Now, even with repairs at certain stations it's like every 3 minutes there is another train coming after the first one left. The trains are new. Found them to be clean compared to some of the other lines. What I love about the 7 train "International Express Train" for its diverse neighborhood at every station that you get off. It's like an adventure and you are venturing to another country, smell the fragrance and aromas of the food being cooked. Every country that is represented and you find enclave of eateries and shops. It's like a mini United Nations on the 7 Train. -The MTA 7 Train will take you to Citi Field for Mets Game. Get off at Willets Point Station. Also Flushing Meadow Park, and US open as well as other events. -Get off at Main Street- Last stop towards Flushing. Chinatown- Lots of food shopping and dining experience. Don't forget the Sky View Mall-You will see segment of the mall as train heads underground toward Main Street. Just a few descriptions of the stations on the 7 train to whet your appetite. Will post update soon on the other stations. Look forward to when the 7 Train goes into Brooklyn.

Don't really understand why we even need that many entrances in just about two streets apart. The subway stations in the city don't even have as many entrances as the Main Street one. You'll see MTA workers cleaning and sweeping on different sides of the platforms. The tracks are sometimes clean and sometimes dirty filled with garbage. Don't like seeing those rats running across the tracks waving at me. The train carts are pretty clean most of the time. Except when sometimes you'll see homeless people sleeping on the seats. The 7 train is somewhat reliable on the weekdays. But, don't expect the same kind of service during the weekends. I pray in my mind that there's nothing wrong with MTA every single day. If it ever has issues like debris on train tracks or delayed service, it might take you up to 1.5 hours or the chance of screwing up your day/plans/schedule. So, may the odds be ever in your favor!

I'm reporting it due to seeing children with there families waiting in overcrowded plat forms hazardous conditions. I was Shock and Awe!! By the conditions, its badly in need of maintenance. Just from the pics you can see the foreign alien stuff growing on the floors, ceiling, cracks on the deck, and main platform, a real hazard to commuters. I ride the Subway all the time and I have seen major improvements, unfortunately this station appears to be forgotten. While the MTA has a difficult task at hand in repairing the Subway System, Public Safety should be a priority specially where its a station with high traffic of small children and their Parents, MTA take notice. Never seen so much neglect and rust its worse then a WII Battleship.

They do have a waiting room area, but it's only open for a few hours a day, which is pretty terrible during bad weather or in the winter. There weren't many ticket machines, which is usually okay. The platform going towards Long Island has none, so watch out! Lastly, what's really annoying is that every half hour or so, either this station or Auburndale is skipped. It only takes an extra minute to stop at both during off peak hours, so this is just an inconvenience to local residents - as if the high price of commuting to Manhattan isn't enough!

The southbound local platform gets the M train toward Metropolitan Avenue, the R train toward 95th Street and the E train toward World Trade Center. The northbound local platform gets the M and R trains toward 71st Avenue and the E train toward Jamaica Center. The station is tidy enough and well lit though I felt the platforms were rather narrow compared to other stations. I don't like people standing behind me at subway stations and there are only a very few benches here for waiting. Entrances at street level are stairs only. The station opened in 1936 and there is no handicap access here. There is a mezzanine level with ticketing kiosks and fare control, then another set of stairs down to the platform level. Although I use car service arriving & departing NYC, as an avid commuter, the travel experience is dragged down by ground logistics. Rather than a commuter or rail line, the current mass transit setup relies solely on the Q70-SBS 'LaGuardia Link' bus to connect you to the subway & the Long Island Rail Road at Jackson Heights & Woodside. If you skip the bus & opt for a private car service or rideshare instead, the vehicle pickup zones (found at the arrivals inner lane/outer curb doors) are heavily congested. + the frustrating, long walk & if you have heavy luggage, it doubles the frustration. In comparison to JFK, LGA is a great choice for domestic travel due to its proximity to Manhattan & again, the modernized terminals, though it lacks a direct train link. In contrast, JFK is much farther & currently bogged down by heavy construction, yet it remains the essential hub for international routes & reliable public rail connections. LGA's recent renovation has the inside gleaming, yet the surrounding layout & lack of rail lines remain chaotic.

It was marred by years of wear and tear; stains galore from pigeon feces and a number of other questionable substances. It was a miracle that the sign was still legible. Fast forward to today -- the MTA has taken great steps to modernize the station and with their recent renovation, the place has brightened up to look like a real transit destination. This is probably also partially due to the revitalization of Corona itself (pre-pandemic, of course) and while there is still some shady stuff that happens from time to time, it has by in large become far more aesthetically pleasing than its previous incarnation. I appreciate the paint job, stairwell overhaul, added digital signage, and maps / signs tastefully placed throughout (y en español también). The 7 train has surprisingly been voted as a stellar train by straphangers (#1) and the line has seen some substantial improvements with some of the major stops throughout the Roosevelt Ave artery.
