Don't have too much to say about the station. As the name indicates this is the line and station for going to Citi-field and for that I'm very appreciative since I want ease when traversing to and from Queens for that outing. The station and stop itself isn't much to look at. Work looks like it's being done all around so maybe it's being improved upon. The ride there and back was simple enough so no complaints. The conductor on the way back from the game was pretty annoying and unfriendly, screaming at everyone that we'd have to exit at a specific door or be left. I just assume he'd been at it for the past several hours and maybe dealt with some unpleasant passengers. I think the station and perhaps line can improve and with all the fans coming out and moves to improve the MTA in general, perhaps it will.

My 7th review on the 7th day of the new year has to be for the #7 train. I was going to save this…read morereview for 2027, but it cannot wait another year. The #7 IRT train from Manhattan to Flushing, Queens, you have to love it or hate it. It goes to some of the iconic destinations in NYC, like CitiField, Flushing Meadows Corona Park & Jacob Javits Convention Center. It also connects Times Square with Grand Central Station and more recently, Hudson Yards with the farthest reaches of Queens. It goes through some of the most densely populated areas of the City, so ridership is high (re: packed like sardines in a can). So many memories were made on the 7. I remember as a teenager going to the Mets games at Shea Stadium with my friends or playing ultimate frisbee or football under the Unisphere. And the fare was just 50¢ for a subway token each way! Later as an adult, we would ride to the US Open to watch Pete Sampras or Andre Agassi and the fare would be $1.50 using the Metro-Card. The 7 is not without its ups and downs. Probably 80% of its tracks are elevated with its terminal stops underground and a long stretch going under the East River. The exposed elevated tracks from Sunnyside to Flushing seem to have more than its share of maintenance woes and currently do not stop at 3 station platforms undergoing reconstruction. I remember not too long ago, pieces of the structure like rivets & rusted out steel would fall onto cars along Roosevelt Ave and the MTA had to sling hammock nets under the really corroded sections to catch falling debris. Also on short notice, it will not run into Manhattan, which is a major inconvenience for Queens residents. The MTA is trying new schedules though, with direct express trains for Mets game or the US Open, which benefits Manhattanites mostly. So, if during rush hour you see my face pressed up against the door window, it probably was not by choice, just out of necessity that I had to get somewhere and couldn't wait for the next train. Do not get on. Elmo says, "This review has been brought to you by the number 7."

I…read morerecall many moons ago when the 7 train was sluggish with so many delays due to traffic signals and repairs. Now, even with repairs at certain stations it's like every 3 minutes there is another train coming after the first one left. The trains are new. Found them to be clean compared to some of the other lines. What I love about the 7 train "International Express Train" for its diverse neighborhood at every station that you get off. It's like an adventure and you are venturing to another country, smell the fragrance and aromas of the food being cooked. Every country that is represented and you find enclave of eateries and shops. It's like a mini United Nations on the 7 Train. -The MTA 7 Train will take you to Citi Field for Mets Game. Get off at Willets Point Station. Also Flushing Meadow Park, and US open as well as other events. -Get off at Main Street- Last stop towards Flushing. Chinatown- Lots of food shopping and dining experience. Don't forget the Sky View Mall-You will see segment of the mall as train heads underground toward Main Street. Just a few descriptions of the stations on the 7 train to whet your appetite. Will post update soon on the other stations. Look forward to when the 7 Train goes into Brooklyn.

But this station does have very heavy traffic flow. The station itself could probably use a good paint job, better signs , the MTA clocks seems to work here & there. The outside plaza used to be decent in the sense that is was clean & clear now it looks like a food fair everyday & it is jammed packed pretty much everyday it's become aggravating to walk through there's just way too much going on outside. As for the service well as long as there are no interruptions the station itself is not terrible, easy to get to & from.

It was marred by years of wear and tear; stains galore from pigeon feces and a number of other questionable substances. It was a miracle that the sign was still legible. Fast forward to today -- the MTA has taken great steps to modernize the station and with their recent renovation, the place has brightened up to look like a real transit destination. This is probably also partially due to the revitalization of Corona itself (pre-pandemic, of course) and while there is still some shady stuff that happens from time to time, it has by in large become far more aesthetically pleasing than its previous incarnation. I appreciate the paint job, stairwell overhaul, added digital signage, and maps / signs tastefully placed throughout (y en español también). The 7 train has surprisingly been voted as a stellar train by straphangers (#1) and the line has seen some substantial improvements with some of the major stops throughout the Roosevelt Ave artery. The plaza itself? Now it's the sight of various events and community gatherings. It's family friendly during the daytime with neighborhood partnerships and programming, as well as a revitalized street food scene (#2). It's true when they say time heals all wounds. Here's hoping in due time that the rest of the borough can follow suit. ____________ (#1) Unless of course, the MTA is simply tricking us. Ahem. (#2) This is *huge* (!)

I'm reporting it due to seeing children with there families waiting in overcrowded plat forms hazardous conditions. I was Shock and Awe!! By the conditions, its badly in need of maintenance. Just from the pics you can see the foreign alien stuff growing on the floors, ceiling, cracks on the deck, and main platform, a real hazard to commuters. I ride the Subway all the time and I have seen major improvements, unfortunately this station appears to be forgotten. While the MTA has a difficult task at hand in repairing the Subway System, Public Safety should be a priority specially where its a station with high traffic of small children and their Parents, MTA take notice. Never seen so much neglect and rust its worse then a WII Battleship.

They handled our pickup from LGA to our Midtown hotel and later our return trip back to the airport, and both rides were flawless. This was truly 5-star service and one part of the trip I didn't have to worry about at all. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, communication was clear, and everything ran exactly on time. It was worth every penny compared to mass transit or other ride services. What really set them apart was their customer service. When we were dropped off at the airport, my son accidentally left his phone in the car. Umar went out of his way to drive all the way back around and personally return the phone to us--no hesitation, no attitude, just genuine care and professionalism. I can't recommend Precision NY Chauffeur Service enough. If you want reliable, stress-free transportation in NYC, this is the company to use.
