Good New York style pizza and decent stuffed pizzas. Worth a trip at least once a week.

Staying in Londonderry, Vt. for a ski trip and we wanted to grab some pizza for dinner; Sam's Wood…read moreFired Pizza in Manchester popped up and we were very impressed with what we got. Sam's is in a small plaza set back from the street. Inside you find a nice casual pizza place, as you come in you have the pizza kitchen with the large wood fired pizza oven. You can order slices or whole pies, they also have salads, wings and a couple of sandwiches. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and grabbed a table by the small bar area. The bar has beer and wine, they offer a very nice selection of local brews. After settling in the pizza showed up quickly. Sam's pizzas are thin crust, nicely cheesy and have a good basic tomato sauce. The pizza are very good with a nice balance between the yeasty crust, the pungent cheese and the slightly sweet sauce. The mushrooms were a nice touch to add some extra umami to the pie. The pizza was well cooked, although I would usually like it a bit more well done. On the table is garlic powder, hot pepper, oregano, grated cheese and even some hot honey, so you can modify your pizza to your taste. The large pie made a nice dinner split between the two of us, we each got 4 good sized slices. Sam's is a great casual pizza joint, the atmosphere is relaxed, service is quick and we even had some very good live music to compliment our meal. If you are looking to get some good pizza and some beers you can't go wrong by heading to Sam's Wood Fire Pizza.

The cheese blend on the extra‑cheese pizza was especially tasty, and a custom veggie pie (broccoli, greens pepper, mushrooms) had probably the most thin, uniform distribution of toppings we've ever seen. Literally every bite had small cut, perfectly cooked vegetables in it. The crust might have been our favorite part -- that ideal mix of soft and thin, with great texture and flavor. We know pizza reviews can sometimes get a rough rap, especially when people compare everything to NYC or New Haven styles. We're very familiar with those and love them. This isn't that -- and it doesn't need to be. This is simply wonderful pizza, the kind you look forward to having again. We really enjoyed the whole experience and will absolutely return on future visits to Manchester Center.

And on top of having customers pay merchant fee on credit cards! News flash Christo's it's a called a merchant fee, because the merchant pays it! It the price for accepting credit cards and get cash deposited into you acct the next day and not have a cash headache. This place used to be something back in the day! But it's clear the family is exhausted and no longer committed to being the dining establishment it once was! At this rate a PapaJohns franchise might be the best out!

We were staying at the Hampton Inn in Manchester for a weekend of shopping. Seasons Restaurant is…read moredirectly across the street from the hotel and was recommended by the hotel staff. The restaurant has a dining area and a nice sized bar was playing the Celtics game on this Friday night. My daughter tried one of their signature fall drinks. It was a lemonade cider with the whiskey. She could taste the whiskey, but said it was very good. I have a gluten allergy and was excited to see gluten-free onion soup as an appetizer. I got that and my daughter got the baguette bread with butters. Both were excellent. She said the garlic butter was just delightful. I got the petite fillet with crab meat and shrimp cooked, medium rare. It came out perfect. The mashed potatoes were delicious and grilled asparagus was cooked perfectly with a nice seasoning. My daughter got the chicken Parm over fresh ravioli with a vodka sauce. She said it was excellent. There was gluten-free cheesecake on the dessert menu but when I ordered it, the the waitress said they had a different cheesecake that evening that was not gluten-free. Nonetheless, my daughter got the Brulé flavored cheesecake and said it was delicious. We highly recommend seasons restaurant if you're in the Manchester area.

Outstanding dining experience!!!! Everything about this…read moreevent was perfect from our first interaction by phone securing a hard to find table to the awesome staff we intereacted with, to even a local couple that offered us a tip about Peru VT (thank you, you know who you are), to the awesome menu options, the beautiful plating presentations to the flavor and preparations. A home run. Wish you were closer to us in south east PA. Oh well, we will be back again in November. Shout out to Evaluna our server and food guide for the evening. She is a delight!!!!!!! We started the evening with the roasted pear salad... my wife is not a huge salad fan but she was taking food off my plate as we were sharing. What a great start. For our main course, we shared the short rib ragu which warmed our bellys and soul; a hearty dish. We complemented the dish with a glass of KJ Chard for her and Elouan Pinot Noir for me. Can't wait to return. See our delicious food pics included.
