It's pizza day for hubby and myself. We decided to try Clark's Pizzeria. We had a large cheese pie on thin crust. The pizza was good, cooked as requested crispy but not overcooked. Just the way we like it. The lady who took my order was very pleasant. They have tables and a few locals eating by the bar. The owner was very nice as well. We will definitely come back and try different item on the menu. read more

My son and I decided to stop for dinner. We each ordered personal size pizzas (10"). It was $43 for 2 personal pizzas and one can of soda. I thought that was overpriced, especially after we recieved our food an hour later (no joke)! The pizza is mediocre and the service horrible. I cannot eat gluten and ordered a cauliflower crust. Apparently, they prepared both our pizzas with traditional crusts, so they had to remake mine. After waiting 45 minutes for the pizzas, I finally got up to ask when we were getting our food. They told me the mistake, but only because I approached them. We literally waited an hour for pizza that I wouldn't wait any time for given its quality. The sauce was not good, my toppings were basially raw vegetables on top of the pizza and the cheese just ok. As for service no one told us about the delay and no one tried to make it right by offering to refund of our money, offering us a drink, anything!!! Not a single thing including a sincere apology. The restaurant was freezing. So we sat there for an hour very uncomfortable with our feet freezing as we wore our jackets to keep warm. They bathroom was not clean. Avoid this place for sure. TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE ambiance and mediocre food. read more

I placed an order for pick-up today (Saturday 06/15/24 about 4:30 pm) for a 14" pizza with toppings, and a 10 piece mild BONELESS chicken wing order. Picked it up, drove ten minutes home near the Lake Lauderdale area. Brought the food in, and the wings were Not Boneless. My overall dissection of this experience is, you didn't have any Adult supervision in the kitchen, or focused enough to take orders. While waiting a few minutes for my order to finish, I observed enough "silliness", to be expected by teenagers of course, that maybe it distracts them, or it was just a simple mistake. We ordered when we were passing through thr area on a road trip. It was right in our route and we timed it perfectly to run in and pick up our pizza and get on the road again. It was delicious. The crust was great. Our daughter raved about the gf pizza crust too. We would order again if we lived nearby. read more

I was surprised to find pizza this good in this town. It's good! It's not up there with New York City's finest, but it's close. Where it gets a little problematic, and the reason I subtracted one star, is the price. It's pretty expensive...maybe because they're the only actual pizzeria in town and they're taking advantage of the fact. Don't know. But it's a shame, because we order from there much less often than we otherwise would just because of the price (we're on a low budget these days...as I think is true of many people in this town). But if you're in this area and you don't mind spending a little more than you might be accustomed to for your pizza, this is the place to go, because the pizza is good. read more

You all are damning this place with faint praise. You seriously dont know what you've got. Ive had the best pizza a lot of cities have to offer many many times, Johns in the village, Joes on Carmine, Karonet on the upper west side, Di Fara in Brooklyn, you name it. Bar style and deep dish in Chicago, even the (sublime) detroit style in detroit at Buddys. I dont say this lightly: Clarks in Cambridge is by far the best slice of pizza I have ever had. And doesnt even make a fuss about it. Crust (especially the thin) is properly fermented, crisp and flavorful. Perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. And that sauce is lowkey everything. Spicy, sweet, savory, salty and acidic, all big, bold flavors in equal balance. Theres a lot of bad pizza out there and the devil is in the details, and they have all the fundamentals absolutely nailed. Been living not nearby but nearby enough to make the drive at least once a month for years and when hardcore foodie friends are up to visit I always hype up this pizza and force it on them and not once did anyone finish a slice and disagree. Also the reviews here splitting hairs on the service, which has always been at the very least totally fine for me but who cares? Clark's is, as far as food goes, fine. The service has never been an issue, the restaurant itself is generally clean and pleasant, but the prices for the food are a little outrageous, when similar restaurants locally sell food that tastes leagues better. read more

I attended a family get-together in Cambridge, and that included a Clarks Pizzeria dinner. My local relatives love the place, and I can see why. Everything was well-prepared and delicious, and the portions were huge. We ordered a variety of meals including burgers, calzones, and full dinners. The full dinners came with salads. These weren't anything fancy, but again the portions were large and everything was fresh. My pepperoni calzone was huge, the size of 3 of my hands. It was deceptively thin. Upon digging in, I discovered just how much pepperoni was layered inside. The pepperoni was just-right spicy for me, and not too greasy. There was more than an adequate amount of sauce inside, plus 2 additional containers of sauce. The cheese bread appetizer could have doubled as garlic bread, it was that tasty, and I again could not get over the size of the garlic knots appetizer. None of us ordered pizza for this dinner, but I suspect the pizza is equally good if not better, and I look forward to coming back for it sometime. read more

I've ordered carry out a few times from Clarks in the last few months. The food is always reliable, tasty, timely, and worth the purchase. Their crust -- thin or regular -- is very enjoyable, and they make an all-around solid pizza. I've tried their Buffalo Chicken, cheese, and a few other pizzas, as well as their wings and cheese fries (I know, I'm a healthy eater). This local pizza shop in the Village of Cambridge serves up NY City style and Sicilian pizzas (slices or whole pie) (6-8-12-24 cut sizes), calzones (with ricotta & mozzarella), subs, burgers, open faced sandwiches (turkey or roast beef) with gravy pasta dinners, wings, tenders, salads, and Pepsi products. The prices here seem reasonable. Specials are offered here. The place is very casual, which is order at the counter with self serve table seating in the air conditioned dining area, TV, framed pictures of Yankee Stadium and the Meadowlands (Met Life) Stadium on the wall. While driving through the area, I stopped in at Clark's Pizzeria around dinnertime since I was hungry, but not super hungry. I noticed they had pizza slices in the lighted glass case, so I decided to get a cheese slice ($2) and a pepperoni slice ($2.25), which were placed in the oven for a few minutes. The pizza slices were pretty good, which had a firm semi thick crust (soft inside, slightly chewy) with the right amount of zesty tomato sauce and cheese. The bottom was crisp and slightly oily with screen pattern, baked in a pan. There was pepperoni in each bite of the pepperoni slice. This was the right amount of tasty pizza for a light dinner on the road. read more

We made an unplanned stop here today on our way through town. Such a pleasant surprise!!!! The pizza was great. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was delicious and by far one of the best crusts I've had in years. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, outdoor seating was am option. Ordered take out from Clark's tonight and was really impressed... the woman who answered the phone and took my order was professional, friendly and super efficient. She calculated the total as she was inputting my order so that process is pretty handy as well - no unnecessary time standing at a register. In the restaurant, I was treated the same - I was greeted by another woman as well... they were both pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Our food was excellent - for a group of us, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, garlic knots, the crispy chicken bacon ranch wrap and crispy chicken sandwich. The garlic knots are to die for, seriously. YUM! I had the chicken sandwich and it was perfection... everything was super fresh and the chicken was cooked superbly. Like I said, really impressed for take away food. Best pizza in town. Maybe a little more expensive than others but it's because the quality of ingredients. You get what you pay for. Still can get two slices and a drink for only $5 at lunch. If you are really hungry the Clark Burger is huge and made from fresh ground beef. No frozen burger here! read more

It's rare that we get something from Clarks we don't like. Their food is good their service is good as well. There are 3 pizza places in this town and Clarks is the only one worth going to, dont waste your time with the others. We love the food and hope they don't ever close while we live in town. Out-freakin'-standing! The pizza we picked up tonight was on par with some of the best NY pizza (and I've eaten A LOT of NY pizza over the years). We kept it fairly simple -- extra cheese and pepperoni, thin crust. And our $19 pie was ridiculously large and incredibly yummy. I'm looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow. $$$$$ Good Pizza for a lot of money. If you order from this place be prepared to pay out the nose. Last time we ordered we got a one small pizza, one large pizza, and wings. The total was $45!!!! This is insane for the amount of food ordered. One time I ordered french fries with cheese and gravy and they charged me $11.00!!!! My family and I were visiting from Illinois for my nephews graduation. Wanted to eat thin ny style pizza like I grew up with. Clarks pizza was exactly what I wanted. We got the 8 cut pepperoni. Service was good and fast. Just disappointed I didn't get a lager one to have left overs. Would recommend if your in the area. Maybe I can get one shipped home. read more

It's ok. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and the garlic knots. It doesn't stand out as one of the better or worse pizzas I've had. We liked the option that you could get a thick or thin crust. Not a bad value for the money. The inside was clean but lacked any character. read more
