Sam's is in a small plaza set back from the street. Inside you find a nice casual pizza place, as you come in you have the pizza kitchen with the large wood fired pizza oven. You can order slices or whole pies, they also have salads, wings and a couple of sandwiches. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and grabbed a table by the small bar area. The bar has beer and wine, they offer a very nice selection of local brews. After settling in the pizza showed up quickly. Sam's pizzas are thin crust, nicely cheesy and have a good basic tomato sauce. The pizza are very good with a nice balance between the yeasty crust, the pungent cheese and the slightly sweet sauce. The mushrooms were a nice touch to add some extra umami to the pie. The pizza was well cooked, although I would usually like it a bit more well done. On the table is garlic powder, hot pepper, oregano, grated cheese and even some hot honey, so you can modify your pizza to your taste. The large pie made a nice dinner split between the two of us, we each got 4 good sized slices. Sam's is a great casual pizza joint, the atmosphere is relaxed, service is quick and we even had some very good live music to compliment our meal. If you are looking to get some good pizza and some beers you can't go wrong by heading to Sam's Wood Fire Pizza.

Look out for the great lunch special or grab whole pie for dinner. I enjoyed the live music when I picked up my pie on a recent Saturday night.

And on top of having customers pay merchant fee on credit cards! News flash Christo's it's a called a merchant fee, because the merchant pays it! It the price for accepting credit cards and get cash deposited into you acct the next day and not have a cash headache. This place used to be something back in the day! But it's clear the family is exhausted and no longer committed to being the dining establishment it once was! At this rate a PapaJohns franchise might be the best out!

I know Manchester is no "best kept secret" but it kinda feels that way. Very nice place. Bougiiiiiiie! BOUGIE! We love Bougie haha! I saw a pink Bentley that absolutely made me day lol. As mentioned, tons of shops and restaurants. However, Manchester SHUTS. DOWWWN! At like 6! Winter probably even earlier. I mean, shuts dowwwn! There are like 3 places open past that time. Christos, the avocado restaurant, and the grocery store. Everything else...if you get into town late and need a place to eat...the avocado place and Christos is it...that I saw at least. Ok so we didn't actually eat here. Couldn't figure out what I wanted. Place is EXPENSIVE! Pizza that expensive is ... absolutely wild to me. I couldn't believe it. My brother had eaten here in the past and liked it. I am picky af when it comes to eating. I couldn't see myself spending this much on pizza lol. I told him...we can just eat here bc I'm tired of looking. We went to the avocado place instead tho. I'm not trying to deter anyone from going here. You're gonna do regardless of what reviews say...especially since they're open till like 9..while every other place...is not. Staff was ok. Not the friendliest. The other place we went to...staff was incredible. So I guess my review is just to give a heads up to everyone that this place is pricey. Like I said, my brother ate there before and liked it. I know the food is amazing, but again, spending what they charge for..:pizza! Hard pass. Restaurant itself is nice. Nicely laid out. Dimly lit. Very clean. Just looks like a super nice pizza place haha. I guess that's it. Was this review pointless? Maybe to some. For others, letting yall know it's an experience pizza joint...I think from that stand point it's not a pointless review. Staff is all young. We all know this generation, even tho so many work retail (for some reason) and hate talking to anyone other than their friends and coworkers. The staff here...you will experience this generation and the "no eye contact" generation and the "yeah?" When they ask if they can help. "Yeah" is "welcome in, wha can I get you" So the management here can take that into consideration especially for being a nice place that has the prices they do. Thanks for reading, JesúsYelperChristo's! Cheers

Sometimes, after a day out in VT, you just need a beer. Or a sandwich. Or both. Or many. Snow Republic has got you. They have great sandwiches, beers, FRIES, and super friendly service. When I next visit Dover, I will certainly make Snow Republic a stop and visit, for some fantastic fries if nothing else.

Looking for a spot to grab food and a beer this looked to the perfect spot. They are a dog friendly establishment so dog owners can know. Food wise they offered a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, and other sandwiches. Beer wise was a little disappointing for our visit considering everything on draft was an IPA with a can option of a porter. I enjoy IPAs and know how popular the style is but at least have a couple other options available at all times. Can never go wrong with a light lager or pilsner and even a sour as well. Drink wise I grabbed The Magic Carpet Ride that was a Session IPA at 5% that packed a lot of flavor for the low ABV and my wife even liked it as a non-IPA fan. She grabbed the porter and thought it was alright but nothing memorable and not the best style for warm summer weather at times. Food wise she got their Luigi (grilled chicken sandwich) while I got their OG Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken). Her sandwich was good while mine was tasty yet one side of it tasted burnt and had a slight unpleasant taste to it. The sauce on it was really tasty though. We also split their cheesy bacon fries and they were loaded with bacon and cheese. The biggest knock was the fries themselves were cold from the start. Would likely pass on them next time. The overall vibe of the place was nice, had a rustic cabin woodsy feel to it as you'd expect for rural Vermont. The music being played though was tropical and it was a nice unexpected surprise. They had both inside and outside seating, outside was a little bit of a miss with the road being so close and noise of traffic. We did prefer inside overall. They also had many games you could play, a pool table, shuffleboard, and card/board games too. Overall I would say the food and beers knocked it down by one star but still worth visiting! Great vibes just not our favorite brewery.

I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. I think that a lot of people feel like they're visiting a friend's place when they come here. I definitely did.

I knew I was in trouble when I saw that the warm mess was served in the kind of plastic to-go container one would be given at a deli counter for coleslaw etc. Very unappetizing-looking. The flavor was good, but the pieces of duck did not work. They seemed like rather tasteless, old leftovers, and the noodles were not Thai noodles, i.e. a rice or cellophane noodle...just a broad noodle that one would have for in fettuccine. The carrots were the best tasting item but over cooked. The entire dish felt like a way to use up leftovers. Food must have eye appeal as well as tasting good. 'My husband fared better with a fried fish sandwich for $10.00 - made with sustainable Pollock. It smelled fishy to me, but he enjoyed it. While he would eat there again (very pleasant to carry the food to the nearby picnic tables, and enjoy a picnic on a nice day by the excellent Dorset Farmers market), I do not think I would venture another try.I wish I had ordered from Pan American instead. Who knows, maybe other dishes are far better.
