I looked over their menu, very interesting assortment of drinks from ceremonial cacao to matcha and other thoughtfully curated cocoa-based drinks. Then their candy selection looks amazing, something for everyone, and what is very impressive is all organic and fair trade ingredients. Go.

(They're leaps and bounds better than that place in Heritage Square). Good quality dark chocolate exterior and flavorful fillings, though I did find some of the fillings a bit salty and wished there were more chocolate interior options rather than all "chocolate outside, something else inside." Some of the flavors were a bit too, uh, Sedona out-there for me, but that's just my personal taste, so I can't hold that against them. Why not 5 stars? Well, they're not in the same tier as the all-timers of fancy chocolates, like LA Burdick in Boston or the like, despite being priced about as high. But if you want fancy handmade chocolates, it's a great option to have in town.

The parking out front is limited but we lucked out and found a close spot. The inside is pretty small but I'd imagine is still a great working space. The cashier was super friendly and even offered a military discount on my order which was amazing. I opted for their Samoa latte and a cinnamon roll to go. Both were great! The cinnamon was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the latte was very well balanced. A solid 10/10 pitstop imo.

Or you can get an Americano- which is not a drip coffee despite the barista's suggestion. Also- it only comes as a 16 oz. If you say 'hey- that's too much coffee, can you give me a smaller one?' They'll say no, that's their 'recipe' (the most pretentious explanation for literally POURING water over coffee beans) and suggest that YOU just dump some out. No but see, I want oat milk and cinnamon in my $7 drip coffee so if I need some poured out and the perfect ratio with the milk then I'd probably not be the one to do it unless I can come behind the counter & also adjust my milk? $16.15 for a small oatmilk latte and a pour over. They'll also tell you that it'll take longer for your pour over, you'll say "hey maybe just nevermind the whole thing." To which they'll struggle to not glare at you. So you say oh no worries of course I'll wait more than the standard ten minutes. And finally- they don't even make their own syrups. To charge $7.50 for a latte and not make your own syrup is criminal. There's way too many actually good (and fast) coffee shops in flag for this. I'll be at Foxtail thanks!

Tourist Home Cafe absolutely lives up to the hype. This breakfast spot was INCREDIBLE from start to…read morefinish. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor area is especially impressive. They have what looked like a private dining space inside a barn-style shed, several gas fire pits, and even a slightly elevated platform that looked perfect for live music. Ordering is simple -- you place both food and drink orders at the counter, then they bring everything out to your table. Even though the place was busy, the food came out fast and piping hot. The food itself was outstanding. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and my wife got the chilaquiles. Both portions were huge. The chicken and biscuits were exactly what I was hoping for: smothered in rich country gravy with a perfectly fried flattened chicken breast that was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The buttermilk biscuit was golden, flaky, buttery, and had the perfect balance of soft interior and crisp edges. I honestly got full halfway through my plate and never even got a chance to try the wife's chilaquiles. The drip coffee was excellent too -- simple, hot, and exactly what good breakfast coffee should be. There's street parking along with a small parking lot across the street. Easily one of the best breakfast spots we've been to.

It was the…read moreday after NAU graduation (Saturday), and we were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of outdoor seating (probably a little result of too much celebrating the night prior). We had placed our orders inside and were sent away with a number on a stand for our table. The gal that waited on us was very patient and uber-friendly taking our orders - luckily there was no one behind us and she took the time to answer all of our questions. I feel like we'd only been seated just a hot second when the food arrived! Fabulous service - quick and friendly and always with a smile. Hubby and I each got a cup of fresh brewed coffee that did not disappoint! Not too weak, not too strong... brewed to perfection! My husband ordered the chicken and biscuit and I the chilaquiles Christmas style. Lord have mercy both of these dishes were the bomb! Not only plenty of food but super tasty - I had my chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and they also came with about 1/2 a freshly sliced avocado. Nice, tangy flavor and sprinkled with just the right amount of cotija cheese! Shared with the table and still had leftovers (and I'm not mad about it). Husband's dish was perfection - the perfect biscuit combo - fluffy, chewy and crunchy in all the right places, and the gravy not overly seasoned or salty. Chicken was a breaded/fried (possibly baked) and cooked/seasoned just right. Inner meat was tender and moist and outside of course was crunchy - batter was well seasoned and breast didn't seem greasy at all. I worked in a mom-and-pop coffee shop decades ago - everything was homemade and fresh and the coffee 2 die 4. This establishment brought me back to those times in regard to coffee/food quality and hospitality! Will 100p be returning when next we're in town!
