My husband really wanted a buffet and we had heard good things about this one (and received a coupon in the mail). This building was clearly a former Golden Corral with the identical layout. When you walk in, there is a double-sided counter to pay and order your drinks. For two adults at lunch, our cost after our 10% off coupon (but before tip) was $27. There is self-service for finding a seat, getting silverware, and of course, your food. There is waitstaff assigned to each table section to take plates and get drink refills. Many sections of food available, one with fruits and salads, one with American fare like pizza and mac and cheese, a few with Chinese staples like sweet and sour chicken, chicken and broccoli, general tso's, coconut shrimp, egg rolls, crab rangoon, rice (white and fried), udon noodles, and sautéed green beans. There is also a large section with fresh sushi. The food was cooked well. The sushi was fresh and veggies cooked perfectly. My favorite item in the whole buffet was the green bean dish (yes, seriously ;-) ). I just wish the food had been warmer. Not the buffet's fault (nor impacting my rating), but there were so many people all around us coughing as they got their food and then handling the spoons. When i came into the buffet i was already planning on giving a cash tip and the asian lady notice i put a 0 on the tip and already being rude to me saying dont do this and dont do that. She then noticed were having a good time comes up to us and throws a pen on our table and repeatedly says thank you like 20 times because she wants me put a number on the tip but mind you i already had the cash tip ready but she keeps harassing us and not leaving us alone....and fyi some of the foods taste like urine and gave us a tummy ache and possibly food poisoning i suggest you eat elsewhere read more

Horrible experience with our server, she was rude from the start and unwelcoming to us and other customers. She was forcing us to leave after grabbing a couple of plates. The food gave me a tummy ache. Customers didn't seem to like the server either. We were ready to tip, but she cut our trip too short. I don't recommend coming here unless you want a tummy ache or get limited for how long you can stay here. She is one of the worst servers I have witnessed read more

FOUND A HAIR IN MY HAM. most of the food is chinese food. good seafood selection. all of the other food is canned and you can see the giant can racks in the back. one small bar of "home cooking" fried food and even half of that is fried rice and lo mein. the chinese foods are much better than the american canned foods. great if you're seeking out chinese but not if you expected a well balanced buffet. the biggest plus was steak cooked to order just like the golden corral this used to be. little expensive and doesn't include a drink but for this much seafood that is expected. read more

Gave this place a try on New Year's Day and enjoyed it! Everything is bright and clean inside, food was hot, and our server was attentive and pleasant. We were especially happy with the sushi, although the Chinese-American fare was also good. I filled up before we got to the steak, but it's cooked to order and looked great. They have reportedly lowered their prices from opening day; it's $16.99 for dinner and all day Sundays, which is pretty standard given inflation. I saw some Google reviews complaining that the food was cold, to which I will respond that--as with all buffets--you need to plan your route. They keep the dining area on the cool side, so if you fill up your plate with warm food and wander around, it will be cold by the time you sit down. I could see the water baths boiling under the clear chafing dishes, so they're doing the best they can within the limitations of a self-serve design. read more

Genuinely surprised at the quality of food on the buffet, including the sushi. Almost everything was exceptional. Best Buffett sushi I have ever had. friendly and attentive staff. Very kid friendly. They even had working safety restraints on their high chairs- which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Very clean, budget friendly, wide variety.. they have your normal Asian cuisine plus American comfort food. Sushi, hibachi/teriyaki, Chinese dishes, seafood, lasagna, pie, mashed potatoes and gravy, pizza, rolls and garlic bread, etc. You will be pleasantly surprised. read more

As far as Chinese buffets go, this is definitely our favorite! The restaurant itself can get pretty chaotic due to the buffet style dining, but they make up for it in excellent service, fresh food, along with a large choice of food. We read all the reviews before we went in and we were shocked. We expected it to be at least decent. Never have I had such a disappointment. The food was COLD and mostly Chinese food, It was advertised as both types of food. The rolls looked good but they were so COLD. The food was not even tasty and I realized it was a different clientele than I am used to but food is food. There were four of us and we all said this is two times here, first & last. The service was okay but they were all walking around talking in their language and looking at us. Another lady mentioned to me, I don't like that as they could be talking about everyone. There were CHILDREN working the cash register upon entry and staff's children playing with the drink machine behind the counter. Makes you wonder what other violations are occurring behind the scenes. We stayed having driven intentionally, based on reviews, from Maryville. It was $35 for 2 of us, which is expensive. Our waitress was attentive and an adult, so good. The place was packed since it was high noon on a Sunday. After getting our plates and starting to eat, the table next to us found hair in their lo mein and got into an argument with management and walked out. Fun. The food bar was like a messy, sloppy feeding trough and not being maintained or tended to. The food was just ok, and the clientele were totally unappetizing, as well, with kids running around and people eating in line and not getting clean plates to revisit the bar. In the location where Golden Corral was until they closed it during the pandemic, this is an Asian buffet without enough traffic to keep the turnover high. That's a problem for a buffet style restaurant; the food sit..... and sits ... Some was good, some was OK, a few items were distinctly unappetizing. If I lived closer I might go back, but it's a 30 minute drive and not worth it. (Golden Corral was worth it, but the closest one is now an hour away.) read more

This is probably the best Chinese/American buffet I have gone to in Knoxville. They have a lot of American food as well. I have a picky eater and they don't really care for Chinese food but they have not one but two things of steaks and they said that it was the best steak they had have. I personally loved the noodles and coconut shrimp and actually about everything I had honestly. The customer service was amazing as well the waiters were really nice and our drinks were never empty which is amazing and she even picked up the plates fast. It is a bit costly but I believe it's completely worth the money. They even have seafood like crawfish,shrimp with heads and many others and really good sushi especially for it being a buffet. All I can say is try this place you won't regret it honestly read more
