China Inn is an expensive Chinese buffet and restaurant that has some very tasty food and they really pile it on when you get a to go order! Their hot and sour soup is delicious! My girlfriend and I can go there and both of us eat until we're totally stuffed for under $25. read more

Terrible quality Chinese food. Honestly some of the worst I've had in my life. We made the mistake of getting the buffet and the food was lukewarm, and practical inedible. On top of it, the place was filthy. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in YEARS. I never leave bad reviews but I truly almost threw up twice biting into disgusting pieces of chicken that should have never been served. This is my first visit to this restaurant. I moved here recently and I'm on the search for a great chinese restaurant. This is the second one I'm trying. I ordered carry out and was running about 10 minutes late, definitely after my quoted pickup time, but my food wasn't ready. No problem. 10 minutes later my order was ready. While I waited, I was watching the guys cooking in the kitchen. It's right in front of you, on the other side of the pickup counter so it's impossible to miss. It definitely needs a nice deep cleaning. There's food on top of the work surface, and old food running down the sides of the stainless. There was an overall look of dirtiness. There were plastic food containers sitting around without lids, and even on the dirty kitchen floor. The cooks were wiping their hands on their food covered clothes. I took my order home and the Beef With Chinese Vegetables was average, consisting mostly of beef and broccoli. The beef in my entree was very tender though! I ordered their white rice and was surprised to see that it was actually blazing yellow in color; heavily coated in turmeric. I called them about that, thinking I wasn't given the white rice, and was told that ALL of their rice is yellow. Even the fried rice...so if you're looking for REAL white rice, this is definitely not the place to get it! It may have been an off day in their kitchen and their cleanliness may have slipped, but it's cause for concern. They have to know that their kitchen is right there for everybody to see. We had a full day of traveling and ordered from China Inn online to be delivered. I have a receipt that shows. Ordered 2 entrees and a soup. I only received 1 entree and the soup. China inn refused to make it right, insisting they only had The 1 entree and soup on the order even though my receipt shows both entrees plus soup. I would have thought they'd make the cashew chicken and send it over to make it right, but they wouldn't acknowledge any responsibility at all. The wonton soup was ok, but the wontons were tough and under cooked. My husbands sweet and sour chicken was fine. Suggest you avoid this business if ordering online. read more

Pretty good Chinese food with what you would expect on a Chinese buffet. We used to eat here almost every Sunday afternoon and that may have been why I can't rate it higher - we may have just gotten burned out on it from going so much. Food is okay, very small buffet but usually fresh and taste good. You have to order white rice or crab ragoon separately from the buffet. Never get their sprite, it taste horrible and they are really bad about refilling your drinks unless it's water. read more

This place has been around forever. I guess I'm fond of the taste because it's the first Chinese food I tried. That said, for Clinton it's decent and for a $6 lunch you can't go wrong. I don't expect much when I go there, so I'm never disappointed. If you want to be an adventurous eater go to Knoxville. It's a cheap, decent Chinese buffet that gets the job done. I have eaten at this restaurant more than ten times or so and every time I eat here it seems to get worse and worse. There aren't a lot of ethnic restaurants in this area so being an adventurous eater there aren't a lot of options. I get very bored with the same ol' same. This restaurant offers a small to medium size buffet with what seems like many different varieties of what I hope is chicken, although I have doubts. The black pepper chicken doesn't even taste like chicken. It's got a terrible flavor-eat at your own risk. The chicken you use to make sweet and sour chicken is dry and bland. My son and I debated on eating here or at Papa John's and I am regretting eating here instead of going there. I gave the restaurant 2 stars instead of one because their fried rice is okay and their sweet and sour sauce is okay too. Their desserts are unimpressive. read more
