Great place for a fun night out! I've gone to three dance parties, including for my birthday and I always have the best time. Bartenders are friendly and work fast. I love the theme bar in December...it is one of the spots to visit with friends and family who are visiting. The cherry on top for this place is the pizza! I've been coming to Gramps on occasion for a few years now! We mostly come for the Liverpool games, which are incredibly fun! There is always a great fan base full of LFC supporters, and it's just an overall fun environment to watch games in. It's also nice because there is both indoor and outdoor areas to hang out in, so you're great to go in all climates. The outdoor patio is super cute and has very fun, tiki-like vibes. And there is always music playing, so it's really nice to come hang out and drink with friends. My go-to drink here is their Moscow Mule. It is by far the best Moscow Mule I have had anywhere in my life. I don't know what they do, but it's perfect. They must use extra fresh ginger, because the ginger taste is so fresh and delicious. This place is probably my favorite bar in Miami yet. It's a nice place to grab a drink in a down to earth bar that wasn't trying to be be a club. Haven't gotten the pizza but It was a good place to stay out of the rain. The cucumber in paradise was a good spicy tequila drink to warm you up on a wet day. The prices were similar to most of the other bars but the overall vibe is punk 5/5 would recommend to a friend. read more

Came by here for drinks on our last night in the area. Music was OK with a good amount of seats to sit down and take a load off of your feet. I also liked how there was a photo booth to capture the memories of the night. Gramps has one of the best pizzas in miami in my opinion, the ambiance is very chill and the bartenders are always very welcoming.

The bar itself is on the smaller side with limited seating and can get crowded in a hurry. The good news is that they have a huge, spacious, outdoor patio that has a back up bar and a walk up pizza window! We stopped here early afternoon but you can see that at night, that patio would be an awesome dance floor/party space that can have live music! read more

I wish I experience what everyone here has... but it was a DEAD when I went. The music was cool, but def a setting to just sit, get a drink and talk. Not a vibe or hype place. It was empty, dark and it just wasn't it. I would be willing to give it another try, as the space is huge and indicates that at some point this place has to get full and is great. However, it just wasn't the case on this Saturday night. As the name indicates, it felt like I was at a retirement home. One of the best bars in Wynwood! Came in here one night just "browsing" around wynwoods night scene. Gramps was nice and open and they were playing amazing Latin music. We walked in and instantly started dancing. We danced for a while and worked up a thirst. In walking in we noticed a couple of places to grab some food and of course where we were dancing, a large space that can fit a lot of people. The space is open and outdoor. It was moderately full. Not full enough that you couldn't breathe. Next to the dance floor there is a pizza place that I heard was phenomenal. We didn't try it but we decided to walk to their inside area which encompasses their main bar. Here you get this re done diner vibe. So cool. They have a list of drinks on the top wall above the bar. The drinks here are cocktails. These bartenders are mixologist. They really make great drinks here. I like them a lot. I believe I have tried most of them. This time I had this rosemary drink. It was so good. The bartender made it so good. There was music in here as well but different type of music. If you go to the "real front" of the place it's a whole different area where you can hang out. So in one place you can vibe in three different areas. Great hangout in wynwood. I will give this place a 3/5. Pizza and garlic knots were good but the vibe was off, drinks were over priced for happy hour and staff was not friendly. There was a show about to start and we had just sat down to eat, maybe halfway through our meal they made us get up and move because they wanted to close off the outside area for the show that was starting. Mind you, it was completely empty and I told them we were almost done with our 1 slice of pizza and we would move once finished. They made us move regardless. Went inside and of course no seating so we both squeezed into 1 bar chair. Bar tender was not happy we were eating at the bar but understood since they shoved everyone inside. I've been to Gramps a few times over the course of my Florida residency and I've always had a great time here. It's the perfect mixture of hipster meets dive bar without going too far in either direction. It's hip, fun, and pretty much always a great time. In a lot of ways, Gramps is more than a bar. They've got something for everyone. Whether you're a fan of their Tuesday night trivia, Bingo on Wednesday, and different bands and dj's on the Friday's/Saturday's. It's got a little bit of everything for, well, everyone. They've even got a few cool arcade games so bring your quarters if you feel like shooting some zombies. The bar itself is decent in size, but really, it's the outdoor patio area that makes me love this place. Kind of covered/kind of opened. It's an Instagrammer's paradise with so many cool places to sit, pose, and well of course, post to their social media. Oh! And happy hour is every weekday from 4-7pm and of course, how could I forget the amazing Ms Cheezious food truck that sits outside. Definitely a must after you had a few craft beers. Parking is either on the street or you can park in the pay lot not far from the bar, which is what I typically do as it's well-lit and seemed to be monitored. I just really like of love it here. I've gone to play trivia. I've gone to have drinks. I've gone here and didn't drink but just wanted to hang out with my friends here. We had the cheese pizza which was perfect for me because it's a thin crust and the cheese was good. The wings were white so definitely not fried. I'm guessing smoked possibly because there is no color. My first time and I couldn't eat them. We had plain and honey garlic. Wings definitely a no for me. LOVED gramps!!! By far my top favorite bar to come to in the area. The food was great, staff was friendly, drinks were great, and the music was amazing! I honestly loved how they had a large area by the stage for dancing, that's what bars with music are for!! Their pizzas are a little pricey, but so worth it as they are massive in size! From what I remember, they have two bar areas and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It seemed like a lot of people were having fun and the energy was great in here. Toward the end of the night, it started getting more crowded and there was a cover, but as long as you get here early, you should be fine. It comes garnished with a torched rosemary sprig, which is the perfect addition to a well made drink. They also sell the most delicious pizza I've ever tried by the slice from a takeout window outside. Alright, maybe I was a little under the influence, but if I thought it was that amazing then, it's probably still really good pizza sober. I love Gramps. We went on a random day in July and they were having a Halloween party. Halloween is my high holiday and seeing people celebrate it in July filled my heart with such joy that I can't even fully write about it here without wanting to squeal out loud. I came with a fairly large crew and we were able to get delicious drinks (seriously top-notch bartender) and sit outside and chat. The party and music were rockin' inside, but we could hear each other and hang out easily outside. I love how eclectic and fun this place is. Even if it hadn't been Halloween in July when I visited I'd definitely recommend coming back. They have plenty of water stations to help you stay hydrated as you drink, and there's corn hole which is always a great conversation starter and thing to do while drinking, the music selection was super fun (although, Halloween-themed at the time), and everyone we talked to (in costume or not) just seemed friendly and happy to be there, which gave it a great overall vibe. read more

I am a huge fan of Moscow mules, I like theirs because it has a bit of spice to it. Last time I went with something different and had a plum mezcal drink that was also delicious.
