We bought our tickets online, about $25 per person, and they were emailed to us. We choose the 9pm show, comedians usually perform two shows per night, 7pm and 9pm. Aside from the admission ticket, there's a two drink minimum per person policy. The drinks are pricey, anywhere from $15-$23 each. If you order food, snacks or dinner it will definitely add to your total. The food however is great, I've been here a few times and have gotten different items each time, and loved it. Seating is first come first served. Once you check in the staff will escort you to your table, they mange how the room fills up so you don't have to cause chaos trying to figure where to go. The club is spacious, and dimly lit, but still easy to maneuver. There also is a very strict no camera policy, for obvious reasons. If you're into stand up's, The Improv is great, just bring a lot of money.

I appreciate that. I stopped ordering the mixed drinks because I just couldn't find anything I like. I often order a bottle of 19 Crimes red blend wine to satisfy their two drink requirement. That is a solid wine. I also love their Cigar City Jai Alai beer. As far as food, I really like the Mahi sandwich. I order extra crispy fries with it. Second choice would be the buffalo wings. They are pretty tasty. I have had the hamburger and it is pr a ty good but not enough for me to.order it again. I love, love, love their chocolate mousse cake. It is not overly sweet. This is a fun place to go for a night out to escape the daily grind. The comedians and their openers are mostly funny. You can reserve a nice private booth. They have maybe eight of these. You just have to order a minimum per person. (I can't remember of that is $50 or $100 each.)

We were seated in the middle of the room and it was the perfect spot. We arrive a little earlier because we had planned to have dinner here. Giving yourself that extra time really helps. As other guests are coming in and getting situated, the servers come around and take your orders. Items come out fast! Within 10 min of all of ours orders being taken, things were coming out quickly. Food here is good. Can't go wrong and for the price it's reasonable, the portions are shareable between 2 people. The show itself was good, this comedian is not in his prime anymore, so some of his material did seem dry or just mot funny. Way back when he was in the spotlight, yes, he was a big name and quite hilarious. Nevertheless, we had a great time, and we do plan on coming back soon for some other shows. We were given 2 free tickets, and this is due to us ordering the 22oz drinks that come in the souvenir glass. So we will be back for another show this summer at some point.

So my best friend and I surprised another friend today, and took her down to Lips for the first…read moretime.(It was also his first time) I knew that she would be thrilled, but I was overjoyed when I saw her reaction to our "Sunday Brunch" location. When we walked in we were greeted by a couple of the Queens, who quickly took us to our table. We got to choose from many delicious meals. I had the chicken and waffles, my friend had the chicken sandwich, and our birthday girl had the chicken Caesar salad. All of our meals were delicious, and we said we were surprised. We expecting maybe lower quality considering they were more of a show than a restaurant. We were happily proved wrong. The fries were extra crispy, the chicken and waffles were divine, and my friend said it was one of the best chicken Caesar salads she had. The Saturday and Sunday brunches come with all you can drink mimosas or bloody Marys. Even though none of us drink we thought that was great. The show began shortly after lunch and was highly entertaining! Each $40 ticket included lunch and the show. We loved every minute of it! These queens are so dedicated to their craft, and their costume changes and wig changes were incredible! Like I said it was my friend's birthday celebration, and for $10 more she got to be put on stage and have a picture taken with two queens. All in all it lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes, and we all had a fantastic time! This was my third or fourth time there, and it is a great place to do any kind of celebration! I highly recommend Lips for any function! (Make sure to remember your singles for all the tips for the performers)

I met the owner's son Austin, who laid out the specifics for me. I have some gay friends that bowl here, save he let me know gay bowling leagues are Tues/Thurs, hetero/mix M/W/F. So do whatever your flavor is lol There's a great little sports bar attached, Sports Den Pub that has great newer TV's and looks like it's a good time with regular type locals for popular sporting events. The Alley has 20! Lanes built in late 1950's and has all the classic makings of a regular old bowling alley. Everything seemed to be in excellent shape except for the bowling balls. Many were very beaten up, had massive pitting, and many could use replacement. However, I was able to find a couple of good balls and challenge my elderly father to the best of three games. -We had no problem setting up the games or with scoring. (My 86 year old Dad beat me BTW) lol :/ Games were $16 each with bowling shoes included. That is about the going rate that we would pay up in the tri-state, New England area these days. I had a great experience at Manor lanes. It is my closest bowling alley and it's got all the makings of a classic bowling alley, including bar type food and a decent Sports bar. Perfection for me, reminded me of the alleys I spent my childhood in. My dad who has bowled for over 70 years liked it as well, except for the condition of the balls. I'm looking forward to going back to Manor Lanes to bowl a few frames, and possibly get in on a league as a substitute :)
