Looking back, I realized it's been a while since I've reviewed this place, and honestly I think iPic deserves its flowers. Every time we've visited, it's been a great experience. Now, full disclosure: I'm not a huge theatre person. I'd much rather be curled up on my couch than paying to periodically shush strangers. But iPic makes leaving my house worth it. The oversized recliners, cozy blankets, in-seat service, and a good movie? That's a solid date night. Now onto the important part. My biggest tip is to arrive 30 minutes before showtime so you're not trying to read the menu by flashlight once the previews start. Since we caught an afternoon showing, I wanted something a little lighter and ordered the Harvest Bowl, while hubby went with the bison burger and sweet potato fries. I treated myself to one Old Fashioned, and he kept it simple with a beer. Everything arrived before the movie started, which I always appreciate. Just be warned... once those lights go down, you're pretty much on your own trying to guide food from plate to mouth. I find it to be a fun challenge. The Harvest Bowl was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving with chickpeas, quinoa, avocado, and plenty of green. The sweet potato fries were good too. I would've loved a little more crisp on them, but let's be honest that's usually the trade-off with sweet potato. The portions were just right. Filling enough to enjoy without immediately falling asleep in those dangerously comfortable recliners. (Although... maybe skip the late-night showing if you're anything like me.) Please fix the seat E2 in theater 2. The buttons on the chair did nothing at all and the chair was uncomfortable because of that (being loose every time I leaned back it would move). I couldn't be moved because the show was sold out. I advised the manager after the movie and he just gave a discount on our food order which was not fair to our great server because it decreased his automatic gratuity. Although the food was good, I would have preferred a solution like a partial refund on our tickets that would not punish our server for something that is a business issue. I tipped him extra. The food was very good and I appreciated that they have a good amount of vegetarian options. Not an every day place to see a movie but nice for a special occasion-- our 2 loveseat tickets were $50 total and food (two handhelds, a mocktail and a cocktail) was $92 before the discount given for the broken seat. read more

I came here over the weekend and watched a movie. I got the premium seats which ended up being about $20 per person, which is pretty comparable to other theaters nowadays the seats recline all the way back and they are super soft and comfortable. They provide you with a blanket. The food that we ordered was pretty good. I highly recommend the nachos. The service was good, but there are not that many people that are actually taking orders. There is also not a super strict role on talking and unfortunately, there were some loud people near us. read more

I had the pleasure of experiencing IPIC N.Miami Beach with my daughters. It situated in a busy plaza, but definately stands out. There is a dine in restaurant available, which has a bar located outside with a patio. The entrance is not your typical movie entrance. There's a desk, which reminds me of a hotel counter and off to the side are 2 Director style chairs and background, so you can take pictures. The theater was cozy and cute and each seat came with a blanket, which is a great touch. The food was good. I had the chicken wings and truffle fries which were cooked to perfection. My daughters had the kids pizza and they said it was so good!!For a drink I ordered the spiced pear ginger mule. It was a little sour, but other than that our experience was great! read more

I feel like the North Miami Beach location has better upkeep than the Boca Raton location. I think North Miami Beach food is prepared better as well. The service has improved since last time so that's good, but the seats are falling apart. Last time I came the seat didn't recline and another time the seat was wobbly. This time seat F8 in theater 8 is all ripped and that doesn't feel good on the thighs! I recently went to iPic on a date to see "Beetlejuice 2", and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was amazing and gave a very nice chic atmosphere complete with a stunning movie set photo op at the entrance and a glamorous dining area. What really stood out, though? The bathroom--it felt like a luxurious lounge, complete with a personal attendant!!!! Another stand out feature is that during the film you can enjoy personalized service. A waiter takes your order and delivers it directly to your seat. While it is a nice touch, it can be slightly distracting during the movie. My recommendation would be to arrive a bit early to browse the menu and place your order before the movie starts to limit interruptions. Now, onto the food! I throughly enjoyed the filet mignon sliders, they were super juicy and bursting with flavor. And the popcorn was perfectly buttered just the way I liked it. My date had a margarita and enjoyed its strength, which made the price tag feel more than worth it. Overall, this is a perfect spot for a luxury movie date. As an avid IPIC fan, I make it a point to visit the IPIC in Miami whenever I travel here. In New York, I am a regular at the IPIC in Fulton. During my recent visit to Miami, the experience was as wonderful as always. Our waiter was very nice, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the guy from the IPIC commercial there! It was quite a shock since I always see him in the commercials for the IPIC in New York. The theatre was very cold, so I was grateful to receive a blanket--a perk no longer available in New York. I noticed the Stromboli here is different from the one in New York in both size and length, but it was still good. The overall experience was excellent, though I do wish IPIC offered some kind of birthday gift, especially since it was my birthday week and I didn't receive anything. I have been going to IPIC for years, and I always choose it for the comfortable seats and the more private setting. The waiter experience is consistently great as well. I highly recommend IPIC for anyone looking for a superior movie-watching experience. read more

***Fraud Alert-Server stole my money*** I only give one star reviews when the behavior is criminal or borders on criminal---this was my 1st blatant criminal offense witnessed. Let me first say, I have been going to this location since 10/31/2016 and have been well over 30 times (yes, I checked my email account to see) and pre-pandemic I NEVER had an issue. 1/8- I went back for the first time since the pandemic started and was extremely disappointed. -The bathrooms were in disarray -The server was rude -The server had to be reminded to get our popcorn -He had to be reminded to get our appetizer -He had to be reminded to get our entrée -He forgot our dessert -The food, which has always been incredible, was lackluster besides one entrée which was up to par -at least 1/3rd of the theatre had to wait 15 minutes after the movie was over to get their bills The server gave me incredibly bad vibes so I made sure to take a picture of the MERCHANT copy (this will be important later) of the receipt. *Please note, I do not believe in being rude to people so neither me nor my party were anything short of southern-polite with him* I noticed on February 1st when I was auditing my spending that Elijah (the awful server) stole from me giving himself an extra $15 on my card. I immediately called my best friend who is an attorney who said there wouldn't be much I could do even if I had the receipt unless I had the MERCHANT copy which I luckily did. When I called initially I was not able to speak with a manager but one did call me back on 2/2. Initially he was not helpful and said that I left that extra amount for the server but once I mentioned I had the merchant copy he asked me to send him proof (which I did while we were on the phone) and told me he would look into it. He later got back to me and told me he looked into it and could not find the receipt from this server and would reverse the $15 charge and have the GM call me. The GM left me a voicemail (Carlos Oliva) 2/3 at 7:13pm. I called back left a voicemail. -Called back 2/7 left another voicemail no call back -Called 2/8 left a voicemail -Called 2/10 left a voicemail saying I was very disappointed I hadn't heard from anyone and to please call me -2/10 texted the manager that I hadn't heard back from them and was hoping to resolve it -2/15 left another voicemail that if I didn't hear back from them by Weds I was going to file a police report and report it to channel 10 news -2/16 Carlos Oliva calls me at 8:12pm leaves a voicemail I returned the call at 9:41pm and also texted him no answer -2/17 I was able to talk to Carlos who told me he has tried to call me 4 times (blatant lie, I have overseen the installation of phone systems for my career and only had the voicemails mentioned above) I addressed my concerns and was met with a very noncaring demeanor as if this was no big deal. He told me when I was there the bathrooms were totally fine (not true), that it sounded like I saw a great movie and had great food (also not true as I told him but he glossed over that) and didn't seem to care at all; IN FACT, he tried to sell me a membership to their loyalty program for $30! Alarmingly enough, Carlos told me they have had trouble finding people since the pandemic (understandable) and that these things happen as if it was normal for employees to sometimes steal from customers and leads me to believe that everyone should be taking pictures of the MERCHANT copies of their receipts when they got to IPIC. Carlos asked what I wanted them to do for me I told it would be good gesture to perhaps comp a dessert (as I ordered one last time and didn't get it) Below is near verbatim, he was very short and dismissive: Carlos-We don't do that Me-an appetizer? Carlos-We don't do that Me-Entree? Carlos-We don't do that Me-Well I am sorry we could not come to some resolution Carlos-Well it sounds like you had good food, saw a great movie, and we refunded your $15 and got rid of that employee so thank you for your time and have a great day $21 movie tickets PER PERSON? Check! over $100 for appetizers, entree and sangria? Check! Getting your card ran for a fraudulent purchase and having Carlos act like it was another day in the park? Then having to file a police report because you were worried Elijah had stolen from others? Priceless! My suggestion? Go to Cinebistro, the tickets are almost half the price and the food and service was much better. read more

This was my first time at a theater of this kind. They had a full bar where you could have a lovely date, and let me tell you about the movie experience itself. They have the most comfortable chairs ever and even provide blankets. I appreciated the opportunity to enjoy a bite to eat and sip a cocktail while watching the movie. We were visiting from out of town and due to the weather decided on a weekday movie with our kid. We frequent the Redmond, WA iPIC and thought this would be similar. Nothing the whole movie. We went to talk to manager at end of movie though. Was a production. Food service was slow. We had to wait to get check too. Movie had ended! We sat and waited. It seemed like it was just our server though. No popcorn. Seats were kinda wet and gross. Family bathroom was disgusting!! Like no soap. Paper everywhere. Seemed like a truck stop bathroom. So unsanitary. The front cashier with candy - we had to wait awhile for service. Movie quality- It was WAY too loud. I almost went and said something. I feel like they were a few notches too high. Even my husband was like " its loud!" The kicker was that it was a kids movie too! I think someone needs to reset this ipic. The moment you walk into the smaller theaters it's so lovely. You have a blankety ready for you on your recliner. Wait staff comes to great you to take your food and drink order. You must try the churro popcorn. It is so amazing. We keep buying the large one but never finish it because everything else is good. It's actually the only theater I want to go to in Miami. We have always loved this theater and have been loyal customers for a long time, but we were extremely disappointed with the service during our last visit. We came with three children to watch Snow White. I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla, but they brought me a quesadilla with vegetables instead. When I informed the waiter of the mistake, I was told: "We don't have a cheese quesadilla on the adult menu, and the kids' menu is only available for children under 12." That's understandable -- but why wasn't I informed of this when I ordered? And why should I have to pay for something I didn't order? It's the waiter's responsibility to clarify such details at the time of ordering. To make matters worse, I have food allergies, and the theater was dark. When I took a bite of the quesadilla, I had no way of knowing it wasn't plain cheese until I had already started eating. This could have been a serious health issue, and I'm very disappointed that the staff wasn't more attentive to this. Furthermore, I was there with three children under 12. Why, then, would I not be allowed to order a cheese quesadilla from the kids' menu? This policy makes no sense and left us feeling very frustrated. I also want to point out that if the theater has any "restrictions" or "limits" on food selection based on age, that falls under the theater's "policy." However, under Florida law, any such policy must be disclosed in writing in order to be enforced. Additionally, I carefully checked the menu, and nowhere on the menu is there any mention of age restrictions. This also applies to the substitution of ingredients in case of food allergies -- proper disclosure and clarification are essential for the safety and satisfaction of your customers. We've always had positive experiences here, but this incident was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the service going forward. read more

Great to have so close to home! I would say that it's a must to purchase tickets before arrival as the theaters are very small. The premium seats are comfortable and spacious and ordering from your seat is great (auto gratuity charge with this option). I have also sat in standard seats which are comfortable and they are not too close to the screen as most would be concerned when looking at the seating chart. The espresso martini was surprisingly amazing and the food portions are pretty big. Would also recommend getting there earlier to find parking and possible long lines if you don't have premium seats. The tuck room is also nice addition with pretty decent food. On the downside, I would add that the theater had a strong musty smell and I feel they can improve with proper cleaning.. the counters and tabletops in theater were dirty, littered, and the screens for payment looked like it was cleaned sloppily with a wet rag- just doesn't match the aesthetic of the theater. read more

What a lovely movie night!!! So happy to be back to this theater. Once you come to this theater you will never go back to the other cinemas. This is an elegant, sophisticated and refined theater. It's so refine and stylish, the comfort it's incredible, seating is designed to get you enough space and a very unique experience. The service is excellent, you get a premium service. You have the opportunity to order food and cocktails from your seat. Before the movie starts everyone gets popcorn. That's a nice complementary surprise. The sangria and signature cocktails are outstanding. This time we order beers and the pizza margarita; fresh ingredients, thin layer of dough with a crispy texture and an exceptional flavor. We missed the blanket and pillow but we understand it's for everyone's safety. All precautionary measures were in place including temperature taken and sanitizer available for customers. read more

Unfortunately this theater came in short for me. The menu options are very basic in comparison to their competitor Cine Bistro. Nachos were very naked and bland. The truffle & Parmesan fries were disappointing; no truffle oil flavor whatsoever and the Parmesan cheese clearly was shelf powdered bought. When food arrived it was handed over to my party over the railings (trying to grab food over our little table that must be shared by neighboring seat and the railings made it very uncomfortable) and served COLD.
