Amazing little spot. Stumbled upon this place by accident and was very surprised to see it showing a short film I had been wanting to see. Will definitely be revisiting any time I'm in the area.

There are few things I love and appreciate more than a small independent movie theater. The Paradiso of Hollywood is as small time and independent as all of Broward has to offer. It rarely has more then a few people in the theater, when you walk by you can't tell it's really open, and it gets by through donations from the movie patrons of Fort Lauderdale area. It's a new theater so it doesn't have the grimyness and the earthy smells of an old theater. That's a plus or a minus depending on if you appreciate that vintage vibe. It does have small theater quirks though. Some extra small lobby is homey and has a stairs that leads to offices above the main teller spot. The bathrooms are behind the screen so you to the right of the screen to go there. And there is usually only one or two showings of only one or two movies. I was just her again the other day and had a great time. We ordered a couple glasses of wine late and they just comped 'em to us. I'm not big on the bathroom being right by the screen, and the acoustics aren't great, but I know I will be back as often as possible for one of the best little theaters around.

This is an old theater in between all the cool new restaurants. It is small and intimate. Love it. Saw Puzzle. Great movie. Interesting characters. Meandering plot. Lots of intense moments. Great evening with my the best friend of my life.

I love the theater. It reminds me of my favorite IFC theater in the village in NYC. To me the best date movies spot and or the place where you go so you can see the movie in an intimate place with little crowding so you can really appreciate it.

What a great little art house! This place is a non-profit and holds film festivals. Please support your local Indy cinema. There aren't enough of these places around anymore. Looking forward to going again.

If you have never checked out what this opera story is about, it is as chilling as any psychological thriller.

Looking back, I realized it's been a while since I've reviewed this place, and honestly I think…read moreiPic deserves its flowers. Every time we've visited, it's been a great experience. Now, full disclosure: I'm not a huge theatre person. I'd much rather be curled up on my couch than paying to periodically shush strangers. But iPic makes leaving my house worth it. The oversized recliners, cozy blankets, in-seat service, and a good movie? That's a solid date night. Now onto the important part. My biggest tip is to arrive 30 minutes before showtime so you're not trying to read the menu by flashlight once the previews start. Since we caught an afternoon showing, I wanted something a little lighter and ordered the Harvest Bowl, while hubby went with the bison burger and sweet potato fries. I treated myself to one Old Fashioned, and he kept it simple with a beer. Everything arrived before the movie started, which I always appreciate. Just be warned... once those lights go down, you're pretty much on your own trying to guide food from plate to mouth. I find it to be a fun challenge. The Harvest Bowl was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving with chickpeas, quinoa, avocado, and plenty of green. The sweet potato fries were good too. I would've loved a little more crisp on them, but let's be honest that's usually the trade-off with sweet potato. The portions were just right. Filling enough to enjoy without immediately falling asleep in those dangerously comfortable recliners. (Although... maybe skip the late-night showing if you're anything like me.) If you're looking for an easy date night with good food and a comfortable movie experience, iPic remains as my solid choice.

Very disappointing experience. I was charged an 18% gratuity, but it was not clearly disclosed to…read moreme at the time of payment. The theater claims there was a sign notifying customers about the gratuity, but the way it was displayed was misleading--the back of the sign was facing customers, while the side containing the gratuity information was not visible. The menu apparently had the information in fine print, but there was no clear explanation or reminder when I checked out that an 18% gratuity had been added. When I questioned the charge, I spoke with the manager, Christian. Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of clear disclosure, he blamed it "new ownership" and on "new policies" that he is required to follow. He also told me that the 8% tax was because the theater is considered part of the Beach, even though the location is in Eastern Shores. That explanation did not make the situation any more reassuring. Regardless of what the internal policy may be, customers deserve clear and upfront disclosure of mandatory charges before paying. An 18% gratuity is significant, and hiding it in fine print or displaying the notice in a way that customers cannot reasonably see is not good customer service. I left feeling that the theater was more interested in defending the charge than addressing a legitimate concern. If you visit, carefully review the menu and your bill for additional charges before paying.

Now it's 2026 and I'm still visiting this location. This theater is literally a mom and pops theater has no affiliation to AMC, Cinemark, or Regal which I love. This theater is literally out of my jurisdiction, but I try to make this location at least 6 times a year. Let's talk prices. A adult movie ticket will cost you $8.75 anytime during the week, but on Wednesday, tickets are $5 and you cannot beat that. The theater has an arcade area and games you play with a card, and you have to put money. Let's talk about the food. Flippers offer an extensive menu of food favorites, burgers, pizza, chicken wings, chicken tenders, hotdogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, etc. I can keep going, but I will never finish. They offer assigned seating. You can purchase tickets in person, online or on their Flipper's app. They also have a rewards program, and you can accumulate points towards free stuff. I love the fact that this theater is family oriented, it has games, arcades, great food and almost forgot to mention they serve alcohol also. Flippers also offers private theater rentals for adults and children. They have very reasonable prices if you want to host a party or event. I highly recommend this theater if in the area.
