I checked around. Got a couple two sided keys for an old van made here. 15 bucks out the door for two. Two or three places said they couldn't do it. One said they could but they gave us an outrageous price. read more

Contacting them to set up the appointment was a straightforward experience, and the technician they sent out was pleasant and professional. He did end up having to drill the safe, but he tried a lot of other stuff first, and was clearly familiar with the model. Conscientious about cleanliness as well. Good experience, would definitely work with them again. read more

With the amount of choices for Locksmith services in SD , I would stay far away the disrespect I received from their technician was shocking. read more

This place is amazing. I was trying to duplicate a key for my work and everywhere else I called was giving me a hard time and trying to charge me 100-200 bucks for a simple key. The electronic lock malfunctioned on my 1 1/2 year old Liberty safe. After contacting my safe manufacturer they sent out a locksmith to "crack" the lock. Jeff showed up from Grah and within two hours was able to open the safe without drilling through the external door. He was fantastic. Very pleased . read more

Other locksmith shops pointed me to Grah Safe and Lock. It was really my last resort. I was looking to copy a padlock key. No one else could do it. But Grah researched and graciously gave me two copies. Both of which worked. I was so relieved. I called to pay them, but they said just come back to us when you need something else. Such nice and helpful people. read more

My deadbolt stopped turning with the key I've always used (and every other key I own) and it's a very heavy duty deadbolt/ door lock handle combo that takes keys that only this location has ever been able to reproduce. I've owned my condo for 15 years and only come here to get my keys done since no one else knows what they're doing. I've been dreading trying to figure out how to fix this solution and figured I would need to buy a whole new locking mechanism and whole new locks for every lock in my condo. I ended up pulling apart the lock and bringing the whole thing in assuming I would have to buy a whole new system. I was greeted by Malik, he listened to my problem and said that it was me making copies of copies of overtime or the pins in the locking mechanism slowly wearing down overtime. After testing it, he told me that he thought the mechanism pins were old and needed to be replaced. He made a key to double check and confirmed that it was the pins within the deadbolt. He went ahead and handed me back my lock with new pins as well as gave me a new key. It was $20! I feel like if I had gone anywhere else they would've just told me that I need to buy a whole new system and not listen to the problem at hand. Malik was very knowledgeable and are took the time to listen to the problem that I had. I leave town today so I was super thankful that I had my lock fixed before I left town without having to worry about a huge expensive solution that would've probably taken longer than today to solve. I will continue to go here for all my lock issues moving forward as SHOULD YOU! read more

These guys are awesome! I needed a sliding door lock assembly for an almost 40 year old boat. Jeff was very helpful figuring out what could be done to update the assembly. Malik(sp?) changed out the goofy core and the door can be locked. I will use Grah again when needed. Thank you both for your help. read more

The staff are always really nice but absolutely No urgency whatsoever. Plan on being there for 30-45 minutes to make a couple keys. And I've had to go back x2 because those keys didn't work and then stand there another 45 minutes to get them rekeyed. read more

On 9-21-23, I decided to go to a local locksmith in Poway (Village Lock & Key) to support a local business. I had a minor issue involving 1 of 3 identical locks for my work cabinet. I had lost the original key and had another locksmith, Grah Safe & Lock, 20 miles away make new keys since I was in that particular area. I explained the problem to the Poway locksmith that I had with the lock & key, which was identical to 2 other locks on the same work cabinet. I made an attempt to show him the lock & key, however the worker appeared disinterested (A bit hesitant in approaching the front counter). He finally & reluctantly examined the lock & key and proceeded to tell me he couldn't help me because I didn't have the right key. I explained that the same key was for all 3 locks and the key opened the two other locks but that there was something wrong with the 3rd lock which I had brought in. The worker insisted that the problem was with the key and not the lock. He reiterated that I didn't have the correct key and said that the original locksmith who made the key (Grah Safe & Lock) did not do a good job. I left the Poway locksmith business frustrated, NOT with the minor repair issue involving the lock but with the overall customer experience. I decided to drive an extra 20 miles to revisit the original locksmith (Grah Safe & Lock) who had made new keys for my cabinet. According to my wife, the workers at Grah were super friendly & helpful and she was very happy with the overall service. After showing the friendly & attentive worker at Grah my lock, I was told the problem would be resolved in a couple hours. Turns out there was a very minor problem with the actual lock, NOT the key. A big plus: Since I had originally purchased keys from them, Grah Safe & Lock would NOT charge me for repairing the lock. Now THAT'S what I call customer service. Some businesses need to learn a thing or two from the really good ones... read more

Had a gate key with no markings/numbers that Ace (and everywhere else) said they couldn't copy- took it over to Grah, they said "it might be possible, let's try it", had it copied in 5 minutes... With the recent changes on our planet and things in general, I felt the need to add more layers of security in my home. I shopped other stores, even out of county. I didn't feel comfortable with the other people in the other businesses I entered- so I couldn't trust them in my home. I need a safe from somebody I can trus When I walked in to GS&L... I was greeted immediately, and helped by Sean? I want to say his name was Sean or Shane... he showed me the options and I got exactly what I wanted. The big guy with the glasses was cool too!! Very kind people. Also, knowing that they have been in business so long- that gave me confidence.... and I wanted to spend local. I have yet to receive my safe and have it installed, but feel so comfortable with the experience I'm throwing down the five stars now and will update. UPDATE.... Sean and Jesse came to my tiny home... and made my family safer. The install and delivery were no trouble at all- and very professionally done. They have the right equipment to do the job properly and safely (no pun intended). These guys know their stuff.. Management does not skimp on hiring. They hire real people that see you through- not a third party company that rolls it in and leaves it. A company like this is rare- they make your purchase an experience, and instill confidence in your decision. No buyers remorse here!!! I also have to mention Zach- even after I purchased the product, he reviewed the item with me and showed me options I did t even know. Grah's is the best - and they will receive my business in the future!! Thank you Grah's!!! Btw- check out some of the epic custom safes... a cool peek into history. Those safes could of held anything!! read more

We needed help with our mailbox lock after someone tried to break into it. Grah's dispatch was friendly and easy to work with to get service scheduled. The day of the service the technician called to give me a heads up he was on his way and he was right on time in the window we were given. He was very efficient and nice. We will definitely be using Grah again. read more

I have never opportunity to work with such non-professional oriented company ever. There technicians have lack of knowledge, but there hourly amount and prices for replacement parts are exceeding 200% from other professional companies. Not to tell you that I ordered 5 locks waited 7 weeks and get back non working locks because they did not re-keyed. When I called in they and ask for locks they hang on me. Run away and save your time and money. Privies owner was good business man but the new con, just using their name and provides really, really bad services. I`m happy camper with company just across from them. Thank you for help me open my eyes. read more

This seemingly drab hole in the wall had covered much of what you would need in locks and security. Their etiquette was on point and not too prying yet filled in a lot of what I needed for my bike lock. When we needed keys made, they were quick yet precise, their machines were top notch, and the operators were done in under four minutes. They even made it clear we would have money back guarantee for a month! The people here are experts in home and business security as long as it applies to locks of course. read more

I sent a picture of a safe that I was selling to Grah. They got back to me and said the safe looks great. We will pay you $600.00 and pick up the safe. I agreed to the amount and pickup. Also, I let them know the safe was heavy and on the second floor and needed to go down 1 flight of carpeted steps. They said fine, we do this all the time. On pickup day, they showed up with 2 movers who couldn't have weighed more than 150 lbs each. I showed them the safe and they immediately said they can't do it but will get backup and there would be no extra deductions off of the $600.00 price. They would get back to me. When inquiring when they would be back to pick up the safe, I was told that they will pick up the safe but will pay nothing for it now. I asked to have the owner call me back but did not happen. read more

I'm head of security at a High School here in San Diego. We have had 3 rather large and somewhat complicated projects in the last couple years (one was particularly tricky and just wrapped). These projects involved getting cameras up and running and set up for viewing. These guys were amazing. Had the pleasure of working with Zach and Noe and they bent over backwards to help us out. What's great about them is that they also "teach" you things that they're working on, which helps immensely. Outstanding work and tech help by these these 2 guys. Thanks GRAH. read more

They were so nice and helped me for free THANK YOU GRAH! I've never had such great service like that before

An extremely helpful and cheerful place. (All employees appropriately masked and distanced.) I was looking for a hard-to-find lock latch for a simplex lock: they had it. I was hung up by an unexpected delay with another really good locksmith (no fault of his own) to install a simplex gate lock, and while Grah couldn't install it that day, they would prep the gate lock for me for installation, in their shop, no charge. Which they did, even through a hiccup that would have stalled me. Self-installation was a snap and the lock worked like a charm. Thanks to the boss lady, Sean, Aaron, and Zach!!!!! read more
