Everyone I know loves Graeter's. Especially my mom. Every year, she has a list for me to bring back some goodies to Georgia (my hometown) . My dad loves the butterbit rolls. So I make sure to stock up on those. Okay... I thought the location in Kenwood was big! Nope! This location is bigger. They have a drive thru, outdoor seating, playland for children, and the inside is VERY spacious with plenty of seating. I am on the rewards program so every year I get a free ice cream for my birthday. I get the 1870 Tower sundae (brownie, black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, and whipped cream topped with cherry). It's so good! They have a bakery section, ice cream to go, cookies, cake candies, pup ice cream, bread, gifts, and more! I'll always be a Graeter's fan. Homemade hand dipped ice cream is the way to go! First time at this location, and it's way bigger than the others I've been to. There's a kiddy play area, a bakery, lots of merchandise to purchase ( hats, shirts, candy, papyrus greeting cards, etc). The employees were great ( we made 4 different purchases). They are having a promotion right now: MLB helmet sundaes, which is awesome as we are collecting them from all the stadiums. I got the black raspberry chocolate chip sundae: the entire thing was AMAZING!!! Incredible flavor, very creamy and full of large dark chocolate pieces . It was quite filling. I honestly can't say I've ever had a bad experience at any Graeter's location. The service is always great, the atmosphere laid back, and of course the ice crean is delicious. This location is possibly the biggest one I've ever visited. So much to offer! There's all the usual plethora of ice cream options along with baked goods, cakes, pies, cookies, chocolates, ice cream for dogs, candies, and lots more. There's even a kid's play area and a room for private parties. For this trip, my lady and I split a 1870 Tower sundae (join their birthday rewards program to get one free every year of your birthday). It's ice cream, so not much to complain about. They have a nice variety of other snacks and treats to choose from as well as pints to take home. This is a place the in-laws enjoy coming for a sweet treat. We noticed the lines can get pretty big for drive-thru, which says something. I don't have a sweet tooth, but I'm always down for ice cream. Graeters is a pretty cool ice cream company because it has really good quality ice cream and unique flavors. We came here after dinner and it was quite busy and totally forgot it was Halloween weekend. Love that the employees dressed as the cast of top gun lol. Anywho I ordered the toffee chip ice cream and that was actually very good. My husband ordered some bourbon ice cream and definitely tasted like bourbon which he thought was very unique. Wonderful staff and delicious ice cream that never disappoints! Even though the drive through line was backed up onto 125, we saw that the car line went by quickly. We decided to go inside and the line wasn't too long, there was barely any wait and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It was busy on a Sunday evening at 8pm and everyone was helped in a timely manner. Lots of people inside, but not overcrowded. We got the birthday cake ice cream and Oregon strawberry ice cream on a waffle cone, the 1870 sundae, and a scoop of cookie dough ice cream in a cup. All were great flavors. This place has gone down hill. A previous staple of my childhood has been ruined by laziness and pure stupidity. nobody here is good at their job. I waited in a line for 15 minutes only to receive a peanut butter ice cream. I am allergic. I asked for banana choc chip. If I were far more allergic, I would have died. Please retrain staff. Graeter's is a favorite of our family living in Ohio. I am lactose intolerant and have been for years, so have never eaten it myself before this last visit. They came out with a few dairy free flavors, sold only in pints. Excited to join in on the much touted deliciousness, I got a pint of the black raspberry chocolate chip. This is the flavor my family members claim is the best. The chocolate chips were smooth and delicious. The texture of the ice cream was also smooth and creamy, but I was disappointed in how mild the raspberry flavor was. It was more like a hint of raspberry. The rest of the family had scoops of various flavors and enjoyed theirs tremendously, so I think Graeter's just missed the mark on the dairy free flavor that I tried. The shop was very clean. Service was great, and there were lots of tables for sitting and enjoying your ice cream. I would try it again, but get a different flavor next time. read more

Newly expanded and remodeled, this is probably the biggest location in greater Cincy! They offer so much here! First and foremost there is the delicious ice creams and sorbets. They have flavors always on the menu and then monthly specials as well. Ask for samples if you aren't sure what to get! Secondly they have an expansive bakery with coffee which also includes chocolates. I rarely purchase anything from the bakery as they get picked over early in the day. For your eating enjoyment there are seats inside the main area, a front patio, a back patio, and an area outside the play center with tables. THE INDOOR PLAY CENTER is new with plenty of fun for the smaller kids. This location also has a drive Thru. While they always appear super busy, there is plenty of parking and enough friendly staff to be very efficient! They keep it clean too! read more

There's just not a lot of places to take your kiddos around here. Socks are required and they pay close attention to this. You can purchase your own for $1 if you forget. All the structures are ice cream related and so adorable. The new lobby is quite nice, too! With a ton more seating than before. Everything is clean and modern, they did a great job! A local restaurant suggested that i visit Graeter's after my meal, and I could not be more thankful! Located on Beechmont Avenue, this location has a lot of on-site, dedicated parking. Terrific greeters and a wonderful atmosphere, liked it from the moment I entered the building. Clean, friendly, good family experience I'm sure. I had the pleasure of enjoying a scoop of the Salted Caramel (that you can also get with their famous chocolate chips) ice cream and scoop of Brown Sugar Bourbon Pecan. It was delish! Ice cream is what is expected from Graeter's. Innovative flavors, creamy, and premium ice cream. Even their sorbet has a richer mouth feel. Selection is large. Black raspberry chip is their signature flavor. There are always several seasonal flavors. Some of these flavors stay for the whole season, others are only available for a month or two. Like other locations, a bakery is also present. I generally find Graeter's baked goods too sweet, so when I come it is for the ice cream. What sets this location apart from other locations is it has a play place. Yep, a whole inside play area. Seperate seating is available near the play area. Differentiating the two areas was a stroke of genius on the part of Graeter's. This way, the sounds of playing children do not fill the entire establishment. From hot and humid summers, and cold dreary winters, this play area makes Graeter's a go to destination year round. read more

My wife and I have been to Graeter's three times in the past three weeks, and because of the free cones from signing up for their app, and a free sundae for my wife's birthday, we've gotten five helpings of ice cream and only had to pay for two! They are obviously a little pricier than dairy queen, but that's what allows people to get free ice cream like we did. The extra cost is also very apparent in the quality of the ice cream. Their flavors don't taste artificial, and you can easily tell what each kind is supposed to be with just a little taste. Which brings me to the fact that you can try as many flavors as you want before buying anything. My wife and I each try two to four flavors each time, so that eventually we'll have tasted them all and know what's best. But honestly, they're all really good. We've each probably tried ten to fifteen flavors at this point, but there are still tons more to try in the future, as their menu has a large selection. Which makes coming back each time more exciting. I'm not even a huge lover of ice cream (I know), but Graeter's makes me want to get a cone on the way home every week or so. The brown bourbon butter pecan has to be the best flavor. It is rich, sweet, salty, and all around delightful. The blueberry pie is also delicious, with pieces of pie rust and blueberries that taste real. My local Graeter's scoop shop is da bomb. Customer service is always five stars - every time I stop by. This location even has a drive-thru (which I've actually never used) but is pretty clutch for most of their patrons. I love coming here on holidays and picking up a box of their chocolates or seasonal goodies for my family members, especially those who don't live in Cincinnati. Some of my families favorites are the turtles, Cherry cordials, Buckeyes and their assorted chocolate boxes. But where it's obviously at when you go to a Graeter's store is their ice cream. Their obvious most popular flavor is the black raspberry chip which I'm gonna be honest, is not one I ever order. I'm always reaching for a cookies and cream or cookie dough (usually i get a scoop of each) or I pick up a pint. They have not only all their pint flavors here but they also have ice cream cakes too! Oh and of course you can't forget about their bakery. They have donuts, danishs, cookies and of their famous cheese crowns always stocked and fresh to eat. Awww, this poor Graeter's. It's the closest to my house but probably my least favorite location. My favorite one is on Ludlow, and I really like the ones on Fountain Square and in Hyde Park. Obviously Anderson's Graeter's is going to be the ugliest location-wise. But I also don't know if it's because Anderson hires primarily high school students, but bless their hearts they cannot get a drive-thru order correct for anything. Graeter's is always delicious, you can't have bad Graeter's, and the employees that work at this Graeter's are always tirelessly friendly. BUT DAYUMMM without fail they ALWAYS drop the ball on a drive-thru order. Again because the view sucks we always get our sugar bombs to go, and it's annoying that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We come home and open the bag to see mistakes like the following (don't judge. We love ice cream and don't deprive ourselves when the cravings hit): sundaes specified with Raspberry Chip and instead it has vanilla (VANILLA! WHO ORDERS PLAIN VAILLA ICE CREAM AT GRAETERS?!). No hot fudge sauce on Cookie Monsters. Nuts when we specified no nuts. Or if they get the no-nuts (that sounds funny) right, then they also exclude the whipped cream and I WANT THE WHIPPED CREAM. A hot fudge brownie sundae with no brownie. Again, the staff are very nice and Graeter's always serves up a top-notch product, and it's not an entirely apples-to-apples comparison because my other favorite locations don't have drive-thrus and the mistakes seem to be specific to the drive-thru orders. However, when you are paying almost $20 for 3 ice cream treats, that's a lot of money and warrants better attention to detail than we incessantly get at Anderson. read more

Hands down this ice cream is the best around Cincinnati. Graeter's ice cream is so smooth and you can see and taste the difference from the mass produced automated facilities. The ingredients are not all processed down to tiny little bits so in a chocolate chip ice cream you sometimes find a nugget of chocolate or in the Ohio State buckeye a large piece of peanut butter with chocolate. So delicious and creamy no big ice crystals very smooth. You can definitely see, taste, and feel the difference with your mouth. Highly recommend this ice cream and you should definitely go to a Graeter's store not only can you get your ice cream treats made to order, they also make candy and Bakery items as well read more
