Gracenote is easily one of the best coffee shops in Boston when it comes to pure coffee quality. They have their own roastery! I had a cortado, and it was absolutely delicious -- balanced, smooth, and dialed in perfectly. If you care about flavor and craftsmanship in the cup, this place delivers every time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A quick note: the shop itself is small, with some standing room but no chairs or tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a spot to study or work from -- it's a grab-your-coffee-and-go kind of place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But for the coffee alone? Completely worth the five stars.

I didn't get a picture of my drink (Americano), but I got some pictures of the beans they sell. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a cute hole in the wall shop and I would love to visit again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The baristas were very kind and helpful.

Worst coffee I have ever had in my life. Bland and lacked flavor. Honestly after one sip I had to give it to my husband because drinking it made me so mad and devoid of joy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is small but cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is quick. Do not recommend nut milk. Our friends also ordered drinks - the miso one and mocha one with regular milk, both of which they too did not like. Sad that this place had so much potential but was a letdown.

I visited Gracenote Coffee Roasters yesterday and had such a great experience! The coffee was really good -- smooth, rich, and full of flavor. I was waiting outside with my dog, Pooky, and the staff kindly told me we could bring him inside. They were so nice and welcoming, which made my day! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a great cup of coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really appreciate that they're dog-friendly -- it made the visit even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend this place if you love good coffee and kind people!

This is one of my new favorite to-go coffee shops in the city. The barista are super friendly and make some delicious drinks. This time around I got the Flannel latte and it was super rich, creamy, and sweet all while not overpowering the coffee. They also sell whole beans that you can enjoy at home (they're my boyfriend's favorite). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just a heads up, seating is extremely limited so I would expect to take your drink to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Seltzer, espresso, chocolate-chip cookie. Perfect.

Gracenote has the best coffee in Boston, and a small, curated selection of pastries. I've been there many times over the years, and returned today for the first time in a long while. I'm happy to see that they still make perfect espresso. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's still the cutest little shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff are still friendly and knowledgeable. I hope they remain in the neighborhood forever; they're a gem.

Came across Gracenote as a highly reviewed coffee shop in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the look of it and the mod bar machine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My coffee was delicious and the miso caramel was a new taste to me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Giving it one less star because there was no place to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is definitely more of a grab and go type of shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Visitors be warned that there is absolutely zero seating and is an order and go sort of situation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But there is seating across the street or across the road in the park.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband ordered the cardamom latte with house made cashew milk and I ordered the Hawaii Five Ow, a seasonal drink. The cardamom latte was interesting and had a strong spice flavor, almost bitter. The Hawaii Five Ow is a spicy pineapple drink with house made spicy limeade that gave it a tiny kick. It was very sweet but refreshing and tasty.

The miso caramel latte is a 10/10. If you are a matcha person, skip it here..low quality and pretty terrible honestly. Come here for the coffee/espresso based drinks as that's the focus and they do it incredibly well.

This cafe kind of blends in with other buildings nearby but this cafe is a great find! It is small inside with minimal seating so it is more of a grab and go situation. The service is great and they definitely make your drink with care. I got a regular iced matcha with oat milk (they don't have almond milk) and a regular iced coffee. Their matcha is so yummy and rich and it has a good sweetness to it already. The iced coffee is definitely strong and fresh and they have a self service area for you to add in sugar as you like it. Overall, I had a great first experience here. This place has amazing quality drinks.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place was so cute and relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was super friendly. There were a lot of fun flavors. I got a matcha latte and it just didn't hit for me. But the ham and cheese croissant hit the spot.

    Maple and allspice latte.

After an arrival to South Station, we took our luggage and ourselves over to Gracenote just a few blocks away. I read online this hidden gem was worth the visit, and out of all the coffee shops we dabbled in throughout our Boston trip, Gracenote was it. The shop's aesthetic gave me hipster, artistic vibes. It's a small space with a defined feel. I came back for a second cup of coffee when we were heading back to South Station for departure. The maple and allspice seasonal latte is literal perfection. The baristas on both occasions were great. We were also offered a printed and pocket-sized card of things to do in Boston, which was immensely helpful.

Wait time was about 15 min, which they tell you as soon as you order. The wait was well worth it. I got a hot hojicha latte and it is one of the best I have tried. It was only after I left that I realized this cafe actually originates from Kyoto. I cannot wait to come back to try more things on the menu the next time I am in Boston. Would recommend this spot to anyone.

We walked into a space that mixes communal tables, stadium-style seating, and smaller spots to sit, making it a place where you can stop in for a quick drink or stay longer with a laptop. The interior design is one of the biggest highlights, giving the cafe a more elevated experience compared to a typical coffee shop. The tiered seating in particular creates a visual dynamic that makes the room feel more intentional than your standard coffee counter. The drinks are the main focus here, especially the matcha, hojicha, and espresso-based options. We ordered the hojicha latte, which was one of the strongest items on the menu, with a deep roasted flavor and a smooth texture. The matcha has a more traditional earthy profile and leans less sweet, which works well if you prefer a more authentic matcha taste. The drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality of the ingredients and preparation make it feel more like a specialty cafe experience rather than a standard coffee stop. The food and dessert options add another reason to visit, with items like the egg sandwich, quiche, macarons, and hojicha desserts available depending on the day. The menu is smaller compared to a full brunch cafe, but it pairs well with the drinks and gives the visit more of a cafe-and-pastry feel. Service is friendly and the staff are knowledgeable about the drinks, which helps when choosing between the different Japanese tea options. The cafe can get busy, and seating is limited compared to the number of people who come through, but the layout gives it a unique character. Ogawa Coffee works well for specialty coffee and tea lovers looking for a more intentional cafe experience in Boston, especially if you enjoy Japanese-style drinks and a thoughtfully designed space.

The wait was so long and they clearly haven't figured out the balance between managing online and in person orders. An additional person is needed to simply take the orders in house. The person they had on deck this morning was frantically trying to take orders and move food from the kitchen to the online pick up area. Three people making drinks and still backed up making what should have been a relaxing morning tense and unpleasant. I want to be clear that every person I saw was doing their best to make things work and this is a systems issue. I like this place and I offer these comments to encourage them to look at their system and find ways to improve.

We were welcomed in and helped super quickly despite being almost closing time, and still got to enjoy some fresh-made, delicious drinks.
