I've eyed Recreo for a while and stopped in with a friend to visit, and we were so impressed! We got a pumpkin latte and a lavender matcha, the latter of which is on their summer menu. They knocked both out of the park - so flavorful and delicious! We both tend to prefer sweeter drinks, but we had a perfect balance of flavor with our coffee/matcha. My friend also got a mixed berry scone, which was solid as well but he found it to be a little dry. I would definitely look forward to trying a pastry in the future - I was eyeing their cookies, but wasn't feeling it that morning. I am so happy I live so close and will definitely be back! The baristas were all so kind and personable - in addition to making great drinks, they truly connected with each customer and everyone seemed so happy to be there. We sat inside with all the pollen outside, but the outdoor patio nearby was ADORABLE. Makes sense that it was full when we got there!

I always pick up a bag or two each time I visit and make espresso and pour over at home. They have a fantastic mocha/Dutch brew and good pour over. Go pick yourself up a few bags and enjoy the coffee ride.

I dropped the machine off, and asked the repairman how long I would have to drink instant coffee. He smiled and said he would give me a call when it was ready. In 48 hours it was ready for pick-up. He also said the if I could wait an extra day, he could replace the badly worn group gasket, but that he had to get one locally since he was out of stock. I was ecstatic to get the machine the next day. They put it in my car, and included a small zip-lock bag with the old thermostat and gasket. Exceptional service!

Smooth and not overly acidic, both the cold brew and the latte had some wonderful flavor notes and the beans didn't taste burnt. You can tell that Karma is roasting beans right. I sat down on the wall steps (not sure of the correct name) while I waited. I was in awe when I saw the latte art. Small cafe but has choices of seating options to sit. There's tables with chairs, a bar seating to the back and the wall steps. I noticed someone ahead of me in the line brought her own reusable tumbler and I like that the cafe supports sustainability in that way. I didn't see whether they made her drink order in the tumbler or they made it first then poured it into her tumbler. Anyway, good to know if you like to reduce waste.
