Absolutely disgusted with my experience at Dallas BBQ in Jamaica, Queens. The service was horrible…read morefrom start to finish. Our server, Patricio, came once to take the order and basically disappeared for the rest of the night. Drinks were dropped off, then a food runner brought the food, but nobody ever checked on the table again. We had to sit there with no extra napkins, no share plates, and no table touch whatsoever. To make matters even worse, there were ROACHES. Not one... but multiple. We personally saw two roaches near our table, and the table next to us literally asked to be moved because they were also dealing with roaches on their side. That is beyond unacceptable and honestly a health concern. Meanwhile, there were dirty tables sitting around, servers standing around chatting, and the entire restaurant felt filthy and poorly managed. Even the bathroom smelled terrible. What really irritated me was that after providing almost no service, Patricio still circled and hinted toward a tip on the receipt. Tipping is supposed to reflect good service, not guilt or pressure after neglecting your table the entire night. I told my partner not to leave a tip because honestly the service did not deserve one, but he felt bad and still tipped anyway. I usually LOVE Dallas BBQ, especially the Upper East Side location, but this Jamaica location is an absolute disaster. Clean the place up. Nobody should be paying to eat in a dirty, roach-filled restaurant with inattentive staff. I will never come back to this hole in the wall again. I also have videos/photos of the bugs and receipt from the visit.

The prices are a bit on the steep side but you're getting quality. Call in advance for large parties as their dining room is tiny. Like 10-15 tables tiny. Our party of seven luckily had to wait a few minutes but otherwise it was quick! Edit - I feel the need to disclose a few things. 1. The server recommended a smoked rack of lamb. Did not disclose the price normally I don't balk at prices but the cost of the lamb was $258.42 which is exorbitantly high. The server had a responsibility to disclose the price especially if it's that high. Just because we did not ask does not mean it's okay to just charge it. For reference 3 lamb chops was $80.00. The plate shown in my pictures most certainly did not contain 9 lamb chops. I would have been better off ordering 3 full entrees instead of the entire rack. 2. The restaurant never disclosed a "large party" fee. Sure its customary to have automatic gratuity applied to a party of "xyz or more" but to charge 20% for a large party ( 3 kids 4 adults) and then top off the 18% gratuity is absolutely poor taste. The fee was never disclosed, nor was it posted anywhere. These two reasons will more than likely prohibit me from returning. I wish them well in their future endeavors but to pull these types of business practices you will certainly run into future issues.

As we waited on our food he came over to our table for a good 15 minutes talking about going into e-commerce and baiting us to try whatever financial commerce stuff he does. The entire time he completely ignored the ladies at our table and only acknowledged the men sitting there. Later he brought out the plate because we ended up getting the chiefs platter (most expensive item on menu) and it was SMALL all of the sides were EXTREMELY small and we couldn't even substitute certain meats we wanted in our meal. He came back later to talk again and took out his vape to smoke in front of us. Once our $400 bill was brought to us (he didn't even tell us about INCLUDED gratitude in check) he was hesitant to even give back our change from our payment. Lastly, when we asked to use the bathroom we had to go THROUGH THE KITCHEN to use the bathroom in the back. The food was decent but the hospitality was terrible and unprofessional. Way too overpriced and embarrassing even. Our servers name was Josh btw.
