This was my second visit here. I was roaming around looking for a brunch spot after an early morning, and the menu caught my attention. The service was quick and the staff were super sweet. There is a display case of baked goods I forgot to catch, and I'm going to recommend the apple Danish - delicious. I think this place is really good for breakfast food if you want something that's a little more elevated than your typical grab-and-go. Definitely will come back the next time I'm out and about for something yummy.
This place is very cute!! They have so many food choices both savory and sweet that it was hard to choose from. I ultimately chose the wrap and was very glad i did! The cheesy hashbrown bites too were phenomenal! I wasn't the hugest fan of the matcha, but I think it was the vanilla syrup that I didn't particularly like. I will be back to try some pastries!
I love this place!!! It's so beautiful inside and everything I have tried has been absolutely delicious!
This place is great! We went pretty early and were the only ones there. Bright, spacious, murals in the wall, definitely a very instagrammable spot! The hangover Benedict with cheesy hashbrown bites was delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient.
We need an early morning coffee and food fix, and that can be difficult to find in downtown Milwaukee. After some research, we came across Grace coffee and we thought it sounded like a good fit. We were blown away! The coffee is great. The service is top notch. The food is phenomenal. What more could you want? From the moment we walked in the front door we were greeted by a kind server and a welcoming and chic ambiance. The menu was accessible and there was plenty of seating, both indoors and outside. We were in need of substantial sustenance along with our coffee and Grace Coffee seemed like the best bet. We were correct. Our cold brew was deliciously flavorful and caffeinated. We each got croissant breakfast sandwiches and they were so delicious. And they were substantial. So many places give you tiny sandwiches for expensive prices, but not Grace Coffee! They gave us substantial and delicious sandwiches for a reasonable price. We loved every bite! The sides were also a key feature. I wanted something healthy, so the mixed green salad was the perfect side. My husband wanted something even more substantial, so he LOVED the cheese filled hash brown balls. We were both so so happy with our choices! After one morning visit, Grace Coffee has won our hearts as the best spot downtown for early morning coffee and substantial food options. We can't wait to visit again next time!
We wanted to go somewhere that had good coffee but also a place we can get a quick bite. I ordered a white chocolate latte, and their breakfast burrito with bacon. The fried hash browns were very good, just needed some sauce which is why I got the chipotle aioli. Lots of seating available and was not busy at all. I would definitely come back.
Loved this stop for coffee early on a Saturday morning. Our group also chose to indulge in breakfast... SO so good. Friendly staff, just a nice environment- lovely decorated. Comfy tables and chairs - all around awesome experience.... Oh! And the coffee was loved by all.
Yay! Grace now has outside seating (a few tables). Also, I tried their order online for pickup option and had no issues. Good coffee indeed!
Great food, friendly staff, great vibes. Perfect place to get a quick bite with friends or to stay and study/read. Will definitely be coming back
Date of visit: October 20, 2024 We came here with some friends for our monthly coffee date and was pleasantly surprised with many aspects of Grace Coffee. Staff was friendly and the menu was surprisingly large and varied--without being at the level of Cheesecake Factory and you can't possibly decide! My breakfast quesadilla was pretty good; the gravy was really where the flavor was and once the gravy was all gone, the dish was pretty meh. I would highly recommend the Everything Bagel Sandwich, though. I finished my husband's several days later and it was wonderful. I cannot fathom how good it would have been when it was fresh. My coffee drink was a bit underwhelming, though I appreciated the artistry atop the drink. Also odd is the cart for bussing your own table, located directly next to the door, an odd placement for a restaurant that is essentially a rectangle. All in all, would definitely come back here for another crack at that Everything Bagel Samich!
Grace Coffee was great! I greatly enjoyed stopping here on a nice sunny day and grabbing a coffee. I couldn't resist the almond croissant and I'm so glad I got one, it was delicious! The staff/barista was nice and the coffee shop was a perfect spot for a wfh or reading date! I will definitely be back!
It's such a cute place! I haven't had their food but their coffee is good. I like their matcha latte. Inside is decorated nicely.
This was my second visit here, and it was a definite improvement over the first, which had been overshadowed by a disappointing scone. This time I ordered one of their almond croissants, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. They also make a very good London Fog. It was rich and creamy, with great flavor, and served at the perfect temperature for me, about 140°F. The rest of the experience was equally enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was clean, reasonably quiet, well lit, and featured an upscale interior design. This is definitely a place I'd like to return to. read more

Grace coffee has a super cute interior with lots of photo worthy spots. We stopped by late in the day and the pastry options were pretty light with nothing for those with allergens. The barista was nice and my drink was made correctly. I ordered a London Fog and did enjoy it. I would have tried something else if they made their own syrups but they do not. They use Monin syrups. I would go back as it's a cute spot and nice location, but wouldn't go out of my way. read more

Food was good and big portions. We got the acai bowl and the advocado toast. Matcha was good too, although a bit sweet even half sweet, so if you don't like sweet drinks, I'd recommend getting no sweetness. Lots of places to sit, and nice staff. read more

I appreciate the aesthetic of this cafe though it isn't much my style. The latte was pretty decent. The service was probably the best part; I asked if I they used mugs (because I wanted one) and the worker offered to let me use one thought they don't usually do mugs on weekends. Everyone was very kind. As for seating, there was plenty but it was a big unorganized and hard to find a spot for just myself. I also don't like how there are no available outlets to what I can see so it's hard to do homework here. Overall though, I had a great experience. read more

Grace has a beautiful location right on the river with beautiful decor and some insta-worthy photo opps. When I met up with a friend for coffee on a Friday morning and there was plenty of seating and a short wait for my yummy special mocha. I can't remember the name, but it was a seasonal special with raspberries and edible glitter! I would definitely come back and enjoy some caffeine in a lovely location again. read more

Came here on a recent Saturday morning--what a cute spot! They have a robust food menu (for a coffee shop) as well as an array of coffee beverages. I ordered their mocha made with almond milk (lovely) and their street corn avo toast (good!). Our server was delightful and the coffee was smooth and flavorful. My husband got their hot honey latte, which I tried and it was also delicious. The interior offers plenty of seating a a bright and colorful (bright flowers painted on the walls!) environment. The prices are some of the steepest I've come across in the Milwaukee area ($70+ after tip for a small, coffee house breakfast and 12 ounce beverages for three people). Aside from that--a good first experience! Get to it! read more
Met a longtime friend for brunch at Grace Coffee, I've heard great things about this spot and I was very excited to try. First off, it's adorable! Such a cute vibe for a coffee spot and in a great location! I got a hot honey latte which was really good, spicy as well as hot (and I appreciate the barista for pointing that out when I ordered cause I'm sure it could fool people). My friend and I both ordered the breakfast wrap and couldn't say enough good things about it - we both especially liked the cheesy hashbrown bites. I should also mention that the food came out QUICK - for being a busy Saturday morning I was very pleasantly surprised. The friend I met was visiting from LA and she was so impressed with the coffee/food that she went back again a few days later! read more

We were looking for a new breakfast joint and wanted something casual and found Grace Coffee Company. I feel like it's new because this place should be packed with how good the food is and how tasty the pastry's look. I got a matcha to start with and it was great. Perfectly smooth and they have true baristas that make a little design. I got the Everything Croissant Sandwich with sausage and cheesy hashbrown bites. The hashbrown bites were so good. They were warm and super cheesy. The sandwich was just as good. Warning though the thing is huge so I ate half and saved the other half for later. The spicy aioli is a must for the sandwich. Overall I will be returning especially for a pasty item. The inside was super clean and chic and the chairs were super comfy. The service was friendly and fast so you can beat a quality place like this. read more
Another hipster coffee shop in MKE! With so many great local coffee shops in the third ward / downtown area already, Grace is here not just offering coffee drinks but a variety of house-made pastries and a full breakfast and brunch food menu. I think their position here could be first a community coffee shop then a MKE coffee & gathering spot to be successful on its own. We had their coffee in the old Madison location before and were excited to come visit this new location on their first day of opening! Everyone was friendly and worked efficiently in a team. They are good at espresso based drinks with beans roasted at their own facility. The lattes all come with latte arts that are poured all the way to the top and taste warm, smooth and rich. Really enjoyable. The drip coffee is ok - nothing really to complain. The pastries and food are good as a coffee shop. It's good for anyone who wants to stay for longer. read more
Grace is so cute!! The vibes are like upscale coffee shop but you can also stop by and grab something quick to go. The pastries all look amazing! The coffee was nice and smooth. The breakfast sandwich was great with the crispy and flaky croissant with everything but the bagel seasoning on top. The hashbrowns were absolutely the best thing I ordered. They were crispy on the outside and soft/cheesy on the inside. My husband got the pancakes and loved them as well! I'd recommend trying it! read more
A very cute brunch spot/coffee shop in the historic third ward district. Loved the ambiance and the coffee was great! I over ordered so I could try multiple things let's start with the good... the egg sandwich on the everything croissant: while the egg and veggies themselves where much larger than the croissant itself once I got past that portion and I got to taste the marrying of the flavors and different elements all in one bite I found the magic. It was truly delicious and for $14 a great deal (at least compared to Detroit food prices that might have been 17-20). The French toast however left some things to be desired. I felt like the French toast itself lacked flavor it was too thick and so the berry to syrup to bread ratio was just off for me. Even when I took it one layer at a time by the time I finished half of the first French toast I was out of berries. Overall I was very impressed and will be back often probably if not for the coffee then to try the egg and veggie meddly in its different forms (wrap, sandwich, quesadilla). read more

We are greeted very promptly and taken care of very quickly! We are not from the area and the barista never made us feel pressured and offered suggestions when we ask. Their food menu is absolutely amazing for brunch and their coffee is great. The atmosphere in here is so fun and colorful! read more
This was my first time in at Grace Coffee, which is apparently a chain that we were lucky enough to have come over from Madison. We walked here after yoga, but as far as I could tell it looked like street parking only. It is gorgeously green inside and the staff was very nice! They are a casual cafe where you order up at the counter, find your own table, and grab a buzzer if you order food. I opted for a cappuccino for there instead of a takeaway cup, because I love the art they do on top and it's also nice to prevent extra waste. I was a little disappointed the "cup" sized açaí came in a literal plastic cup, but I suppose that's convenient if you're trying to grab something to-go. I just go the traditional option and really enjoyed their house made granola, but it was clear that the berries they had were all frozen. read more

New, trendy coffee spot with delicious lattes! I love that they have real mugs for dine-in. I also had the street corn avocado toast (forgot to take a picture) - SO good. I added the egg over easy, which I'd highly recommend! The staff was also super nice! You have to go up to the counter to order, but you get a buzzer when it's done. Check it out! read more
Super cute coffee shop in the heart of the 3rd Ward. Cute, comfortable seating and a nice photo op! We didn't try a bakery item but the selection looked good. I had an acai bowl that was absolutely delicious - one of the better ones I've had! My husband had a miel latte and that was really good. Not too sweet, nice hint of cinnamon. I was disappointed that they don't make in-house syrups like a lot of local Milwaukee coffee shops. Service was helpful, fast and friendly. read more
I have been here twice now. First time was a Saturday morning around 10:15. We had reservations at a different place and walked to get some coffee while we waited and stumbled on Grace. We went in. Saw a good amount of seating, pastries and a breakfast menu! We decided to stay here and cancel our waitlist reservation at the other place. We came with a small group. We all ordered coffees and breakfast. The staff was super nice and welcoming. We did let them know more of our friends were joining and didn't want to over whelm them with a rush. They didn't flinch! So welcoming! Everything came out pretty quickly. I got a breakfast wrap. Between the friends and I we ordered a good amount. Someone got the French toast...so good! It's not pictured but it was good! Came back with my kids and husband one cold morning. We did get there right when it opened and that person was solo up front so everything took a little longer but she handled it so well! read more

I am a sucker for a good coffee shop and this one definitely hits all the necessities. Parking can be tough on a Saturday morning but once you find a spot you will not be disappointed as this place has some great coffee and great seating with access to outlets to get some work done. You may want headphones because it can get a little noisy. The service is great even when they are busy they keep things moving along. I also enjoyed trying their special creations for the holiday and I recommend. read more
So excited Grace has finally opened in the Third Ward! I love having a new spot to add to my coffee rotation. First time trying and was already impressed. They have a sizable food menu with plenty of options, as well as a bakery case. I opted for a breakfast sandwich with a side of cheesy hash brown balls (SO good) and an iced vanilla latte. Both were delicious. The shop itself has a great ambiance and feels very warm and inviting. There is a good amount of seating as well and we had no issues finding somewhere to sit while we enjoyed our food. Definitely recommend trying out! read more
