The Coffee & Love Nuts was more rich and creamy with some nutty crunch. Definitely a lot of unique flavors to try out if you are looking for something adventurous! They were very knowledgeable about the flavors. We end up choosing the trio sampler which gives you a good scoop of three different flavors. The mango sticky rice was a little on the sweet side. But overall everything was good. I will be back to try different flavors.

There are about 4 window seats inside but that's it. For my first visit here, I ordered their Vietnamese Rocky Road(contains brownie bites, marshmallows, and walnuts, combined with Vietnamese coffee and sweetened condensed milk). This combination tasted like it sounds and it was solid, but not spectacular. They do have some other interesting, non-traditional flavors here you wouldn't see at Baskin-Robbins. Staff looks to be mostly college students and they did the job well enough.

We ordered three things; mint chocolate chip, rose, and milk and cereal. All with a bubble waffle cone. The service was disappointing, the guy who worked there seemed like he didn't care and it was just another job. No life to him and was just rude about asking the code for the bathroom. The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.

At first I thought we had definitely come way too early, but by around 8:15 pm, cars were already starting to line up behind us. By 8:30, there were at least eight cars waiting, so showing up early ended up being worth it. They actually opened a little ahead of schedule around 8:45 and came out to take our order. We ordered a dozen donuts with 10 Blueberry and 2 Oreo. They make the donuts fresh to order, so the process does take some time, but WOW, it is worth the wait. The Blueberry Donuts were amazing. They came out incredibly fresh and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The Oreo was really good too, but definitely more dessert-like and a great option if you want something richer and sweeter. I've seen quite a few reviews complain about the wait, and I completely understand that it won't be worth it for everyone. Personally, though, I appreciate that they're making the donuts fresh to order and aren't sacrificing that freshness just to move the line faster. The wait is part of what you should expect when coming here, so I'd just plan accordingly. Overall, M&M Donuts absolutely lived up to the hype and is easily one of the best donut spots I've tried in OC. Be prepared to wait, but for me, the freshness and quality of the donuts make it completely worth it.
