Long waiting line with no host in site for about 10 mins. Once the host came around, she looked very stress and really didn't want to attend all of us. I felt uncomfortable to even ask for something because she was so distracted and in a hurry. Her customer service was very poor and the wait for our food was long. But the servers were very polite. read more

Management needs to think about how understaffed this place is! The servers are kind enough, but you can tell they're juggling a ton. I have ordered take out from this place twice, and both times it has been a struggle to get the attention of any of the 2-4 people behind the bar. The yellow curry here is awful! I rarely throw out food, but I had to trash their yellow curry. Really unfortunate. Other dishes are okay, not great. I would come here for drinks on a slow night, maybe. read more

To be honest this is a restaurant I hate to do this Yelp review about because I enjoy their food and service, But today my wife and I walked into this location with no greeting we sat at a table where we were never addressed acknowledg'd or even given a menu, I thought due to social distancing I possibly had to walk up to the bar to request a menu where I was ignored, So I my wife and I decided to leave the restaurant and not spend our money where it was not appreciated, Once again this is one review I did not want to do because I love their food but when I do feel under appreciated I cannot stand for that, The 2 (caucasian)waitresses 1 having blonde hair with a red mask on, And the other not wearing a mask with Sandy blond hair, And a young Filipino gentleman all 3 were careless to my wife and I presents and down right rude, Unfortunately due to the protest as of late, my wife and I (African American)Have experienced more discrimination practices In grocery stores and different restaurants, But I always thought Grapow was a safe space for all different ethnicities, But today I was shown that's not the case. read more

The food is good, prices are reasonable but definitely in dire need of good American hospitality. Our server was so dry, I had a few questions about the menu and she made no attempt at clarifying them. Instead, a very young man, I assume was the host had the courtesy to respond and was very familiar with the menu (mind you, he's only been there 2 months or so). And they don't offer rolls during lunch, that was a let down. read more

Here's a heads up for those who want to visit only the bar area. They shortened their happy hour by 30 minutes and they've gone to smaller mugs for their large beers, yet the prices have remained the same. The late crowd can get a little dicey, unless you're a fan of the glamis element. Another policy they've recently instituted, because they don't trust said clientele, is that you have to order at the bar after 9. Good luck interrupting the scantily clad bartenders enjoying their drinks paid for, again, by said clientele. This place has turned into nothing more than a last resort nightcap spot, and this is coming from patrons who have been coming here since they opened. read more

Hands down my favorite Thai Restaurant! I love everything from the yellow curry to the soups.

The food is okay, small portions and a bit pricey. I ordered the curry and they gave me so little rice! I had to finish the curry as if it were a soup. But the worst thing about this place is the absolutly horrid customer service. One of the waiters was extremely loud and lacked basic manners. This waiter served us the wrong plate TWICE! And was very loud when he walked up to five us the plate. And I mean unnecessarily loud because he interuppted my tables conversation multiple times. Moreover, when this guy brought us our actual dishes, he didn't know what the dish was. We asked him whih one was it and he said "Oh I didnt look at the reciept". How do you even bring out the food without knowing who it is going to or what it is? The worse part was when he brought out our second dish he spilled some across the floor and onto the backof my shirt! It was a white shirt!!! The waiter didnt tell me he did so and I didnt notice until I got home! What the hell. Also there was a guy squatting down behind the sushi counter on his phone.. so that was that. Never going back here again. read more

My husband and I have had at least a handful of visits where we experienced awful customer service (why don't we learn?!). A couple of days ago my husband was in the mood for Thai and so we decided to suck it up and try gra pow yet again. We walk in and immediately an older gentleman takes our name and tells us the wait is about 20 minutes. We accept this and take a seat. Maybe 5-6 minutes later he comes back and seats us. "Wow!" I say to my husband, "he must be working on improving their customer service! He knows they lack in that department!" So we sit down and chit chat for a bit. After a couple of minutes we notice that we haven't been given any menus nor have they taken our drink order. But we continue to talk for about 10 more minutes until my husband gets annoyed and waves down a server, who asks, "Have you been helped?" My husband responds, "No, not at all." She grabs 2 menus, puts them on our table, and promptly rushes away. Still no drink order. So we figure out our appetizer and entree orders and wait...5 minutes go by... Nothing. We look around and notice that the people next to us are annoyed because they JUST got their appetizers (They had just finished their entree). So we look at each other and say, "Yup, let's leave." We drove the extra 10 minutes to the better Thai option in Riverside. The only reason this place continues to get business is because they are the only Thai place available in the area. The food is good but Best Thai tastes better and has great customer service!!! read more

So it's a weeknight and the restaurant wasn't busy. But it had a fun atmosphere with one or two people at the bar and about three tables with 3-4 people. Our party of six was seated righty away. And the waitress was super nice. It took us a bit long to be asked our drinks but we got it right away so everything seemed okay. We ordered our food when we got our drinks because we already knew what we wanted since we know Thai food like the back of our hand and it took awhile for them to get our drinks. Well about ONE HOUR later another waited came by and asked us if we were okay. But we said we still didn't get our food. Our happy hour tacos finally came then we sat there looking at each other and the cilantro that fell on our plate. Another waitress came by and asked how our food was. And if we wanted more water. We said no and she asked us if we were done and we said yes meaning yes our appetizers done and we haven't gotten our food. She rambled on about something or other left and came back with the bill. I looked at her and said are you kidding me. You have not go even us our food. Our food hasn't even come yet . She replied she thought we were kidding and assumed the appetizer tacos which we each had one was it...wtf! I ordered six Thai family style plates all large and this ridiculous girl didn't even bother hearing what we were telling her so why even bother asking how we r doing if you don't stop to listen. Anyway. About one hour and fifteen minutes later we got our food. The food was just okay; if know Thai food then this is okay. Not excellent just okay. If you don't care about service and just okay food then this place is for you. After we were done eating we asked for the bill and I asked if since the satay chicken came out at 9:15pm then they should ring it up at the happy hour price she (the waitress who made all the stupid mistakes) said no and said we had ordered it at 8pm before happy hour. Really M%$&@FFKRR?? So your going to go cheap ass on an already pissed off customer and deliver this suck ass service. Seriously you don't know that a small token could have gone a long way. Because I will pay big money for a sucky meal if I had good service or an itty bitty meal if it had good service. ...good service makes all the difference in the world Honey. These little things matter. So no thanks. First and forever last time we go here. And I will be sending warnings about this restaurant to everyone in my community not to go here. (Haha I live around the corner suckers) everyone it's to your best interest to drive a little far for BETTER FOOD and most importantly BETTER SERVICE rather then this so so food here and lame ass service. read more

One of our favorite restaurants really blew it tonight. The orange chicken was so over cooked we could barely bite into it. The wild rice was white rice with egg in it. On top of it we got about half of what we are usually given. I should mention this was takeout at around 5 pm on Sunday. read more

I regretfully feel the need to leave a two star review for this restaurant. Not because the food was bad, but because the service I received left a bit to be desired. Not only was the girl who took my order uninformed about what was/wasn't vegetarian, but it resulted in me consuming chicken broth, which was why I asked the question in the first place. When I asked the waiter who originally took my order, a younger Hispanic man with blonde tips and earrings, if the soup had animal broth in it, he went to check and informed me it was made with chicken broth. It didn't bother me that I had to make a new order, but it was his response of irritation that was unpleasant. I felt like was being overly apologetic concerning the situation. When I received the bill I was slightly irritated myself when I realized the soup I had sent back wasn't removed from my bill. When I brought this to his attention he seemed less than thrilled. Then proceeded to ignore my friends and I once we were ready to pay the bill. I don't know if this guy was having a bad day or his manager was breathing down his neck but the way I was treated for not only consuming food that infringed on my personal and moral beliefs, and took forever to correct made my dining experience memorable in a negative way. read more

Fun and refreshing place to go to have a drink! Love there happy hour choices in beverages and food. Sushi is amazing, so delicious.

We've been coming here for quite sometime, and love the food. But today was by far the worst experience ever!! When we checked in we asked the new hostess to be seated in bar area, as we waited around and seen tables empty, the host de comes up and says we have a table by the sushi area. I go and check it out and ask for something different because it's the smallest table and in between two others which we do not wanna here the other peoples conversation or be squished. So we wait again and as we wait we see a table for four, we then ask can we sit there another 15 mins goes by as the hostess checks. She then comes back and informs us that they will sit another party of four there, REALLY!! At this point I ask for the manager, she comes over and says hold on let me get something else. As in telling her what's the big deal of us two sitting at a table of four which half the tables in the bar area we're seated with two people with a four table capacity. Blows my mind and at that point we walked out, seriously won't be coming back for awhile seeing other post of horrible service, indefinitely won't be referring anyone either.. read more

Grapow is excellent fresh Thai-Asian fusion food. It's pricey but worth it! Love the house salad dressing, brown rice, grapow noodles (beef and chicken), yellow curry...everything I try is great. My kids love the fried rice (big enough to share with two kids and for the adults to steal some). read more

The quality of the food is acceptable however the service is awful. The older lady who runs the place has very poor customer service skills. I have decided not to go there any more. I favor Royal Orchid by UCR for their exceptional service and great tasting authentic Thai cuisine! read more

My girlfriend and I stopped in for the first time tonight. We were seated quickly and despite being busy, our server Stephanie came over right away. We had drinks, jalapeño cheese balls, Mongolian beef, crunchy roll and salmon sashimi. Every item was amazing. We were introduced to the owner and immediately knew why the place is a huge success. This will be our new "go to" spot from now on. read more

good food that taste fresh. good lunch specials. They have a bar as well but I haven't been on that side of the restaurant yet.

I have been ordering Grapow noodle for both of my kids, always two orders of same noodle with egg noodle replacement! I normally got it correct. Last night I did the same orders again and got home and opened the container, they are not what we ordered! I had to scramble again and got different food close-by. By the time I was settled, it's too late to call the store. ---my mistake, ---I called them today first thing I got off work around 3pm, the guy said he could have offered meal credit if I had called yesterday, but it's too late today! I hug up and thinking, you just lost one regular visiting customer.... read more

This is the place to go for a consistently good meal. There are not many choices In the area, except for the same old tired chains.

I would not suggest take out. Too pricey for portion size. Service was average to almost pretentious. With that said food flavor was above average. read more

So, we came in and sat down, waiting about 30 minutes for someone to approach us to see if we had any water, we ordered water 4 times, I had to WALK to the manager and ask for help. Finally we got waters...we ordered our sushi and entree, waited another 15 for our entree no sushi....20 minutes later we finally get our sushi after they said the sushi bar is behind...overall this place has the worst service I've ever experienced with so so food. Good ambience, attentive server. I would think this is nice little dating place. Was bit surprised to see bunch of Korean stuff in Thai restraunt (the placemat, the inscription on menu plate, and list of drinks)... PadThai was rather unusual on noodle... very thin... I really didn't enjoy the texture of noodle and the fact it was bit uncooked for my taste (and lumpy). I would have been much happier with regular noodle with bit more of egg there. Other dishes were okay. Salad had very creamy sauce which was different and good. There was something of chicken stuffed thing in "bread" in each of lunch menu dishes which was very good. Prices were definitely reasonable. I will leave it at this until I give this place another chance with different selection. (I am giving 3 since none of 3 dishes we ordered REALLY deserved 4 star+) I might just have gotten not so strong side of selections. (and I will give it another go later because I do like atmosphere, attentive service, reasonable pricing, and generous portions). read more

One of my fav oriental restaurants to go too!! The food is soooooo delicious ! I recommend this place to go to if you want Asian food

My opinion is that this is the best place in the riverside/moreno valley area for thai food. They have lunch specials during the week. Everything i have eaten here is always on point. Great food!!! Plus they are good about making an order Gluten Free which is definitely awesome.

I had been hearing now for a few years how great this place is, finally tried it out for myself. Grapow is NOT overrated! I went there for just a quick bite, sat at the side bar, that I believe is used mostly as a service station, and ordered just a simple appetizer, the lettuce cups. I wasn't expecting much since many restaurants have had this item on the menus now for years, I was merely looking for a simple, easy and low calorie dish since I am dieting (ugh!). Therefore I was very impressed when my food arrived, I never expected to be so happy eating lettuce cups. The lettuce was super fresh and crisp, the chicken was tasty and tossed with fresh veggies and the sauce, holy s#$%t, SO good! The sauce is really where it's at, I think it was a kind of ponzu, that is a soy based citrus sauce, very yummy whatever it was. Cannot wait to go back again and again and try everything on the menu. The several dishes I saw coming out of the kithchen all looked appealing and delicious. The other thing I would remark about my first experience at Grapow is the lighting, I do appreciate good lighting. At 1pm on a sweltering Sunday afternoon, walking into Grapow was a lovely and refreshing reprive from our interminable Summer. Lots of shades from the outside and soft cool lighting inside. I wasn't even bothered by the hords of jersey adorning bros in the main bar whooping and hollering every two minutes at the football game (does that make me sound judgemental? Don't care). Side Note: If you're looking for a place to watch football games on Sunday afternoons, Grapow is one choice! read more

Such a friendly staff. Great atmosphere to have a drink and catch up with friends and family. Never disappointed with the food!

AWFUL AWFUL Service. No one knows who is serving which table and it is a shame because their food is delicious. The last two times we have gone we have been completely ignored for at least 10 minutes at the bar top. At least six servers looked at us and never once acknowledged our presence. Thank God for the young hostess who helped clean the bar top, gave us set ups, and menus. It's too bad the other servers are not more like her. When we tried to get the servers attention, she said without even turning to look at us "Give me a minute okay." After that we got up and left. This place is very disorganized even when it is not busy and it really bums me out that we will not go back to eat there. Great food but the service needs some serious revamping and organization. read more

Eat here often and the food is amazing. Service is subpar. However, last time we were there we were sat in a booth. Before we received our food I looked to my left at the wall (luckily) and a roach was crawling up the wall and ran under the blinds on the windowsill. I watched it to make sure it didn't come back out and when the waiter came back we told him and he killed it. I was surprised they didn't offer us at least a discount. My husband told me later that the booth behind us was saying something about a roach and moved tables. It was a very small roach and while we were there my husband lied to me and told me it was a different kind of bug. After we left, he told me it was definitely a roach. Obviously they need to get their roach problem under control. I just don't see myself being able to eat there again after that! read more

Absolutely the worst Service in the bar area... they really need new bartenders/waiters because if you don't raise your hand they won't see you... they're rude and don't even look like they like their job... I don't know why I keep coming back but I somehow always end up here leaving the same way I did last time.. read more

On Mothers Day I thought I would treat myself. Just moving to the area I thought it was great to have a Thai place so close to home. My husband dropped me off so I could order some food to go while he got food that he liked. I was greeted by a very nice young man. He took my order and said it would only be a short while. Then he went on break. About 20 mins later I was getting restless but I could not catch the eyes of anyone. It was like they avoided me completely. I finally had to grab a waitress by the arm and ask her to check to see if my order was ready. She asked who took my order and she said she would go find him instead of getting my order. I could see it ready through the double doors. The young man finally came back from break, I guess he is the only one allowed to touch my order. He handed it to me very annoyed. I finally got my food but had to wait for another 10 mins to get my drink. My husband was waiting outside pissed that I took so long. I got the Pai Tai and the Sea Food Soup. The Pai Tai was dry and had no flavor but the soup was ok. But the meal was way over priced for what I got. I probably won't go back. Table 4 Two about 10 mins away is way better. I think I will take the extra time to go there. read more

I have been here twice so far and everything I've had (and we order many things to share) has been bomb. From the thai iced tea (one of the best I've ever had) to the apps, soups and entrees, I've never had something there that I thought was *ok*. It's always awesome. Consistently full of flavor, so much that I am going to take one of the cooking classes they offer (pretty rad) so I can try some of these items at home. I love cooking and you can tell that whoever came up with these menu items and sauces does too. Most of the time I feel that I should have just stayed home & cooked after we go out to eat because 8 times out of 10 I can cook better than the places we go (not bragging. ..I'm just say'n... but I can burn) and if I'm paying $ to go eat it should be worth the time I worked to get the $ to pay for the meal, no? I feel this place is totally worth it. Service is always on point. And the manger/owner Patrick is hilarious. He makes it a point to come ask how everything was and finds time to make his guests laugh whenever he can. Glad I found this place! read more

I wish I could put 0 stars! I haven't been here in over a year even though it's only 5 minutes away. Why? Because the service is awful. However, when I got had a severe stomach problem & needed some vegetable broth soup to calm my stomach I decided to give them a chance. My husband (sitting next to me) orders the vegetable broth soup with shrimp won ton (budda shrimp soup). He brings it home & serves it but 1 bite & I am in a FIREY HELL!!! It's the wrong soup-I can't even swallow it it's so spicy! I drink egg not to try & cool my mouth. Dr told me no spicy food! But the worst part is when I call them about it, this rude lady says my husband ordered the 7 star spicy soup-A COMPLETE LIE! She's arguing with me on the phone! Really? Are you kidding me? I ask for the manager-she gets a guy on the phone who says the same thing. Meanwhile, my husband gets there to pick up the new soup. Then they want to argue with him & put me on the phone with him. What kind of horrible service is this? They tell him, "You ordered 7 star spicy!" Congratulations! A $10 bowl of soup cost you thousands of dollars of business. I can't believe this! Never go here! Go to Bann Thai instead-better food & much better service! read more

My boyfriend and I left very unsatisfied with this place. We were really looking forward to eating here. As soon as we got there we were seated by our server David, unfortunately, everyone kept ignoring us. David was taking care of his friends that were eating there while my boyfriend and I waited for about 30 minutes to get our order taken but we never did.
