So I finally made it over To this amazing place and trust & believe it was well worth it! My sweet tooth was more than satisfied with their rich , deep flavored desserts.Although this place is packed with a variety of beautiful sweets,my Favorite dessert of the day was The Porcupine ..wow !!, A hard chocolate shell that resembles a porcupine, the different layers of chocolate yumminess with that raspberry filling inside is what made it pop for me, and a all time favorite for my husband was the Tiramasu ughhh it "broke da mouf" ( ridiculously delicious) he says . Gourmandise Bakery !!! I can see why you won best bakery 2019 ,people if you have been, take the family and.. GO!!!!! . . read more

I have been so excited for a location closer to me, I grew up going to the downtown location but sometimes its too far to travel to. Went in to a small cute location with staff super friendly and prompt, the variety of pastries and cookies are limited here which is somewhat disappointing. We settled for a MANGO Raspberry Tart (my favorite) and a White Rum Ball (I dont know the name). Both lacked flavor, especially the tart, the rum ball was drenched in something, assuming rum flavoring, but didn't taste like it. Next time I'll get a cookie, assuming you cant mess up a cookie recipe. read more

Took my sisters for their birthday lunch and was pleasantly surprised to see healthy items I can eat since I'm following the Mediterranean diet! Deliciously healthy food! read more

So good! The saumon croute and the tri Tip were incredible. Nate was a great waiter. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Four words: Best Strawberry Cheescake Ever! My third visit to this location, and once again highly impressed. Their desserts are top notch, and they serve La Barbs coffee so you cannot go wrong. I've had their Brussels sprouts, which are very good, and their pancakes. I highly recommend stopping in for afternoon coffee and dessert at the least! read more

I'm going to go a little easy at this place since it just opened up. I hope they can improve. Food and desserts are four stars but when I went in to dine on a Friday morning around 9am, the restaurant was filthy. I walked around the restaurant and the bathroom and the floors were dirty all around. If they can concentrate on details like that, they'll be better. read more

Absolutely delightful! Instead of ordering them overpriced from a local restaurant that advertises them as house made desserts, we went right to the source and were thrilled with our birthday treats! We took home 5 different desserts to share with friends and they were fabulous! We'll be back soon! read more

Came to celebrate my college admission status, will come back again for the yummy desserts! You can get it to go, or stay and enjoy it. Great selection of desserts, but kinda expensive (the quality makes up for that, though). Would recommend! read more

I avoid eating carbs, but when I decide to eat'em this bakery is my favorite in downtown. I've never been disappointed with any of the pastries I've bought here. read more

This our favorite spot for pastries . Pick anything, ANYTHING! You will not be disappointed.

Been here many times- I think breakfast is my favorite- eggs Benedict polenta. Nice atmosphere. Clean good food great service delicious deserts and pastries read more

Seriously bakery heaven. Everything I've ever eaten here is perfection. Presentation is spot on and each dessert merits a yummy dance.

This place's food quality is like the discounted version of the downtown one but charges full price. The two times I ordered dessert through drive-thru, cakes were both not fresh. The cake layer was dry, maybe because it was not made the same day. The sliced cake portion was smaller than the one given at the downtown location too. I am very disappointed in the Draper gourmandise. read more

We have been here twice. 1st time we ordered a whole black forest cake. After reading some reviews thought this would be the best choice for my husbands birthday. It was just ok. Not as flavorful as I was hoping, or thinking with the name. 2nd time we got a gift card for my mom ( she loves this place) and a blueberry scone for us! It was amazing, we almost drove back for seconds. read more

I am in trouble with them opening right down the road from my house. I kinda love their creamy potato soup! Only four stars though because they messed up my order twice. Will return often read more

If you want a place that has high quality entree & dessert - this is your place! The wait on a Friday/Saturday night might be longer than you would want to wait; but the food is worth it! When it's a hot eating time; the area feels cramped but overall the ambiance is great! read more

Great food friendly service. What more can you ask for? Will return fo sho return. Healthy Cobb salad: 5/5 Meatball sandwich: 4/5 (Baguette was excellent) Kouign Amann: 4/5 Server Kayla: 5/5 read more

How did I not know Gourmandise had a dinner menu?! I've only been to the SLC location for brunch but happened to see the place (Draper) was packed tonight and decided to give it a try. First I want to give praise to our waitress, Kayla. She was so friendly, attentive, and did a fantastic job serving us. The food was DELICIOUS. We tried the Brussels appetizer which was rich and flavorful. The stew was incredible and tri tip super tender. My husband and I were also very happy about the la barba coffee. We can't wait to return and try more of the menu! read more

We love the Salt Lake location and frequent it quite often. We expected the same great quality food from this location, and unfortunately there were so many downsides to our food. The chocolate croissant and French toast both felt like old/frozen bread that was impossible to cut through with a fork and knife. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict, and instead of poached eggs he received hard boiled eggs. They re-did it, and then left off the hollandaise sauce. It definitely left a lot to be desired! However, the waitress was very nice and felt bad about our experience. read more

Amazing baked goods/pastries good customer service! Get there early if you want the best almond croissants!

A great treasure in Draper that is stepping up to the challenge Covid-19 is presenting. We ordered one of their takeout meals. The pulled pork and polenta was awesome! The whole family was pleased. Similarly, having one of their ham and cheese croissants for breakfast this morning was a nice feeling of a little bit of normalcy in the uncertain world we find ourselves in. Can't wait for the pot pie for lunch later this week! read more

Amazing salads , soups and desserts. Cannoli and cherry turnovers worth the drive. Did pick up a few times and it was ready and delicious!! read more

Would skip the eggs Benedict over dry polenta. The eggs were overdone, polenta was dry, and they forgot to put the hollandaise on my meal. Very dry and awful!!! read more

It was a very horrible disgusting experience dining in yesterday as the place was infested with houseflies. Had to shoo away the flies eating our food as it kept landing everywhere including our drinks. Both me and my husband has bad severe diarrhea couple of times when we got home and also the next day. The health department must look and check on this unhealthy issue and eating environment! Very very disappointed as it was our first time dining in as we always ordered the cakes for many years as it is our favorite bakery. We also picked up a passion fruit cake yesterday and now we are concerned and worried if the flies got all over it and having second thoughts consuming it. The 1 star is for the delicious cakes we had over the years Disgusted unhappy and unsatisfied customer read more

I am so happy to have this second location closer to us! We love the savory menu, and of of course... always treat yourself to something at the dessert bar. My personal favorite is the Kouign amann! I got a raspberry croissant through the drive thru. When I got home I was very disappointed. For $4 I expected the usual fluffy croissant. This one is flat and hard. If the batch doesn't turn out, don't sell it. read more

Go for dinner with your sweetie, the menu is fabulous. I got the tri tip steak, and it was perfect. The desserts really are the stars. The Baba Au Rum is the least fancy looking but the most delicious! Think tres leches only frenchier. read more

Dear Gourmandise, what happened to your desserts? We come out of our way to your slc downtown location for your delicious, decadent desserts and this last time around... we were so disappointed! We ordered a Peach and a Marzipan cake slice to go and when we got home we were sorely saddened. The Peach contained no traces of peach flavors at all! Usually this delicious delight is sitting in a bath of peach schnapps or something and this was just..... wrong. Where is the schnapps flavor?! The actual PEACHYNESS is missing! It was more like slightly peach flavored simple syrup. And the marzipan was so shocking!! Where is the actual marzipan?? What is this on top of the cake? Fondant?? It was just straight up sugar nothingness. I could get better marzipan from a candy bar at World Market. Did you guys hire a new baker/dessert maker? Are you trying to cut down on costs?? I need answers! I am shocked. We dream of this stuff man! read more

Not too impressed with their drive thru! I ordered brussels sprouts and olives and waited 25 minutes! The server asked for a tip before I even got the food. Nobody told me they were backed up and I would have to wait longer than in some sit down restaurants for 2 little orders! TIP means to improve performance and I shouldn't have given them one! NOW here's the part I was impressed with....I walked up to window to get my $ back as I needed to get back to my son's game and Bailey (may have been shift lead?) was very apologetic and kind and offered to refund my money right away and send me home with a free pastry - I took that and by then the order was ready so I took it-and the Brussels sprouts were awesome as was the pastry! She was extra apologetic and kind so I increased the stars for customer service-thanks! And I love Gourmandise so I'll be back but wary at the drive thru! read more

Great place for brunch with the girls. I have ordered several large size cakes in the past and they are always a hit at any gathering. Everything here is good, you can't go wrong! My favorite dessert is the passion fruit cake. read more

I've been to this location several times and Aldo the airport and when my daughter needed a celebratory lunch , I aimed my car to the Draper location. It was a few minutes after noon and it was busy inside do we decided to do the drive through Ordered sandwiches and soup so the women who took our order said it would take 10-15 minutes to put together. Drive around to pay snd the young man took my payment , graciously got my daughter and ice water gave me my receipt and walked away. I was confused , went around to front parked assuming they would bring our order out. 15 minutes plus passed snd I went inside to check and the young man whom took payment said " where did you go you weren't in park and wait ,so I just thought you left ". I " you didn't tell me where to park so I was just out front ". He handed me my order. I asked if the chi latte was there he no he came right back and handed me the latte. Got into my car latte was Luke warm and I was mad. I love the food and pastry. It's always good but my customer experience was disappointing. I know it gets busy, but an apology and a " let me remake your latte " would have soothed my rumbled feathers. read more

The employees at this location need to learn to be more attentive, I watched my boyfriend stand at the register for five minutes as three employees were chatting, looked at him, and turned their backs. This is an experience I've seen a few times at this location, where I'll come in and there's no urgency, and it seems like the employees have an overall lazy and uncaring energy towards customers. Makes me almost not want to come in if the pastries weren't so good. I also came in the other day with a to go order I put in ten minutes before and then showed up, it was due at 9:50 and all it was was an avocado toast and coffee and the employees said it wasn't due until 9:50, like ok? Get on it lmao should take five minutes if that. Just annoyed at the customer service read more

I had the most amazing pecan Kougn Amann pastry here! In fact it was so good that before I left town (in town passing through for work) I went to their other location to buy some to take with me (unfortunately they were sold out), i look forward to coming back, the babka and rice pudding were both superb. read more

OMG Becky.....this place is amaze balls. First timer stopped by today and ordered the cold brew, almond horn, monte cristo, avocado toast (with poached eggs), and an apricot croissant. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. was delish! Do yourself a favor and always go here. read more

Gotta say, Vernon, your food is ok but your management style is mortifying. Good luck getting anything taken care of if you have a problem here. There's no actual general manager. Just a bunch of high school kids they call the "shift lead". read more

Great service! Clean. Friendly and welcoming. The decor is classy French rustic. My husband had the Euro Burger and I had the Blueberry Balsamic Grilled Cheese. Both were delicious! All of the baked goods in the cases were beautiful, but we controlled ourselves and only ordered the brownie and macarons. We'll definitely come back again. read more

I arrive at this restaurant at 8.35pm and the waitress told that they already shut down all the coffee machine. So they don't have nothing. They close at 9, not at 8.35, so this is my first and last visit. I totally don't recommend this restaurant. Even the attention was a mess. I can't believe why they close everything 25min before the real close time. Really sucks. I'm sorry for the owners. If I have this kind of employees I'll fire all of them. read more

UPDATE: I was back to this place in the early morning of 10/05 for breakfast with a friend. I had the croque madame which was good, my friend was very happy with her avocado toast, and the service was good. Before leaving, wanted a German chocolate cake to go, but their employee told me that it's been a few months since they stopped making this cake. Such a classic cake, what a disappointing surprise. I ended up purchasing some pastries to go, and I could not wait to enjoy the almond croissant as soon as I got home; It turns out it was VERY stale. At this time I am unable to give this Gourmandise location anything above 3 stars sadly... read more

I've been here before and had a pretty average experience but when I went in a few days ago I bought 2 cups of coffee, and a bag of coffee, on our way home my girlfriends coffee was great, but mine was incredibly hot, I know coffee is supposed to be hot, but mine was scalding, I waited 30 minutes for it to cool down and when I was actually able to drink it I immediately spit it out because they burnt the hell out of it and the milk tasted sour, once again my girlfriends tasted fine, I don't know why they made hers well and mine was a disaster but that's not even the worst part. The next morning I went to go make some coffee realizing the coffee they sold to me had expired TEN days before I bought it. I will never be back here again. I miss this good old days of bake 360, this place does not compare. read more
