We thought it would be a fun addition to the evening and it was! We had over 200 people (80% were under 18) and did the 2 station set up. Ty did a great job managing both stations, wait times were not an issue, and everone had a fun time! It was so much fun seeing what the players were doing on the tv sets and hearing their reactions as they played. Would definitely recommend them for an event.

This is outdoors and free as far as I know for taking pictures there! People have receptions and other parties at this location and I know that costs money; but as far as I understand you can go there when there isn't a reserved party and take pictures. I attended a "Big 12 After Dark" BYU football game against Kansas State. It was BYU's first game as…read morea member of the Big 12. And, this was my first visit to Provo, Utah and to LaVell Edwards Stadium. It was an 8:30pm kickoff and this was also a "White Out" game where every BYU fan in attendance was instructed to wear white. I had the time of my life!!! Granted, I am too old to be a student, but just being a college football fan in general, LaVell Edwards Stadium had it all. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!! There were so many memorable moments, I'm still feeling on Cloud 9 from it all! Where to start?????? - The setting!! From the home side of the stands, you have a gorgeous mountain range view hanging in the distance. It's one of the best backdrops in college football!! Maybe THE BEST!! The scenery was stunning! But in a way, no surprise. Utah's landscape never ceases to amaze. For the 8:30pm kickofff, they allowed fans inside the stadium 2 full hours ahead of time. This gave me ample opportunities to walk around and explore. I bought my ticket on TickPick (as usual). It was $53 which I think was cheap. Both BYU and Kansas State (who has a solid football reputation) were 3 - 0 heading into this game. And for a primetime showing on ESPN, $53 was well worth the price of admission, lol. Before entering, they had the "Cougar Walk" where fans greeted the players as they entered the stadium. That was exciting. I made sure to take a photo with the Cougar Statue right outside. Btw, I parked along the side street at the BYU Botany Pond, about a one mile walk from LaVell Edwards Stadium. This way I didn't have to pay for parking. LaVell Edwards Stadium has a seating capacity of 64,000 and for this game...it was a sellout. That brings me to my next point... - Crowd energy and noise! I was mighty impressed with BYU's fans and students bringing the noise and showing their passion for the Cougars. Every third down on defense had fans standing and rooting for BYU to make a stop. I also appreciated the BYU Fight Song which was playful and all the fans knew the chant. Opening introductions were fantastic with fireworks lighting off and getting things started. And...at the end of the game when BYU won convincingly, there was a terrific 5 minute fireworks display that finished the celebrations on the perfect note. I also need to mention how when ending the 3rd quarter and entering the 4th quarter, the Cougar mascot got the stadium rocking with a pounding of the drums while fans responded and clapped along. It reminded of the "Skol Chant" at US Bank Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings. Another thing to mention was my seat...I sat in Section NN and Row 36 which was the last row of the visiting side of the stands. Yet...the views of the game from this Row 36 were awesome! I could see all the action perfectly. And just glancing around at the rest of the bowl that comprised LaVell Edwards Stadium, it appeared like wherever you sat, you were able to follow every play from any vantage point. Whoever designed this place did an outstanding job, lol! In the end, for attending a BYU football game here at LaVell Edwards Stadium, it had to be one of the most electric and exciting atmospheres I have ever been to for a sporting event. I loved every moment. And this is why I live for college football! Thank you Brigham Young University for having me.

I…read morehave mixed feelings about LaVell Edwards Stadium: THE GOOD - In terms of the stadium backdrop, it is one of (if not the best) in college football. Absolutely stunning views of the Wasatch Mountain range on the east side of the venue. - The fan fest space outside the stadium is incredible compared to what it was a decade ago -- with BYU's policy against alcohol on campus, having food trucks and activities for fans to participate in is a great way to get involved on game day. - The in-game experience (music, fireworks, 3rd quarter break) is very engaging and fun for fans. THE BAD - While there have been several updates made to the stadium (connecting the upper concourse all the way around the stadium and adding stairwells to get up), it still feels like a very old concrete heap. There are no good uses of tech in the stadium -- no heating or misters to control temperature of walkways, no escalators to move people up and down between concourses quickly, and no TVs to give fans views of the game while they're on the concourse. - The stadium has arguably the worst foot traffic flow of any venue I've ever been to. Thousands of people stack up in the concourse waiting for bathrooms and drinking fountains, even more stack up trying to exit the portals at halftime and the conclusion of the game. It's a serious evacuation hazard, and it's brutal to get anywhere before the game, during HT, and after the game. - Parking close to the stadium is also nearly impossible unless you are a season ticket holder (designated parking lot) or get to the stadium 5 hours early. Everyone else parks in the neighborhoods to get a close spot, which makes the traffic after games painfully slow. Fun place to see a game every once in a while, but this place has some major flaws holding it back from making it what could be one of the best overall venues in sports.

She offered to personally meet with my daughter and have her return. I declined the kind offer. She recognized we were failed, and was sorry she wasn't aware of the situation. Just when I thought downtown Provo couldn't get better, I discovered the Covey Center and have…read moreanother reason to travel down to Happy Valley. This cozy venue packs a punch and does a fantastic job of hosting musical events. The ushers are friendly and efficient-they made sure to get people in and out timely so we could enjoy the show and then be on with our lives. My only complaint, as shared by others, is the parking situation. There's not much by way of street parking and what is available gets gobbled up quickly. As long as the nearby businesses don't mind sharing, you can park a block away and walk. No big deal when the weather is nice.

Unfortunately, I find that they typically are hitting miss with their performances, and certainly a long ways off from the ideal gallery space for (artist) in the community. I wish they would approach things with a more professional eye and pain as much attention to the visual arts as they do to the performing stages. As you come in to the left where they used to be Brian kershisnik's work is now a mishmash of photos on canvas that are not in a professional way in few of them if any of our level. Is this lack of detail that make it less than it should be to really be an advocate for the arts.

The drone show was really neat for our first time. Bathrooms were fairly clean. The seating is very tight! So many people getting up and down all night that I felt like I was constantly interrupted by someone trying to squeeze by. I wish the stadium seating had more space in between the people in front and back. Long legged people have a tough time.

Such a fun rodeo!!! We went on Family Night this year, and were thoroughly entertained through all…read morethe events and comedic acts. My favorite was the wild mustang riding! Both times I've gone to the rodeo, there was a motocross event included at the end. It was so cool (and scary!!!!) seeing the bikers do crazy flips on their bikes. One of the best parts of the rodeo is the rodeo burgers. They're $4 at the concession stands, and they hit the spot every time. (you'll probably want to get 2 of them!). They also have hot dogs, nachos, snow cones, frozen bananas, and drinks. The reason that this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is the sound level. It was SO LOUD. I brought out my decibel meter app (because I'm that nerdy), and the peak dB level was 107 dB with an average of 93. (The average person can only be exposed to a sound louder than 100 dB for 15 minutes before causing damage to the ear according to NIOSH standards.) The sound level was actually very painful. As I looked around, I saw lots of people plugging their ears. Afterward, everyone in our group complained of ringing ears. Make sure you bring ear plugs so you don't have to make your own out of a tissue like I did!
