Class was 9-10, then the floors were open. The music is FAB! They even had salsa going on in the other studio with live drums! The djs were EXCELLENT. Sound equipment was fabulous! Bathroom nice and clean, and spacious for changing. The lighting and ambience is just fantastic! Really good. The temperature is great too! Not too hot at all. On August 7, 2025 at 4:39pm MT I emailed DF to discuss this email (see attached image) before…read moreposting reviews about them. No response. I emailed again on August 8, 2025 at 7:34pm MT. Still no response. However, they were quick to reply to my google review. They asked in the google review response to address my concern with them privately, which I did before even posting reviews and then again after, and they won't respond. They claim in their response to my google review that safety matters to them and yet when I addressed a safety concern, I was dismissed. I stopped going to DF back in July except for once a week for one hour to use up my paid pass. My friends have asked why I stopped going to DF and I told them the truth. Weeks later I am punished by DF for speaking my truth by being banned from their business, although I had already been slowly removing myself, just had to use up what I paid for because the policy they do have visible to the public is that there are no refunds on purchases. Earlier this year I reported to the DF owner and one of their instructors that I had been s**ually harassed by a dance student who admitted to his inappropriate behavior and apologized, in front of the dance instructor. I had an in person conversation with the studio owner and the dance instructor to address my concern of having to be paired with this person for about 2.5 months. The option I was presented was voluntarily quit dancing or suck it up. They also asked me not to talk about my concern with the team I was on, which I found really shady to make such a request. I obliged by not talking to those whom I was not close friends with. Per the DF team contract, if you voluntarily quit you don't get your money back. So I sucked it up and had the most miserable experience ever. The DF owner and the teacher were unwilling to switch partners, giving me excuses why they couldn't, yet when it came to an out of state performance they switched my partner those last few weeks, when this new partner could have been my partner from the time I addressed my concern. I found a new dance team and told my friends that once I used up all of my paid passes at DF I wasn't going to continue classes there. When they asked why, I told them the truth of my negative experiences with DF, the owner, and the instructor. After several months from the time I reported my s**ual harassment concern, today 8/8 I receive an email from the studio owner, telling me I am no longer welcome at the studio for classes, dance socials, events, etc. She claimed I violated her studio code of conduct. Not once did she ever approach me with any concerns prior to today. I have been going to DF on and off since 2010 and there has never been a visible code of conduct or studio participation rules in the studio, on their app, or on their website. The instructors have not discussed participation rules or studio conduct in any of the classes or teams I've been on. When I asked the owner to provide specifics on what I violated and when, she has not provided any insight as to what I'm accused of. When I asked for a copy of the studio's values and participation guidelines, she hasn't responded. I believe she is retaliating against me for voicing my experiences I've had at DF. I will refer people to the many other dance studio options available and I will not be referring anyone to DF.

Let me be the first to say that I am just not one of those people who are uber fit. I dislike most…read morephysical activities, (i.e., walking, running, aerobics, doing anything that requires moving my joints). That's not to say that I don't do physical activity, I just am typically not a fan. That being said, I could completely see Baile Dance making me want to be (and stay) physically active and fit. I recently went to a Zumba class, which turned out to be taught by one of my favorite instructors, Enrique (also instructs at BodyWise Fitness). While I'm not particularly good at Zumba (my hips actually do lie), I find it to be so much fun. Knowing how great of an instructor Enrique is, I'm sure that the other instructors are probably just as great as he is. This studio opened fairly recently, so the studio is gorgeous. The interior is bright and large with light hardwood, large mirrors, a good sound system, a clean bathroom, a beautiful chalkboard wall, and ample storage for your things. One of the things I like most about it being a dance studio is that if you're like me, you sign up for classes at the gym, but you don't go to the rest of the gym. I'd rather just pay for what I'm getting. Overall, I'd give this new studio a try, you won't regret it. Plus, maybe you'll actually like exercise (or at the least dance) when you do.

I could start off with saying this is an amazing studio but the 5 stars gives that away. If you're…read morereally interested in trying out this studio, let me tell you why this place is so amazing. I had recently moved to the area from California and didn't know anyone or of any activities to put my kids in (I have twins boy/girl and they had just turned 2). With us not knowing anyone, I wanted to get them involved in different things to find out what they enjoyed and hopefully find their "niche". My daughter started when she was 2 (just turned 2) and her very first day, my husband took her because I was at work still. The owner, Tammy, explained to my husband the nitty gritty of the studio and the option for her to compete at one competition as well as the end of year (they also do Christmas but she joined after). Of course like most husbands, they listen and retain the information but don't always do the best job of relaying the information and I'm the type of mom that has a lot of questions and is not afraid to ask. I figure the more I know the less chance to get frustrated/confused down the road...but again, that's me. Tammy was more than helpful-- I was blown away and have never forgotten that day. She talked about the competition at Lagoon and I had (obviously) never heard of that and had no idea where it was. She helped explain where it was, the distance, what it would be like -- and this was my daughter's first day at this studio -- and she was 2...TWO! My daughter was on the shy side so I really wanted her to interact with other kids her age besides her brother and this studio was a perfect fit -- so it didn't matter to me that we drive 30-40 minutes ONE WAY once a week. The following year, I signed my son up as well -- to be honest, I was less interested in him learning "dance" and more interested in him getting involved. While he wasn't shy -- he was shy when he was put in something out of his element. This year my twins had a teacher named Erin. To say that she is patient is the most understated compliment I could give her. While my son was not the fun-loving 3 year old that would run around class being silly - he didn't want to be there and he kicked and screamed (literally) and Erin just kept talking to him as if he was acting like the most obedient kid in the class. Tammy (the owner) was so amazing and told me that it would get better. Let me be clear -- it didn't make me sad or hurt me in any way that he was acting like that - he was embarrassing me a little because of his anger and uncooperative attitude. Let's fast forward...my son LOVES Erin still to this day. She never gave up on him and I think that created a very very special bond. She also has an amazing bond with my daughter. I cannot even describe what that feels like as a mother. Now, this year...they are 4. They have yet another amazing teacher, Nery, who pushes them to develop their skills more because they're getting older and they understand things a little more. She's fun with them but she is amazing at keeping them focused. As a parent, you want to know that your kids like who they are with when they are not with you. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with that. So...so far owner (Tammy) = A+; Teachers = A+++. Oh, they also have cameras so you can watch your kids while in the waiting room...so you can see how your kid(s) are behaving even when you are not right there! If you are the type of parent who is just looking for a break from your kid for 45mins -1hr - this may not be the place for you. Now, if you want a break from your child AND want them to get SOMETHING out of this - whether it be social skills, learning dance skills or just learning to be a good human - THIS is an amazing place. If you have questions, ask!!!! If you have something that you're concerned about, talk to the staff. Never once has anyone not helped me (and I ask a lot of questions) and/or not been 100% pleasant to me. Tammy does a great job running…read morethe place, my daughter's instruction has always been provided with patience, skill and care. It's been amazing to watch her improve and mature. Kickin'it ALWAYS does well in competition so there's a sense of pride having your kid dance here as opposed to other studios. Fees are reasonable and they offer multiple options depending on how much involvement your child wants with their programs. It's a big commitment in time, effort and expense if your kid wants to go down this path but it's no different than soccer, snowboarding or whatever else you decide to support your child in. I don't care for the beauty pageant feel of the competitions. It's a culture that I haven't been exposed to before but I suppose it boils down to different strokes for different folks. I'm just as different but in a drab and dowdy sort of way...

Pole initiation: introduction to pole, so we learned which is our inside and outside leg, get the basic spins and how to climb the pole etc. I recommend this class 100000% if you are wanting to learn pole (plus it gives you in advantage in the other class if the other instructors are doing a choreography with pole) 2. Liquid Motion: very sexy dance moves and how you can incorporate them into whatever kind of choreography because they are so basic but VERY necessary to make the dance pop out and run very smoothly 3. Sex kitten university: this class was fun and I enjoyed learning the dance, basically a class where you can let your sexy run wild! I did have a little bit higher expectations on this one just because I thought we would be learning more of the small details that make a dance sexy, so like where to place your hands or eye contact etc. Would still try it out again! 4. Find your sexy: very sensual dances that make you wanna dance for your partner or in front of an audience. I really enjoy this class because there are some dance moves that you say "wow I can't do that" but by the end of the class you are doing that EXACT same dance move the instructor showed you! 5. Confident with joy (beginner): very high energy class and you always wanna bring the best version of yourself! You have such a workout without actually feeling that you're "working out" . At the end of the class there is a lot of emotion because you allow yourself to be vulnerable but it definitely gives you that boost you need. Overall, I've been going to these classes and I look FORWARD to go to class. Mel and Katie (2 of the owners) are usually present at all times and dancing/teaching you! The other instructors are sooo friendly and open with everyone and have such a positive attitude it gets addicting. Just wanted to mention also that heels are encouraged but not required for the classes other than that the prices are SUPER REASONABLE!! There is literally no excuse for someone to not try pole!
