The play, cast, crew, and gorgeous new facility did not disappoint. The seats were extremely comfortable and spacious, which isn't always the case at many Broadway theaters. From the entrance way to the stage, everything was planned out really well in look and feel with a lot of attention to detail to make the venue special. The play itself was outstanding. The cast and crew were amazing and the intimate feel of the theater size and seating made us feel like we were sitting on the 50 yard line (even though we were slightly up on the second floor). There is still a feeling of intimacy and the great staff is still kind. The variety of shows to choose from their line-up gives you some musicals, comedy, and drama in one theater at such a fantastic price. Which on landed on me about 9 times so I was thrilled they could help me make sure I didn't take any hitchhikers out with me. It's definitely more kid and family friendly but I do enjoy going on my own and learned some things from the signs. Very pretty space too. The fossil space had a lot of information and I like their put together info about when the animal lived, where fossils were found and more information about the period the animal lived in.

I was in shell shock at how expensive it was to go through the Dinosaur museum. That price for the 3 of us to walk around with my grandchildren was definitely was ridiculous. Overall my grandchildren enjoyed the 1.5 hours we were there seeing everything we could see. With the outrageous price for admission, we won't be visiting Thanksgiving Point again.

They are not a school, but rather a place where your student can put into practice the skills they are learning elsewhere. However, they will still learn a ton from the hands-on experience! My middle school student has been participating in one of the bands for several months and has found the group to be highly supportive and is gaining confidence in his performing ability. As a non-musical person, I enjoy coming to the shows to support the bands. They are all very good and I'm surprised at the talent and skills of such young people.

Tonight we went and saw Christmas in Connecticut. It was made in 1945. We went to the 9 o'clock showing on a weeknight, so it was fairly quiet, which was fun. Visited with the owner for a little bit and he was super friendly and it sounds like business is going well. He said they go through about 10 different movies a week, so you've gotta be quick and keep an eye on what they've got coming up so you can catch it before they switch to the next movie. You can also put requests in for what movies you would like to have them play. Fun opportunity for a unique date night with your significant other, or family, to get out and enjoy some old movies.
