I happened to have a sweet deal at a Megaplex location and decided to check out the newer Megaplex in Vineyard. If you don't visit Vineyard every other Tuesday, it seems like they pop up a new building every time you blink. I have loved seeing the area expand more and more. This location is conveniently located near all kinds of restaurants and dessert shops, which is great when it is a movie theatre. On my particular visit, I went to see JoyRide and I had a premium ticket so I got the most premium seat--how exciting! I also went at like 10:30pm because I don't like sitting in a theatre with a bunch of people, especially screaming kids. I redeemed my Megaplex rewards for a popcorn refill and a drink refill. It was a bit confusing on how to redeem these items since they were paid for in advance but I didn't want people to think I was stealing either. The popcorn itself was burnt to a crisp. When I poured it out, there was all kinds of black remnants in the tub. Since when did theatre popcorn turn into such a bad option? The staff was really nice though, the movie was great, and the theatre is big, clean and new. The other Megaplex location I used to go to was super outdated and not nearly as nice. I am a bit far from this location so it is not necessarily convenient but I would prefer it over other locations just because of how nice it is. One bummer is that the parking can be tricky, just because of all the surrounding businesses that also use parking. I will definitely keep this location in mind for my next movie!

A big space for concessions with seemingly a lot of snack choices beyond popcorn. The theater of my movie was clean, sound was good and the seats were comfortable. Some things that gave me pause...had a hard time finding parking for a 930 pm show...no recliner seats ?! And one main (non emergency) entrance and exit to theater/screening room. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this theater when next I'm in the area.

Which on landed on me about 9 times so I was thrilled they could help me make sure I didn't take any hitchhikers out with me. There is a lab where you can see in through a glass window butterflies being created and forming. Folks working there are super nice. It's definitely more kid and family friendly but I do enjoy going on my own and learned some things from the signs. Very pretty space too. The fossil space had a lot of information and I like their put together info about when the animal lived, where fossils were found and more information about the period the animal lived in.

Overall my grandchildren enjoyed the 1.5 hours we were there seeing everything we could see. With the outrageous price for admission, we won't be visiting Thanksgiving Point again.

Our only complaint is we feel some of the dances are inappropriate. (Our kids classes haven't had this) Our last concert had a few dances with very suggestive music and moves for very young girls. And their costumes are at times more revealing then they need to be (coming from someone who danced for 15 years)
