I got to go to 4 BYU home games this year!! This is a great stadium. Always clean. There are many different types of food vendors to choose from. Note: bring a card most don't accept cash. I hope to go again next year

Beautiful scenery around the stadium makes it a pretty unique venue for watching football. The in-game experience was really good with a lot of crowd sing-alongs in the breaks and good size video boards. The concourses get a little crowded at halftime and it's a basic bowl stadium but bonus points for the bathrooms being heated and there being hot water available.

Label edwards stadium has an electric environment. With 63,000+ seats, it allows for big energy. They recently installed 2 new massive HD screens that really contribute to the events. It's a great place to experiment football games, concerts, firework shows, fly overs, and more. With the Wasatch mountains as a back drop, it's hard to get more epic than this. There are plenty of concessions, bathroom, and the navigation is very easy to follow. The ONLY reason I give this 4 stars rather than 5 is for limited parking. I really hope that there are more parking structures in this stadiums near future.

Beautiful stadium view of the mountains. The field grass is exceptionally green and well maintained. Stadium is definitely an older venue, but they have worked to maintain it.

Stopped by here when visiting my brother and his family in Utah. I love going here for football games. Rooting for my favorite team. Named after one of the greatest college coaches ever. With a breath taking view of the mountains. Nothing in the world like it.

So right now I'm at the Stadium of Fire event and listening to One Republic and wondering why in the heck I spent the amount of money I did. The sound system sucks. Echo and more echo. Not clear and just doesn't sound right. Poor sound mixing in someone's part. I want my money back! Also, is there a reason the giant monitors have a delay to The sound? Poor planning. We get better sound and giant screen projection during a foot ball game! This sucks.

We had an amazing time at LaVell Edwards Stadium. We went to the Cal-BYU football game. We purchased tickets on line for both the game and parking. It was glorious to be able to park right by the stadium (in Berkeley one must walk for at least 25 minutes to get to the stadium-uphill) Although we were the only Cal ticket holders in our session, everyone we sat by was so very very nice!!! Thanks. And the food - although we dined before dinner, BYU has better food. I liked the prayer and pre-game show. The fireworks was a nice touch. The game was fun (and happy we won). Thanks to BYU for a super fun game and evening.

Seriously one of the most beautiful backdrops in football. They've made some awesome changes to make it more accessible and a better experience. The wifi set up is awesome and when it gets full it's a great place to enjoy a game even if BYU football often disappoints!

    Cougar Tail. Tradition.

Such a nostalgic spot for me. I've had a lifetime of football games and Stadium of Fire shows here, and I'll keep the tradition going. My husband is a HUGE BYU fan and got season tickets this year, which has been awesome. The stadium's setting is beautiful, nestled in the heart of Utah County, surrounded by towering mountains. You can see Y Mountain from the stands. Which is especially fun if the Y is lit up. They keep the stadium clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Their food is decent! Try a Cougar Tail (extra long maple bar), BYU Creamery ice cream (get Graham Canyon), churros and the local food vendors that come (Cupbop is great!). *NOTE: Not only is alcohol not served, caffeinated beverages are also not served. That's right! Hopefully you like Sprite and Powerade.

The stadium might be one of the most picturesque stadiums in all of the countries. They should add some more options as far as food vendors go. They could also improve the product on the field just to make it that much better.

As a college football stadium experience, LaVell Edwards is up there with Notre Dame, Ohio State or Alabama. The BYU Cougars may not have the same history of college football greatness as those programs, but they have created a unique, inviting and amazing stadium experience. First, the crowd -- including the alumni and corporate sections -- knows and loves the stadium traditions. Every time BYU makes a first down, the stadium announcer chimes in "Another Cougar . . ." and the entire stadium (except for the visiting section) yells "First Down!" while chopping their arm forward in imitation of a referee's gesture. And BYU goes out of its way to make visitors feel welcome. The BYU band plays the visiting team's fight song before the game starts (yes, really). Volunteer greeters in suit roam around the stadium prior to games, welcoming visiting fans, engaging in conversation and wishing the visiting team a good game. Honestly, it's a little freaky at first if you're used to SEC intensity/hostility towards visitors. But after awhile, you just can't stop smiling at how nice BYU people are. Then there's the physical features -- LaVell Edwards Stadium is nestled up against the central Utah mountains. Simply put, it's gorgeous. And at sunset, it's as pretty a perch as any with the sun's fading colors playing on the rocky tops. Top that all off with BYU's football program, which consistently puts a top 25 team on the field each year and you've got one of the top college football stadium experiences.

"Is this heaven?" No, it's LaVell Edwards Field at Cougar Stadium. The largest sporting venue in the state of Utah, this stadium comfortably holds over 60,000 on a regular basis. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations up north. No matter who the opponent is, there will always be more people at Cougar Stadium watching an event than anywhere else in Utah. Rest assured, if you come to a game here you will be witnessing one of the most beautiful venues in all of college football. The picturesque stadium is planted at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains and the views are breathtaking. The football played here is even more beautiful. The stadium features an unusual amount and variety of food concessions. And don't forget to try the famous "cougar tail," an almost 3-foot long maple bar that will keep the family satisfied ... at least for the first quarter.

    Go Cougars!!

My favorite stadium. Gorgeous mountains. Parking close by. Lots of food options and bathrooms. I went to games here when I was a little girl, then as a college student and now as an alumni.

Known for many moons as the David O. McKay Events Center, there have been changes in recent years to make room the growth of Utah Valley State College to Utah Valley University. The sound was good, and the importance of good sound can't be underemphasized. And, while I'm guessing that The 1975 brought most of their own show, there is something to be said about a medium-sized college arena handling well the unadulterated wattage surge of a 1000-foot video display and multi-colored lighting brought forth by this massively huge British band. I have been on campus over the years for other events such as Wolverine basketball games and the famed Michael Moore speech in 2004. For those type of events, it works decently and as it should. However bands, unless they are performing in "The Round", will find their fans making awkward angles in their chairs. While I was standing most of the time, sitting and seeing required turning myself 90 degrees left in an unswivelable and uncomfortable circa-1980s arena chair. The parking is maybe the worst I've seen at a concert. No UVU staff managing the traffic; we spent 30 minutes trying to get out, but not moving. This element I give an "F" ... hell, I'll give it a "Z-". Utterly and completely unacceptable. If you want to play with the big boys, UVU, start acting like it. In the end, the concert was great, and I'm sure there will also be great events like this in the future.

It was really hot inside. Once we sat down we were dying of water. My sister saved our seats while I went to get water. I asked an employee where the concession stands were and they only had one that was open which was clear on the other side of the building. Once I got the concession stand the was so dang long since that was the only concession stand open. They had a few vending machines around with water bottles in them that I wanted to use because I didn't want to wait in the long concession line. All the vending machines were turned off. So I had no choice but to stand in line. I waited probably about 45 minutes to 1 hour. I missed the whole opening act. They had 1 freaking person so the register!! I could t get over it. They weren't selling any water bottles, they said they are only doing cups of water. They had bottle waters in the fridge but weren't selling any. They said people throw them up on stage which I don't get because anyone could throw a big cup of water on stage too. The big cups of water were more expensive than the bottle waters too. Of course. They were $4 for each cup of water. They didn't even out ice in the water. It was the worst. Why would t you have more than one concessions open?? Why wouldn't they have their vending machines on?? Why wouldn't you have more than 1 person doing the register?? It was the worst!!

Two reasons, there is big money here since it is part of the Million Dollar Tour and because of the facilities. Preforming in front of sold out crowds, every rodeo, can not suck either. The highlight of Fiesta Days is the 4 nights of professional rodeo, with great riders, good entertainment and great announcers / clowns. During Fiesta Days they also host the Flag Burning Ceremony for flags that need to be retired. If you have never attended, you are missing a very patriotic event. You can buy tickets online for the events well in advance and get better seats than if you wait. It is also the host of the Utah County Fair for many years now, and seems to grow every year. The monster truck shows and the demolition derby sell out almost as quick as the tickets go on sell. These are "do not miss" events, always a ton of fun. They have smaller arenas and have youth rodeo competitions there almost weekly, as well as farm auctions for animals and equipment. Stalls can be rented for real reasonable prices. Spanish Fork is a big supporter of rodeo, 4H and other such things. I always get tickets for at least a night or two of Fiesta Days Rodeo, monster truck, demotion derby, the bull fights and the May rodeo. Many of the junior events in the smaller arenas are free to the public.

I've been coming to America First Field (formerly Rio Tinto Stadium, affectionately known as "The…read moreRioT") for Real Salt Lake MLS games for over six years now, and it's always a fun experience. The stadium has a great soccer vibe, and the unpadded plastic seats are comfortable enough to enjoy the game for a few hours. There are plenty of snack and drink options, though be prepared for the typical stadium prices that are on the high side. If you're flexible, waiting for last-minute seats can sometimes score you a bargain, which is always nice. The stadium does have some accessibility challenges for ADA and wheelchair users. There's only one place to store mobility scooters, so if your seats are on the opposite side of the stadium, it can be quite a trek. It definitely helps to have someone with you. I had to ride and drop my mom's scooter when the two of us went to a Real Salt Lake game last summer, which was a bit cumbersome but still manageable with planning. The stadium is well laid out and there isn't a truly terribly seat in the whole venue. It's designed perfectly so it's easy in and easy out, and I have zero complaints about the game day experience over the years. The team store is terrific as well, with tons of great merchandise if you need to get outfitted as a fan. While the name is now pretty generic and boring, America First Field is a solid spot for MLS soccer. It captures that local soccer energy perfectly, and I always have a great time cheering on Real Salt Lake despite the minor accessibility hurdles and pricey concessions.
