Love that you can get some cheep eats for the kids. Basic pretzel, water, popcorn, hot dog...all things that won't break the bank. Side note the more posh hotdog was maybe one of the best I've had in an arena. -They are doing a great job at growing the game of hockey there. Walking around with signs and buttons. They did a jersey exchange too in the playoffs, well done. -Killer pregame show. Got the crowd going and the place was buzzing, spa cool atmosphere. Less than amazing: -There wasn't any hard alcohol to be found or maybe we missed it. -Hockey games like ours did that follow a Jazz game the day before start at 8pm local.....that's late for kids and families. -The end seats are STEEP so be prepared. The don't do any crowd work on the ends because of it I assume.

Figured why not check out Nine Inch Nails somewhere besides our hometown, San Diego…read more It was my long weekend off from work & just a quick flight. After we snagged our tickets online, I began to read what the arena policies are. Cashless (Ok, not a big problem. Even though I prefer to pay cash). But, a NO bag policy?! ( NO purses. Diaper & Medical bag allowed. As long as they are no longer than 14"x 14"x 16"). - Ughhh! Then, you read the FAQs. That way you can find out which entrance your allowed bag will be X Rayed at. Clutches will be allowed- but, must be no larger than 4"x 6"x 2"'. I thought my already smallest purchased see thru purse would work- good thing I actually checked the measurements before we left town. It didn't. And yes, I had a tape measure at home checking dimensions. Since I was wearing an equalizer medical boot- and parked at the Japanese Church of Christ ($30/ event parking. CASH ONLY)- we entered the arena at the Stockton Drive & 100 S entrance. Can't remember which DOOR number. But, it was very disappointing to see nothing but steps (with handrails ). I was in such pain to walk further out of my way to look for a ramp nearby. I took my sweet time getting to the arena entrance. At least there were multiple lanes for guests to utilize. Staff was polite to point us towards the right direction- Terrace Concourse Level 5. And elevators were nearby. From the main corridors to the women's bathroom, everything was clean and tidy. We just got bottled water and a pretzel with extra cheese. And skipped out on NIN merch lines. The concert was great.

I've been coming to America First Field (formerly Rio Tinto Stadium, affectionately known as "The…read moreRioT") for Real Salt Lake MLS games for over six years now, and it's always a fun experience. The stadium has a great soccer vibe, and the unpadded plastic seats are comfortable enough to enjoy the game for a few hours. There are plenty of snack and drink options, though be prepared for the typical stadium prices that are on the high side. If you're flexible, waiting for last-minute seats can sometimes score you a bargain, which is always nice. The stadium does have some accessibility challenges for ADA and wheelchair users. There's only one place to store mobility scooters, so if your seats are on the opposite side of the stadium, it can be quite a trek. It definitely helps to have someone with you. I had to ride and drop my mom's scooter when the two of us went to a Real Salt Lake game last summer, which was a bit cumbersome but still manageable with planning. The stadium is well laid out and there isn't a truly terribly seat in the whole venue. It's designed perfectly so it's easy in and easy out, and I have zero complaints about the game day experience over the years. The team store is terrific as well, with tons of great merchandise if you need to get outfitted as a fan. While the name is now pretty generic and boring, America First Field is a solid spot for MLS soccer. It captures that local soccer energy perfectly, and I always have a great time cheering on Real Salt Lake despite the minor accessibility hurdles and pricey concessions.

We got front row parking and everyone was so nice and helpful in the entrance we went in. They have some really good food/drink options at the stadium like jdawgs and fizz as well as the basics (churros, kettle corn, pretzels, etc). My one big complaint is that all their sodas are in plastic bottles rather than the fountain much I would prefer. I would also recommend sitting on the west side of the stadium to enjoy the Mountain View's. Absolutely stunning. Also the Royals won!!! Wooo!! Go Royals!

The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The food choices were amazing. I walked around and saw they had Mexican street corn, watermelon with tajin, Vietnamese bowls, pizza, candy straws, flavored ice, and I ended up with a beef sausage. The folks in line recommended polish, but they were sold out. I got the beef and fries. My picture looks funny bc I don't eat bread. There is a bar for pickles, Jalapeños, onions, sauerkraut and sauces. I indulged on these pickles. It was delicious and well worth it, especially with the fries.

Out of the 3 World Finals I have been to, I disliked this one the most. The Monster track setup was actually pretty cool. I felt for a Monster Jam World Finals the venue itself was a little small compared to the other venues we had visited. With that many people the hallways became a little hard to navigate during intermissions with all the people in line for food and beverages. There were not a lot of good options for kids for food. A little disappointed there was not a dip 'n dots inside the stadium for the little kids. Also thought it was weird that the beverage even for soda was cutoff at 8:30 maybe that's Utah thing. We had tickets in section W08 which was nice because it was on the shaded side of the stadium. The seats in the stadium are bleachers except in a few sections. Our view for the event was really good. Overall, we had a good time the venue just was not as good as others we had been to. My Rating : BETTER.

Our seats were behind one of the goals, so we had the net in our view, but it allowed us to see the action close to the keeper. The arena was surprisingly warm. I just felt like an ice arena would be a little cooler than normal. I'm not complaining, but it took me by surprise. When we got there the game had just barely started. I learned that they give the teams courtesy to not walk up and down the aisles as the puck is in play. Good to know... thanks for the head's up, Mr. Usher! The game wasn't too packed, but it was still full of energy! I was glad to have run into my favorite HCI lab person, Josh! We all had a blast!
