Review is for a man working in 8/30 in the afternoon around 4pm!…read more We stopped by looking for some hiking hats and couldn't find any in the store. I stopped someone while he was walking the hallways, not knowing he was assisting someone else, and he pointed me to a section of the store before continuing to help the other customer. When I got to the section, he was magically there to tell us of the three types of "hiking hats" they have in the store. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I wanted in stock but he also followed up with some nearby stores. Super helpful - made our trip so much faster! Thanks so much!

I had a very disappointing experience shopping here on Father's Day…read more My son was using gift cards to purchase his birthday present and accidentally miscalculated his total after adding a $63 pack of football cards. When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.

She was incredibly sweet and genuinely helpful with sizing. I love this location (plus it's in my hometown), and experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back!

On Sunday, August 24, 2025, around 3:45-4:00 PM, we visited the Adidas store at Santa Anita Mall …read more While inside, my 3-year-old son was holding his father's hand and touched the shoe display rack. The sharp edge of the fixture cut off part of his thumb, causing severe bleeding and intense pain. He cried uncontrollably, and we rushed him to La Verne Medical Urgent Care for treatment. I have attached photos taken after the wound was cleaned. Before treatment, there was heavy bleeding, which was very distressing for him and for us as parents. I am deeply shocked and disappointed that a major brand like Adidas would allow such hazardous store fixtures in a family-friendly environment. This unsafe design not only harmed my child but also poses a danger to other customers. My son has now suffered both physical injury and emotional trauma because of this preventable incident.

Their free scan to analyze your feet was so cool and so in depth -- it shows your feet and gave all kinds of measurements from your size, arch height, heal depth, and more. While I got my feet scanned, the worker, Talia, was so knowledgeable and took her time in explaining to me and my friends information on our feet based on the scans. Talia was so sweet and when all of us (there were 3 of us in total) asked for shoe recommendations she took out three shoes for each of us based on what she thought would be good for us! She listened to our needs and what we liked and didn't like based on the shoes we tried on and then gave more recommendations based on what we said. This place is so cool, there was no pressure to buy anything either which I appreciate and we were to try out everything we wanted to. While the prices were high, you can really feel the quality of everything from the shoes to the socks. I ended up buying 2 pairs of socks after speaking to Talia about my issue when I run. I highly recommend this place!

I consider myself somewhat of a sneaker head except I'm very picky!!…read more Yesterday I decided to go to West Covina mall and buy myself a pair shoes I can use for basketball. I looked at couple different stores I found myself at Finishline. I walk in, and one of the sales associates walks up to me with a big smile. She asked what she could do for me and I said I was looking for some basketball shoes she walked me over to work they keep the most premier basketball shoes. After chatting for a few minutes about the different shoes and the comfort and popularity of some of them I tried on the new Kyrie fours Super comfortable but my surprise came when she took the shoes out of the box and unlaced both pairs and put And some new gel Insoles.. I was very surprised by that and I haven't felt that kind of customer service from any kind of shoe retail place. I ended up purchasing a pair what the insoles and we spoke about another pair but I wanted to see footlocker to see what they offer, once I get to Footlocker I was completely ignored and I finally got someone's attention, I tried on two pairs new LeBron's and also the new Kevin Durant both of them were very uncomfortable reasonably priced but very uncomfortable. So I decided to go back to Finishline to make my second purchase I get there unfortunately they didn't have my size in the shoes that I wanted but the lady thad was helping me (her name is Andrea) I guess she's a manager there. she was so helpful so professional and very informative.
