Bailey's Auto was an amazing experience for me. I had tried to replace my serpentine belt when I…read morerealized that my tensioner pulley was broken and missing. When I tried to remove the bolt to replace the pulley the bolt snapped in two and I realized that I needed a mechanic. I was nervous because I have not had very good experiences at the other auto mechanics I have tried in this area. So I started making calls and asking for very "ballpark" estimates on what it would cost to fix the problem and replace the belt. As I explained what I had done to the guy at Baileys, he finished my sentence knowing exactly what must have happened. There ballpark figure was much less than the other places I had called. On top of all that I asked if I could possibly have the work done by the next day since I needed it for work and he replied that if I could get it in within the next 20 minutes they would have it done in the same day. It was already 3:30! The job ended up being a little bit more complicated than expected but I wasn't surprised since my ol' '96 Buick has had a rough go of it. When they realized this, they called me with a fair quote and an explanation of the problem and steps to fix it. He said that he should be able to have it done by 9:30am the next morning which was plenty of time for me to make it to work. The next morning I got the call that the car was ready right on time and said that I would be over as soon as I could find a ride. He asked me where I lived and if I would like him to pick me up and bring me to the shop!! I accepted the offer and he showed up promptly to pick me up. When we got to the shop he showed me what had been done and even gave me advice on how to fix a different issue myself. Then he went over the bill and explained everything. He had replaced a part for free because I had a plastic piece which tends to crack and he put a metal one in its place. The job had been done very well and the bill was about half of what the other shops' "ballpark" estimates where. LONG-SHORT: I was very happy with my experience at Baileys and I felt treated fairly, kindly, and honestly. If you are looking for a good auto mechanic and are worried about being taken advantage of: give Baileys a call! Thanks Baileys for a great experience!

It took them over a week to fix (it's a 3 hours job). The alignment was botched and the steering wheel was not straight when it was returned to me. When I called them back to correct the issue, the service advisor informed me I can certainly bring the truck back... but they intend to KEEP the truck until my previous bill was paid by my warranty company. Shocked, I called the warranty company to see what was going on. They told me the dealer would not accept their payment due to having to run it through through a credit card service (100% of 3rd party warranties do this with 0 problems at other dealers). Apparently, Tyler did not want to pay the 3% fee for the transaction. Why this was not added to the cost (to me) I will never know. But Tyler would not accept payment and told me they would KEEP my truck until I PAID the full bill (I had already paid the deductible upon completion of the service that day). I wrote to the Service Manager with this problem, hoping to find a solution that worked for everyone. No reply. I emailed the General Manager. No reply. I then emailed Scott Tyler directly to tell him how his customer was being treated, because if it was my business, I would certainly want to know. No reply. I told them all in my email that I was reaching out to correct the issue in order to not have to do what I am doing today, which is share negative feedback with all social media and RamCares. Since there was nothing after several weeks of trying, here we are. And my steering wheel is still crooked, which I will now have to pay someone else to fix.
