GoShare is a scam! Do not attempt to use this so-called service. You will not get any help, and you will lose money.

Hello, I'm writing…read moreto share feedback regarding our recent service, which was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. We were initially told to expect a one-hour delivery window between 3-4pm, and planned our day accordingly. Shortly before 3pm, we were informed the timing would shift to a 4pm pickup and closer to a 5pm delivery. In reality, the delivery did not occur until nearly 6pm. This caused significant disruption. Our building has a strict 5pm cutoff for deliveries, and we had to scramble to accommodate the delay. I had arranged coverage at work based on the original window and ended up losing additional time and income. The sellers also had to adjust their plans and wait around for most of the day. What was especially frustrating was being told--without acknowledgment of the inconvenience--that the only remedy offered was a $10 discount. We later learned that our job had been added at the last minute, and we were not actually scheduled, which helps explain the delays but does not excuse the lack of communication. I do want to note that the delivery team themselves were excellent--this is not a reflection on them. Given the nature of our work, we frequently require reliable moving services, including for art and mid-century pieces, and had hoped to establish a dependable relationship. Unfortunately, this experience has made that difficult. At a minimum, we would appreciate a more meaningful acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, along with consideration of a partial refund or credit toward a future service. Without that, we would not feel comfortable using or recommending your company moving forward.

I shopped around to a few local moving companies, but the 2 hour minimum and associated price wasn't ideal. schlep to the rescue!!! Morgan and Oscar weren't deterred and didn't give up; trying various maneuvers until they got my sectional to the main level. It's so nice having an option for those smaller moves, either in the house or around town! I will definitely be using Schlep again!

I was moving to a different unit within the same building, so just needed some "labor only" help…read moreand was recommended to Dolly. I used their online system, which I felt was convenient and straightforward, to book 2 helpers for 2 hours. I was immediately confirmed by Dolly but then also by the helpers assigned to me. They communicated to me primarily through text but on the day of the move they also called to let me know when exactly they'd arrive (which was ~30 mins later than the original scheduled time). As soon as they got to my apartment, they quickly and professionally got to work. I was helping alongside them so was able to observe how they handled my furniture and I felt it was generally with care (for example: they avoided banging into walls and doorframes). During freight elevator runs, we made polite small talk and they seemed like good guys. While it only took 1.5 hours and I booked for 2, I still paid the full $200 plus $20 each for tip. I would probably use them again if I had labor needs. Otherwise, for a full move, I'd probably go with a full-service professional moving company.

This was easily one of the worst experiences I've had with a moving service…read more If you're in Chicago, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I contacted the company multiple times before my move to confirm that the helpers were scheduled and confirmed. Despite my concerns, I was repeatedly assured that everything was set. When moving day arrived, the helpers never answered their phones, and there was no way to message them directly. To make matters worse, there is no direct customer service phone number for Taskrabbit. After reaching out for assistance, I received an email telling me to wait an additional 45 minutes beyond the scheduled arrival time, which was already frustrating. After waiting, the helper was ultimately canceled anyway. What makes this especially disappointing is that I had scheduled this move more than a month in advance. The lack of communication, reliability, and customer support made an already stressful moving day much worse. I would not use this service again. They wouldn't reimburse me for my time wasted. The move was messed up and I owed extra fees to my building and had to pay a premium to find people last minute Kouko was the name of my mover
