I called in to report that a filter housing blew apart--the bottom of the canister literally separated, something I have never seen before. When I spoke with a representative named Matt, I was having a hard time hearing him. I mentioned that and repeated what I thought he said, but instead of helping, he decided to yell at me with a rude attitude. When I asked to be transferred to someone else since he was clearly having a bad day, he hung up on me. This is what I've gathered: this company will not stand behind their products and doesn't even want to hear about it. Mind you, this is the very first time I've had an issue after spending thousands of dollars with them over the years. Instead of support, I was met with disrespect. He advised they could come check the water softener and change my filters together the very next day! Paul the tech arrived promptly first thing the next morning. He tested my water and explained the readings to me. He also found the source of the problem with the water softener very quickly and had the part available on his truck. He repaired it, then explained in detail what the problem was. I really appreciated his thoroughness and for telling me more about my unit. As per their warranty (7 years parts and labor), the water softener repair was no charge and the filters with installation were ~$150. I continue to be very pleased with Cooper's and their staff.

Weeks went by. When I called the 4th time to reschedule and threatened to cancel the contract, Aqua responded by email they would cancel my contract as they have few customers in my area. I called Aqua to say I had prepaid for maintenance that they did not provide. Aqua agreed to refund 3 months of fees. I would not recommend this company because of poor customer service.
