When I questioned it, he then said he would go ahead and clean it at no charge, and the process took only a few minutes. When I called afterward to clarify why this happened, I spoke with the owners. Unfortunately, the conversation was difficult -- I felt talked over, and the responses came across as defensive. I did not feel that my concerns about the service or the upsell attempt were listened to or addressed. Based on my experience, I would recommend that others consider this factor when choosing a service provider.

He observed there was a lot of offset tension on the gas line connection to the furnace due its improper installation when the furnace was originally installed. He used a flexible gas line connector to alleviate the issue (see photo) and was very meticulous to ensure the new pipe had no leaks. Furthermore, he applied additional stabilizers to ensure the pipe was properly secured. I certainly appreciate his attention to detail and his outstanding professionalism to make my furnace safer and more efficient. Griffin Halls demonstrated superior skills and willingness to go the extra distance to help his customers brings great credit upon himself and the Good Guys HVAC company. Blocked dryer vents can cause house fires, and now I'm at lower risk because I've had the vent cleaned. I called our regular HVAC company and they don't do vent cleaning. I called another HVAC company that we've used and their price seemed high. I discovered Family on Google and their had exceptionally high ratings so I called. Not only were they super friendly and kind, they were able to get me in the very next day and at a very reasonable price. Clay, the service tech, was on time and super personable.
