Continuously disappointed 1) Horrible wait time I made an appointment for my sister and me in advance, and it took them 1 hr 15 min after arriving at the appointment time to finally see us. There was no one else in line. They were inattentive until my sister eventually left after an hour. 2) Bad quality Every time I've come here, my nails have chipped a few days afterwards, using shellac previously and now powder. The only reason I went back to this salon for my last visit was because I was given a gift certificate. The nails in the photos are from 2-4 days after the manicure. When I came in to have the areas fixed, the same staffer re-did the nails and mentioned that the nail coat was weak. Probably because she rushed the first job since they left us waiting for over an hour. The staffer worked hard to re-do my nails. Not her fault that management is poorly run, and they are understaffed. read more

I think my previous review was a bit harsh.. for the most part all th ladys work really hard. I have a few girls that i make appointments now with. Mea is one. You can find the right one for you. I like this place more and mor every time i come.. I also stared using shellac so that helps a lot to last longer. read more

She was very thorough, especially in removing my cuticles, and she was patient with me when I wanted my color changed mid set. I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. The work itself is pretty good. Other than that, there was nothing special about this place. Also, the massages were less than good. Really disappointing when the massage is half the reason you get a pedicure! My manicurist was Mia, sweet, and did a good job. But paid no attention to me until after the pedicurist was done, so I can only say the customer service was average. I have been to many nail salons, and this one just did not impress 2 week UPDATE: - my pedicure is still flawless! No chips at all and looks great! I am so impressed - my shellac fingernails are falling apart. Not just chipping... Entirely peeling off... And have been since about day 4. This is my first visit to Gorgeous Nails. Stacy was my technician and she was amazing. Probably one of the top 3 pedicures that I have ever had. They were very good on their Covid-19 protocol. I got my eye brows waxed AND SHE BURNT MY EYELIDS SO BAD. I have HUGE red marks on my eyelids and it hurts so bad. And my eyelids are bubbling because the burns are so bad. I had to get them for vacation now I look horrible. I will never go back. Horrible experience. read more

way to expensive and NOT CLEAN! I got my nails done and had paint all over my fingers and didn't even bother to clean up the paint and just scraped it off which just made the polish spread. They look horrible. I made a appointment and I had to sit for around 30mins just for my toes and nails to be painted. With all the virus going around, I would assume they would be cautious and make us be 6ft apart but they sat a lady right NEXT TO ME!! like not even two seats down or anything?? Didn't even clean the seats after people got up from getting their feet done and after she was done with me, she moved the cart next to the lady and gave her the SAME exact tools she used for me! That's so unsanitary and not clean and gross....can't imagine who touched the tools before me. It's not even all about being cautious because of corona, that's basic stuff you don't do! gross, never coming back. read more

I have only been here once so my experience is not "one for the books" but I liked my visit here. I got a shellac/gel manicure and it turned out so nicely! The location is a little hidden within Cypress and walking in is refreshing, since the interior has been designed beautifully. The lady who did my nails was nice and we held a small conversation, not awkward either which is always a relief. Their services are a bit pricey but it's all about the location. My fiancé wanted to treat us to a pedicure so I thought hey...let's try something new. Uhhh. Big disappointment. The pedicure specialist mostly talked on her phone the entire time he was being serviced. The first apology oh ok hey things happen with your family that you must attend to. We're all human, but when it became a continuous issue. They apologies aren't sincere at this point. I on the other hand had a VERY professional and experienced technician. Walked in & asked for pedi & gel mani. Felt very rushed, wasn't allowed to pick color for toes, I wanted different color than on fingers. They told me to pick from gel colors. I picked a burgundy & she brought over bright red. I wanted to pick toe color from wall display, she was in too much of a hurry to start pedi. Ended up using gel color on my toes, which I guess was ok. Just wanted more options. The massage part of the pedi was a joke, could barely feel it. The woman doing the gel mani did a sloppy job, left polish on my skin around my nails. I got the impression that they didn't want to wait on me. Don't know why they were so rushed, they weren't busy at all, a lot of them sitting around doing nothing. Plenty of other places to go. read more
