Staff are very friendly and they do whatever they can to make sure you have a relaxing enjoyable experience. 1) They take their time and make sure they give you the best pedicure. 2) They give you a four minute massage on your legs and feet with no additional cost. 3) While your feet are drying, they give you a lovely ten minute back and neck massage. 4) They don't rush you to pay and or to tip. They let you finish drying. 5) When you're finished they wrap plastic wrap on your nails so it stays awesome and they help you put on your socks and shoes. Overall they are the best nail salon in Brooklyn. If you're in the Gravesend neighborhood and want your nails done, I highly recommend Sugar Spa!

When I say Vicky is the best, she is top tier. I've consistently done my nails for the past idr how…read moremany years at this point and no one has come close to Vicky's shaping technique (I get UV gel nails for context). I've outgrown the fancy designs, shells, crystals, gold foil, etc, and come to realize the ability to shape the nails perfectly goes such a long way. While Vicky is capable of creating the designs I coveted in the past, she is truly a master of her craft when it comes to shaping and UV gel technique. I kid you not, when covid-19 shut the city down, the UV gel on my nails would not budge for the next two months. I basically had to cut them off to remove them. I've followed her ever since she was at Glorious nails' old location to their new location and now her own establishment. To be honest, I've cheated on her a couple times because I don't live in the immediate area, but I always find myself coming back to her. Frankly, no one does it like Vicky does.

It seemed like a clean place and quite big for a nail salon. There was a lot of workers there so I didn't have to wait at all for my turn, which is unusual for me. I got a male nail technician, which was also a first for me. He took his time in cleaning my cuticle and left my nails looking clean and shiny. I loved the options they had for nail color since there was variety and ended up going with a shimmering light blue nail polish. It started to chip after 3 days but it was pretty nonetheless. It was a bit pricey for $15.

It's like 2 squeezes and that's it but I'm not here for a massage so I'm not mad!! I think what keeps me coming back besides Kim is the level of professionalism in the salon, I've never had any issues here. My appointments always start on time and they accommodate me if I'm late. The only negative which took away a star is they don't do designs here, French at best but that's it. I've tried cat-eye and chrome and it just didn't look that good. They could also use a larger gel color selection. If you want a basic mani/pedi this place is for you, but if you're a design girlie go elsewhere.
