Had the best blow out and makeup session with Daniela!! The blow out came with a shampoo. She did a head massage too that was nice. She gave me a blow out that looked great! It wasn't like other blowouts where you find a look in their magazine to mimic but she was open to any photos I had! I also got full makeup for my engagement photos! I knew I wanted a natural look but she had me find a photo online for inspiration so she knew exactly what to do. She did a wonderful job!!! It was drug-store makeup but turned out great and she made sure to use the correct shades for my skin. She gave me fake lashes too. She even touched up my blow out at the end to make sure it was fresh. She made sure I knew to tell her if I didn't like something. I was coming into a bit of a time crunch at the end and told her and she did everything she could to get me finished quick but still not skimp on anything. Would definitely go back! read more

I booked a last minute airbrush tanning session for today since my son is getting married this Wednesday. I wanted to get rid of my pale ghostly white legs(and the rest of my body too). The session was super fast and I love the results. I didn't want to look like a bronze goddess that would be too far out from the every day me. My color looks great-so natural. Every now and then I want someone else to quickly dry my hair for me and style it. No reason except I just don't feel like doing my own hair. This is where Gorgeous Glo comes in. It's very close to my home and I can usually get in on a weekend afternoon fairly easily. I opt for the Express blowout which is $30.00. This last time I asked for beachy waves so she styled my hair with a flat iron after the dry to give me that look. In and out in 25 minutes! They use Bumble and Bumble products. No frills and nothing super fancy in the salon but it's what I am looking for when I just want my hair dried. They also offer spray tanning which I haven't done. They have multiple Charlotte locations. My hair looked cute the next day so with a few minutes of touch up, I was out the door! read more

I went to the location in South Park before heading out of town. Knowing I'd be making a visit to Florida on the last leg of my vacation, I didn't want to show up to the beach nearing the end of summer with no tan, so I opted for a spray tan. I've used the Versa Spa and Mystic spray tans in the past and had mixed results, so I was pleased that this company actually has a person to spray you with color. This defiantly made for an over, even tan. I was even more impressed by the lasting color I received. To my surprise, the color lasted for four days and I'm sure it could have lasted longer, but by day five I was on the beach where the sun created a tan that covered what was left of my spray tan. I went to the south park location yesterday for Hair and makeup up. I needed to get in early and they were quite accomodative of that fact and we started at 8.30. Hair blowout - It was at best average, nothing extraordinary. I guess I wanted more so.mo biggie. Make up - this was the area I was most disappointed with. They had no selection of foundations barely 2 shades dark and light. So they ended up with a mix which made me look more darker. Under eye concealment sucks. Eyeshadow even worse. So called winged liner they have no clue, my one wing was noticeably long than the other. No contouring or highlighting done. No lipstick done, just really pissed off with the way it was done. For the amount I spent, I would have a better job on my self than what they did. I wanted more professional work and unfortunately I came home to fix my make up because it was so messed up. I wouldn't recommend them for make up at all. They use dirty brushes and have no selection on colors or anything. Rachel did my make up and she just didn't know what to do. read more

I went to have a tan for a special event - I think the tan was great and it was wonderful for my event. I thought this was great, however one thing I was concerned about was that they didn't offer a hair cap. This was my first spray tan and all of my friends said that they would give me a hair cap. But, even though they didn't give me a hair cap - it didn't seem to be a problem. This spray tan was so great..It looked great for at least 4 days and I did not get scaly and dry like other friends have at other places. I will definetly go back to this place.
