When she contacted the staff shortly after her visit, they were very short, extremely unhelpful and said they had no idea who tanned after her, tanned that day nor who cleaned the bed after she left but would look around. The police are now involved and I will continue to explore ever avenue in hopes to find it. Although my daughter should have been more responsible, I was told by the regional manager people leave things quite often (rings, wedding bands, etc) but they never saw her necklace (there is No way one could miss it... see photo) It is very unsettling how the manager and staff handled the situation and their lack of compassion towards what was stolen is so disheartening. I have a membership at PBT in Ohio and every time I go in, the staff always ask me if they found it.

They said they could not card info on the phone. I called again a month later to explain I was not "there" and that I needed to update and again, they said they could not. I decided to let it sit and, as advised, I thought I would just update and continue my membership as the money paid in would cover most of my monthly membership. When I arrived there today (2-16) the lady who took my $60 failed to tell me prior that my membership and terminated. She then told me that after 3 declines from a card results in that. So I asked why I was made to suffer when this was a company decision and not my fault. I told them that this was taking money on false pretenses. I advised that I would visit my SECU and have them take the money back. My decision now is to leave that charge on to remind me not to use them again. So based on the decisions of "corporate" I paid $60 for nothing! That will never happen again. David N

Having traveled the world and now based in Charlotte. I have been accustomed to Zoe's talent of being a phenomenal spray tan artist as my only choice WORLDWIDE!!!!! UNFORTUNATELY since realizing that Zoe is NO LONGER at Gorgeous Glo. I subjected myself to a trial run with Catherine. As I predicted from Catherine's MANORS and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Catherine unloaded UNNECESSARY HOME DRAMA during my service. (Example: Her and her husband's DRAMA) I found myself LET DOWN!!!! No one wants to hear that let alone have a STREAKY 2 DAY TAN.... I then searched for ZOE and found her!!! I was VERY IMPRESSED to find that she branched out on her own from her mentor (Original Owner of Gorgeous Glo; Karen) to VANITY GLO located at 1920 Cleveland Ave, Charlotte NC 28203 After CAREFUL CONSIDERATION of posting this I was very hesitant. I want to always give businesses and spa goers the CORRECT INFORMATION. The turning point of my decision was when I attempted to go to WWW.VANITYGLO.COM website, to learn that Gorgeous Glo had BOMBARDED Zoe's business in a DISRESPECTFUL MANOR! What I did find is that Vanity Glo website is www.vanityglocharlotte.com I have been a LOYAL and HONEST CLIENT and I will continue to do so!!!! read more

I'm not sure who I texted with as they never asked my name or gave me theirs. I booked a 10am appointment the day before my trip and the woman opening the place was late. She came in with no acknowledgement of me, on a very loud phone call and unlocked the door. She stayed on the phone while I had a seat in the waiting area and continued to open the salon. After about 10 mins she finally spoke to me asking if I was here for a spray tan (still had her cell phone to her ear) then she went back to finally set up the spray tan area. The whole process was very quick and when I mentioned a cover for my white nail polish she brushed it off and told me they would be fine. Surprise! My manicure was ruined with a brown stain over them. She did not give me a full coverage spray and even after I told her this was only my second time being sprayed gave me no advice or care. The tan itself was not done well. She had a dirty towel she used with the spray machine and could barely work it when we were starting. At the end she put a fan on me and told me to wait 20 seconds and get dressed and was out the door before I could ask a question! Horrible service. Horrible experience. Horrible tan. For $50 I expect a lot more than what I got and will definitely be going anywhere else from now on.
