These people are wretched. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister for her birthday. On the day of her birthday they never delivered the flowers. The next day I called and they told the biggest lie and said that they had left them on the stops of her house. It is important to understand hat she is handicapped and sits by the window most of the day and can see who comes and goes. Likewise, there are cameras all around the perimeter of the house that would have caught someone coming. No one came and they lied. When I called they said they would upgrade the order and deliver it "again". That afternoon someone came to visit my sister and found a small bouquet of flowers in her mailbox! The flowers weren't even placed in a vase. These people are the worst. Use anyone else and for that matter given the crap they delivered you could o to your local supermarket and get the same thing for less. read more

He talked down to me telling me he has no control over the plants he sells. He named called and walked away from me twice. This is the flower shop that delivered my order. I purchased a gorgeous, meticulously set-up Fall arrangement full of orange roses and big, bright pink and orange flowers, and no filler. What my husband received was a cheap bouquet in pastel colors that I could have picked up at the local grocer for ten bucks, shoved haphazardly into a vase. Here's a photo of what my bouquet was supposed to look like versus what I received.... My amazing husband ordered from FromYouFlowers.com and selected a Deluxe (Love is in the Air) bouquet "as shown" that was supposed to have 8 roses, purple alstroemeria and purple Monte Casino blooms filling out the arrangement and a bow around the vase. A nice, full looking bouquet. I received a scraggly looking bouquet with 5 roses, 4 stems of semi-wilted purple alstroemeria and a substitution for the Monte Casino blooms of Purple Statice, which is considered a "filler flower". There is more leaf than there is flowers. I am aware substitutions are normal when ordering from online flower outlets who utilize a network of local florists, but this was a complete rip-off as they substituted the flowers with air. Note: FromYouFlowers.com was rated "Best Overall Quality and Price by CNBC" in 2010. Who would even share that being that it's now 2018? Maybe if you call Gordon Bonetti Florist directly you can get something decent.... but I will never know the answer to that. read more

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option! Do yourself a favor and never step foot in there! I ordered 2 items (prom wristlet and boutonniere) 2 weeks in advance. I was told I would have to prepay, and pay an additional $15 per item to add a succulent. I showed the employee a picture and was very clear that I wanted it just like the picture. I do not care for ribbon or babies breath etc. I was assured they could do it and they would special order the succulents. I was charged $75. On prom day, I went in to pick up my order only to find run-of-the-mill wristlet and boutonniere that I could've gotten at Stop & Shop for a quarter of the price, with babies breath and tacky red ribbon. I told them that that was not my order and pulled up the picture. I asked for my order with the large red rose and succulent. I was rudely told that they don't have any succulents. I reminded them that I paid an additional $30 and was told that they could special order them. There was absolutely no apology, no offer to add something different, nothing but them staring at me. I had to walk around the shop looking to see what they had to substitute. I was getting nowhere with the employee and asked to speak to the older man working there. I asked him if he was the manager. He rudely stated that he was the other employee's father. I told him how very disappointed I was and that it was the 11th hour, and that I had to go and I would really like somebody to fix the wristlet and the boutonniere. His response was, "Miss, there are no flowers in the United States right now!" And walked away. The female employee finally came over with the re-make flowers which looked terrible! I told them that I was extremely disappointed. I told him that they charged me $75, $30 of which went towards succulents that weren't even in either product. The employee rudely opened cash drawer and handed me a $10 bill. I inquired why I had spent an additional $30 that was not refunded. She then told me to have a nice day. The WORST customer service I have ever encountered anywhere, in addition to overcharging and terrible product! Stay away! read more

I received a large gift basket for Christmas. I know it cost the sender well over $100, and it was all discount junk food from Ocean State Job Lot; nothing of any quality. For ex., one item was disgusting "pumpkin moon pies" (the old scooter pies but with pumpkin flavor). Other items I remember were a big box of candy canes. Nothing good like chocolate bars that I would have enjoyed but instead big boxes of crap that cost $2 at Job Lot and take up a lot of room in the basket, such as a giant can of unsalted plain peanuts and big bag of $2 ginger snaps and fake chocolate-covered marshmallows. How disappointing. I let the sender know, and she was embarrassed and felt they'd taken advantage of her because she's elderly; she said she'd never order from there again. Don't come here if you have requests or expect to be able to bring concerns to management. I went in today to get an arrangement, I expressed that I was highly concerned about the safety of my cat and did not want anything in it that is poisonous/toxic to cats. They explained to me that they wouldn't include anything poisonous in my arrangement. When i offered to give them a list of poisonous flowers i did not want included they assured me they knew what was safe for cats because of how long they were in business. I pick up my arrangement, and notice there are several Lilly's when I get home, it's well known that Lilly's are toxic to cats. I called the shop and asked for a manager and expressed that I asked nothing poisonous be included and was promised that would be accommodated. The man got snappy and said his degree or some sort of UCONN study made him knowledgeable about this sort of thing. He said that laws stated that they can't sell poisonous things. I said so many websites including animal poison control state that there are several flowers poisonous to cats. He said this is a myth and i mentioned that so many animals end up in ER's because of something silly like this. He said it would require a cat to eat hundreds of leaves to get poisoned. So instead of accommodating my request that nothing at all poisonous be included, i received small dosages of poison and what they believe my cat can handle. Sure the flowers look nice, but the customer service is ATROCIOUS and these people are not knowledgeable. I find it hard to believe that this business cares about anything other than money because if I expressed my concern about poisonous flowers, in particular Lilly's, they shouldn't have assured me it wouldn't be included. I wasn't looking for a refund when i called, the goal was to get the poisonous flowers swapped out. Instead, I get a man insisting his UCONN study tells me only eating 500 petals will kill my cat. read more

This place only sellls to white people. My wife does cakes and she sometimes does ones with flowers. So we googled this place and the reviews were okay. The guy lied to her when she clearly saw white roses in the available area. He gave us a hassle then told us this are for another customer. Why would they be in the section with other available flowers. I find it hard to be believe alll the white roses were accounted for. Vibes were felt soon as walked through door . Not entirely rude , but little enthusiasm to help my African American wife ,then lied. Like this was our first time in floral shop lol . You don't put the flowers a customer has already bought out on the floor with the rest of "available ones " common sense you take it off the floor since it's technically not available. It's like a car on the lot .!I'm trying to buy but you tell me it's already bought. No dealership will leave a purchased vehicle on the lot . See what I mean . Called to get an attractive arrangement for an anniversary. Asked for an arrangement that is prominently displayed on their website for $59.99. I was told that they couldn't supply that arrangement, but he'd give us a _much smaller_ arrangement for $73.00. When I asked why they couldn't give us the one they advertised, he said that "there are thousands of pictures online", and then hung up. There may, indeed, be "thousands of pictures online," but this was on _their website_! We called another florist (Kim's) and a courteous and friendly woman will be sending a beautiful arrangement for us. read more

Gordon Bonetti Florist truly went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. I had a close friend who lost a child at 32 weeks and during this unexpected tragedy they were able to send them flowers ASAP. I called them on a Friday and the flowers were delivered the following day. What i liked most was that my friend lives in Florida and they had no issues accommodating my needs and wants. I am so appreciative for this shop for working during these tough times because it allowed me to show love to a love one who is far away. Terrible. I went there to request a monthly flower arrangement for my daughter as a house-warming gift. They were supposed to charge my credit card monthly beginning in July. The next day my bank statement showed that they had already submitted 6 pending charges on my card! When I called to ask about it, the man who answered was horrible. Rude, arrogant, sarcastic, just a nasty person. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I cancelled my order. DO NOT order from them. The last thing my grandmother ever received from me was a droopy arrangement of a dozen roses delivered from Bonetti florist. It was at the foot of the bed, possibly the last thing she saw, before she died. I hope she knew I loved her more than those wilting flowers suggested. My family was going to use Bonetti for the funeral flowers, as we always have in the past, but decided against it after seeing the kind of work they're doing nowadays. We instead dropped $2000 at the Flower Box, less than a mile down the street. I will now probably also go to the Flower Box for my wedding this summer. Shame on Bonetti for their shoddy work. Terrible experience all the way around...horrible customer service unprofessional. Received a gift basket from work colleagues after my sister passed away. When I opened it the fruit was rotting and the other food products, like the cheese block and candy bar, were completely melted. When I called the store to let them know what happened, the woman who answered told me she was sorry but that it was hot outside. As an aside, the delivery was made by a man driving an older vehicle with all of the windows opened. She told me they would send out a replacement basket and I should discard what I had received....which I did. I then received a call from the manager who , once again, told me it was hot outside but would replace the basket when the weather was cooler. My house is less than 30 minutes from the florist. When I told him I had discarded the original delivery he chastised me for doing that and told me his employee would never tell me to do such a thing. So I argued with him for a few minutes and then hung up. He subsequently called me back to tell me he had fired the employee who had worked there for 20 years. When I returned the call the same woman answered and when I did speak to him I told him I would not accept anything from his store and that his behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional and the sender cancelled the order. I went to Gordon Bonetti Florist to purchase flowers for a family funeral. I did some research thru their website to what options, colors, sizes and cost before I went to the flower shop to place my order. They were very helpful, courteous and profession with my inexperience with buying flowers for this occasion. I showed them the pic from my phone of what I found and she knew exactly what I wanted and the price was actually less than what I would have paid if I ordered it online. The wake is a sad occasion but I will say the flowers looked beautiful, the arrangement was full and fresh and I am very satisfied with their work and will recommend them to family and friends. read more

We requested a design that was very specific to My siste's Urn. The showed the picture we found on teleflora and said that we wanted that arrangement with burgundy ccokored flower replacing where the purple flowers were in the arrangement. While we were made aware that some of the specific flowered were not available but would be substituted with other flowers, as opposed to fillers and Christmas Berries; which is what we received. In addition, rather than an arrangement that would allow the urn to be cradled with flowers as the picture showed, we receive a huge wreath to place around it with large gaps on all sides. When my sister went in to discuss the issue she was met with an unprofessional demeanor and a failed statenent that her sister had approved all the changes to the arrangement which is simply a lie.
