    Why would they put these flowers in a funeral arrangement like this.

    For the ""AMOUNT OF MONEY"" we paid. We're Not happy with the flowers some of them looked like they where died already. The card didn't say what my husband said. I'm sad this was for my best friends dad's funeral. Already a sad day then to have sad looking flowers and the card doesn't even have her name on it.

I am pleased with their responsiveness. I understand that when you purchase flowers the arrangement isn't going to be an exact match for what is shown on the website. The Flower District will also insure your masterpiece arrives intact with an awesome delivery process insuring the flowers are not left outside at the mercy of the weather. They contact the recipient before delivery and give a reasonable window which they adhere to. There are many places to buy flowers and put a smile on her/his face (yes, many men including me absolutely love when someone sends flowers) but if you want something as truly special and unique as the person you are sending flowers to there is really only one choice, The Flower District.

    Twice my husband bought me flowers from CT Flower Shop and both times the flowers were nearly dead…read morewithin 24 hours. The first time I didn't say anything because I didn't want my husband to feel bad. This time, for Mother's Day, when the flowers were a wilted mess within 24 hours I decided to write to the shop and send photos to give them an opportunity to make it right with a refund or replacement, particularly since my husband spent over $180 to have this arrangement delivered. (By the way, the arrangement is appallingly overpriced at $144 and my husband prepaid a hefty delivery fee and an additional very large tip of $20). Although she has promised to send another arrangement today to replace it, she had the audacity to say next time I should follow the instructions and give it water because she claimed there was no water in that vase when in fact it was 3/4 full of water still. The photos provided in my email were close-ups of the wilted flowers and didn't show the vase. I couldn't believe how insulting her response was, trying to deflect blame on the customer. I sent her a response with an additional photo of the full vase of water.... did she think a bouquet of flowers was going to drink nearly half-gallon of water in 12 hours since delivery????? We regularly give businesses second chances, often more, but when a business blames the customer without evidence/justification that's a deal breaker for me. I told my husband just now that he should never use that florist again. I'd rather have no flowers than get poor quality, overpriced flowers from a place that would insult customers like this. Follow up -- in a subsequent email response to me when I had told her that I didn't appreciate her insulting comment, she accused me of refilling the vase after the fact and claimed that my original photo proves it, and refers to me as "triggered". I've added a photo of this communication. And, the first two photos I had attached to this review are what I had sent her (not the one focused on the vase which I sent her after she insulted me). I'm adding to this review a duplicate of the one photo I had sent her and I've added a notation pointing to the water line in that photo - the photo she's claiming shows there's no water. Can you imagine an arrangement drinking over half a gallon of water within like 18 hours LOL. Her behavior in this situation is appalling. 5/13 @ 12:37pm ET: Adding my response to the florist's comment below: She has been repeatedly rude. After making crazy accusations and calling me triggered in email, I told her to not bother sending a new arrangement and instead to send my husband a refund. She was given the opportunity to make it right with my outreach and she chose to be incredibly rude and insulting and direct blame at me rather than just graciously taking accountability like a professional would. After her repeated insults I decided I prefer to not have her come to my house at this point. I've never had to write a bad florist review in all the years my wonderful husband has had flowers sent to me at least 3x/year...till this terrible encounter with this rude woman.

    STAY AWAY - Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced…read more I ordered flowers for my mother's 70th birthday because I couldn't be there to celebrate with her. Since she's currently battling cancer, I specifically chose the Gordon Bonetti's "Pretty Please" Deluxe Bouquet because of its beautiful pink flowers and large pink bow. I wanted something special to brighten her day and support a local business. Unfortunately, what arrived looked nothing like the arrangement I ordered. There was no bow, very few pink flowers, and the balloon was simply tied around the vase. It honestly looked like someone grabbed a handful of flowers from a discount grocery store and dropped them into a vase. I called several times and left messages but received no response. When I finally reached someone on Tuesday, Mary was extremely rude and showed no empathy whatsoever. She told me someone would call me back, but no one did. The following day, I called again and asked to speak with a manager. Mary said no one was available. When I mentioned that I would leave a negative review due to the lack of communication, she suddenly put me on hold and transferred me to a gentleman who apologized and assured me that the flowers would be replaced and that I would receive a credit. At that point, I thought the situation had been resolved. The replacement flowers arrived and looked much closer to what I originally ordered. A credit also appeared on my account. However, the very next day, my account was charged again for the arrangement. I called once more. When Mary answered, I politely asked who I was speaking with, and she hung up on me. When I called back and explained that I was a customer and that the call had been disconnected, she responded by saying I hadn't identified myself as a customer when she answered. I was then transferred to Jennifer, who was the only person throughout this entire experience who seemed professional and reasonable. She apologized, told me the issue would be corrected, and said Brett would call me. Once again, no one called. When I followed up again, I spoke with John. Unfortunately, his attitude was even worse. He repeatedly interrupted me, called me a liar, and denied that I had ever been promised a credit. Rather than listening to my concerns, he repeatedly asked, "Do you want to pay for the flowers, yes or no?" This was never about getting free flowers. It was about understanding why my account had been charged again without any explanation, communication, or courtesy. Instead of addressing the issue, I was treated with disrespect and hostility. Eventually, I told John to keep the money and that I would be reporting the business to the Better Business Bureau. His response was, "Good luck, I'm on the board." This entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. As a small local business owner, I would expect John to understand the importance of customer service and communication. Instead, I encountered rudeness, poor follow-up, and a complete lack of accountability. Jennifer was the only employee who demonstrated professionalism throughout this ordeal. I wanted to support a local business. Looking back, I wish I had gone with 1 800 flowers
