Absolutely delicious Cali burrito (bigger than my beer!) and rice bowl. The chips and dip were fresh and very appetizing. Staff was wonderful and smiling. Beautiful views and dog friendly outside!

I was thinking this would be the common food truck/brewery combo, but it's actually a built-in restaurant within the brewery. The food was one of the best meals we've had out recently -- some creative twists on the menu, fast and friendly service, fresh ingredients and delicious salsas and sauces. The portion sizes were ample, so we'll be turning the leftovers into nachos for dinner! One word of caution: don't be fooled by the Baja Blast -- it's just not as good as the fountain drink version. That's no knock against Gordingo's, just how it is, but there are many other beverage options (alcoholic and otherwise) in the building!

The cashier was able to help with the menu choices. Several of the menu items are large and can be shared with 2 to 3 individuals.

A lot of cafes in and around the greater Asheville area have a similar vibe. Small, hip, no frills, friendly and welcoming. You'll notice all the framed rave reviews on the wall inside and the website boasts its 16 year reign as #1 restaurant in Brevard, and the menu definitely lives up. We started with the Bavarian Pretzel (which was actually recommended to us by the server at the chocolate shop across the alleyway.) It was very much the right way to go. The pretzel is adorned with several meats, slices of cheese, picked veggies (the pickled okra is amazing!) and some dipping sauces. You could come just for this, a few drinks and maybe another app and have a wonderful time! However you'd miss the delicious entrees. I got the Brunswick stew which was heavenly. My son loved his cedar plank salmon, said it was one of this favorite salmon preps he's ever had. The ambiance on the patio was pleasant with the hanging plants. The restaurant feels like a hidden gem as you have to travel one of the side alleys to find it. But locals seem to have no problem finding their award winning fave. If you're visiting town, this restaurant is definitely a winner. Plus there are some great shops to stroll nearby before or after.

For dinner I had the southwest blackened chicken Cobb salad which was very good as well. Prices were a little up there, but not too crazy. Service was a little slow (they were pretty busy at the time we went) but the server was well educated on the menu. The restaurant was nicely appointed, comfortable and they have a separate room for their bar.
