What an unjust service. If you'd like to pay 400$ to remove 3 gophers this is the place for you. After 1000$ payment for a 4 month service I canceled. Silly me for thinking that 3 moles or gophers incLuded was the cost for a SIX month period not per week or month! I paid 40$ each after that! I would have never ever signed up if I thought that was the case. They obviously took advantage of a woman that didn't understand the terms. The customer service was rude and unapologetic. "You obviously understood and read the contract since you opened it 13 times" Well did I understand it then? The owner of this company is completely unprofessional. You can get a sense of who he is from his COVID response where he calls it the "Chinese Virus Pandemic", which is just stupid. I didn't see that when I looked up his company. If I had noticed, I would have know what kind of a person I was dealing with. He tells you on the phone that he can get rid of the moles no problem, then when they don't catch anything, they remove the traps, consider that as being "cleared" and send you a bill. I asked what I was paying for when the mole wasn't caught, and he immediately went on the defensive and told me that I've been whining from the beginning and that I'm trying to get our of paying the bill because I'm a deadbeat. He sent me emails, text messages and voicemails ranting like a lunatic. I never once said that I wasn't going to pay the bill mind you! I am happy to pay for a service, but not for no results and the additional headache of having to deal with a mouth breather who is trying to be a "big man". He then threatens to take me to small claims court even though the bill isn't due for 30 days! I guess he's just letting me know how super cool he is? Ridiculous behavior. Don't use these guys, they're super unprofessional. The owner even published a former customers personal cell phone and address when she complained about his services on google. When I gave him feedback about why I was cancelling my service with him, I was met with some really mean emails from the owner. They aren't nice people to work with, and they charge an arm and a leg. There is also very little transparency with them on how many gophers they're finding. They show up when they want, and don't communicate about how many gophers they've caught or how many traps they've lost. The owners excuse for this is that they're too busy and that it's the honor system. Except he makes you sign a contract, so it's not the honor system. Go with someone else, these guys are NOT a good company to work with. read more

We had mounds in our new lawn, and I was looking at removal companies. I happened to see one of their trucks and flagged them down. He came right out, set up and solved the problem in less than a week. They have since followed up making sure no new problems, and said if we have an issue they will be tight back out. We used Gopher Patrol in 2012-2013 to get rid of 1 mole in our very small yard. The cost was $150 for the year + a small fee for disposal of the critter. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. This year, 2014, the mole was back. Called to have them come out to get the new critter. The owner sent out a employee who was not friendly or knowledgeable. To my surprise the fee had went to $150 for 6 months. That's $300 a year for a very small yard, and only being serviced once a week. Did'nt ask what the disposal rate was, just said thanks but no thanks. Went to Wilco, bought 2 traps, $20, got em' in a week, neighbors cat ate him,. Yum! read more

The truth is that Gopher Patrol achieved excellent results, had excellent communications, and above all INTEGRITY. Can't say the same about Gopher Busters. We fired them after a month because they only made quick visits, didn't check the whole yard, didn't knock on the door to communicate when visiting, and didn't get good results. Alex does a wonderful job of getting the gopher problem under control! He is dependable and effective and worth every penny! I highly recommend Alex and Gopher Patrol! In addition, he places the traps under ground so your large animals won't get hurt by them while capturing gophers. The first season we used Alex - got all of the gophers and the pastures became safe for the animals to walk around on. I don't trust Gopher Patrol. Alex runs his business a bit on the shady side. I was charged over $1,200 for Gophers he never caught and when I was billed, he didn't deduct my payment I'd sent in 8 months earlier. Then charged me 25% interest. Also, when I questioned Alex why the post it notes on the door quantity didn't match the billing, he told me sometimes they don't have time to put a post it note on my door. Really? That can't take more than 2 minutes . Homeowners beware of getting ripped off by Gopher Patrol. I would recommend Gopher Busters, more reasonably priced and treats their customers with respect. I was charged way less and it came with a guarantee. Alex at Gopher Patrol wiil not guarantee anything other than take your money...and you will still have gophers. read more

If you have a gopher or mole problem don't hesitate to call these guys. I had a very difficult case. The malls I had were juvenile and smart. It took over a month to get them. These guys showed up twice a week to check their traps and add more if needed. I believe I had more than nine traps at one time in my yard. Other mole guys didn't want to deal with me, I wasn't going to be an easy catch and go. This didn't scare them off they were diligent, friendly, and helpful. Thought we had rodents in our attic. Turns out they were just on our roof. But I called Gopher Patrol, they came out next day, searched every square foot of my home to find an entrance and couldn't, searched the attic and didn't find anything, not even any poop or tracks. Alex actually answered the phone when I called. It is his busiest time and he worked over time to come to my home within one day. He is very thorough, honest and professional and goes above and beyond. He had to go into my crawl space and repair an open area. Not an easy task. I would have paid him whatever he charged . He is a great communicator and explained everything. He also noticed the mice had eaten part of the garage stopper and he took time to shop at 3 different places to get it replaced. He then took another day and came back and repaired the garage door. Way more than another company would ever do. I will hire him in the future and highly highly recommend him. Experience was Ok until I received final statement claiming eradication of 10 animals. From my own 30+ years of farming/trapping my observations of the number of animals caught was far less. 98% of the time the traps were back filled by the critters and the trapps had not been tripped and were thus empty. Gopher Patrol did catch some animals. I did confirm 2, however I remain skeptical as to the 10 being claimed. In an attempt to discuss my issue and disbelief with Alex, (who had not done the trapping himself) he could only offer testimony towards his own, his companies and his employees credibility and character. No proof was or is available verifying his employees claim. At this time my communication with Gopher Patrol and Alex has ended as Alex hung up on me while I was trying to reach a compromise to our situation. Alex stated that he was offended that I would question his or any of his employees character or integrity. Any efforts or suggestions I attempted to offer were dismissed and I was threatened with being taken to court for collections, to which I verbally accepted as a supportive means of creating policy changes to insure verifiable services for.other customers. In summary, if you are not going to be present watching the entire process, there needs to be some form of verification.. As most of us know, smart phones take pictures and time/date stamp. In my mind, a picture showing the hole and/or location as well as a,trap containing a rodent would be quick, easy and verifiable. I am not convinced of the claim made of 10 animals caught and I am further disappointed with Alex's (owner) lack of professionalism and maturity in handling the matter. read more
