We hired them during Covid for rats that had gotten into our crawl space. They did an initial inspection but then couldn't come back for another so when we had dead rats, we had to leave them. We had great service for the first year or two, but then it was a gradual irritation on their end every time we called about a box that wasnt filled with bait or seeing rats. I am loyal but the last time we called, they were so abrupt and unpleasant after 5+ years that we cancelled our service and went with a new one. I wish they would have listened to our concerns and came up with solutions. We would have paid for additional service if there was a solution. instead, we paid to have our space cleaned and sealed and traps filled (mostly) and still had rats out in the open. I would have sent this feedback directly to Banish, as I don't want to hurt a local business, but they were so unpleasant on the phone and in person picking up the boxes that Im posting here. read more

I highly recommend Banish Pest Control. We've been customers for probably about 10 years now. After using products to try to keep ant out of my house for years I finally gave up. I was lucky enough to find Banish Pest Control. Michael the owner of the company is a really awesome young man. He started this business all by himself and did all the work. Now we go year-round without having any ants trailing in our house anywhere. It's been absolutely wonderful. My only regret is not finding him sooner. The product that they use is safe for pets and people. But it does not discriminate it kills all bugs. If you're tired of fighting bugs on your property. Call Banish Pest Control. One of the best decisions I finally made! Thank you Michael. Shout out to Jesse! We most certainly appreciate you so much. read more

I was referred to Banish by my NextDoor App as one that won't pressure you into a monthly treatment plan & will get the job done at a reasonable cost. Nextdoor forgot to add friendly, attentive & transparent charging fees. I am very happy w the timeliness of the service as well as the service itself. They have a 90 day warranty & if the problem isn't resolved, they'll come back & retreat for free! I'm happy to support smaller local businesses to address my household needs especially happy working w Banish. read more

We were very impressed with this company! Quick communication, thorough inspection, lots of information with ZERO pressure! Definitely recommend! Thanks, Jake!! read more

Absolutely a 5-star business! We had a rat problem in our chicken/duck coop and tried to take care of it ourselves with every rat control contraption Home Depot sold. It only got worse. Banish came in and we haven't seen a rat since. And everybody at this company is super smart and kind! read more

This was my first time ever needing this type of service. I would always set out my own store bought bait for ants but this year it was really bad. Different varieties coming through the kitchen, dining, and eventually the children's bedroom. That's when I had to get a professional. Micheal is very responsive to emails and had a quote and prep instructions to me quickly. He was respectful to our home, removing boots before entering. The treatment is safe for people and pets and I was able to move things back into place later in the day. All of the stress of dealing with ants was melting away. After a few days, I started seeing dead ants. A week later, I haven't seen any ants at all! It was very worth it and I recommend Banish Pest Control to anyone having a pest problem. There is a 90 day guarantee and I would not hesitate to do this again if needed. read more

I spoke to Michael on the phone and he gave me pricing and options that were direct, clear, and simple which I really appreciated. No confusing options, required ongoing service or anything like that, just "here's the price and if you want more services it'll be X more dollars." When Chad came out to see what was going on he was helpful, nice, and echoed the same simple options that Michael had given me on the phone. In the end he gave me pointers on how I could take care of the small rat problem I had by myself which I thought was really cool of him. All in all the guys at Banish were super professional and I never felt any pressure to go with them, though I'd call them back in a heartbeat if I end up needing pest control in the future. read more

Fantastic all around. I first requested a quote which I got within 24 hours. I called to schedule an appointment and received friendly service and an appointment two days later. The appointment was quick and he explained everything along the way, pausing a few times to ask if I had questions. They were back again today for my second service and - same thing. Super friendly, efficient, and answered all my questions. I knew he had a busy day because he was the only one working as the other gentleman was out of town, but he gave me full attention and didn't at all make me feel rushed. Highly recommend! read more

I contacted Banish for a quote regarding some ant problems in my home. Micheal emailed me a quote along with the products he uses to treat ants, and instructions on how to prep your home prior to his visit. Micheal then phoned me within the hour to see if I had any questions. Scheduling was easy and Micheal was able to come out within a few days. I was reluctant about spraying inside the home due to the overspray. Let's face it, who wants insecticide overspray all over their home? Micheal assured me that wouldn't happen as he uses a straw like tool which prevents overspray. That tool he uses to spray the inside of the home alone is a selling point for me to hire him! The day of the treatment Micheal arrived within the hour we agreed upon. He was friendly, armed with information, and very respectable of my home as he removed his shoes prior to coming inside the home. He did warn me that odorous house ants can be tricky to get rid off and it may or may not require multiple treatments, depending if we get the queen ant the first round. His treatment carries a 90-day warranty with two additional treatments (30 days apart) if needed, which is a relief to know. It has been a week since the treatment and I've been seeing dead ants, even dead gnats dropping left and right. I'm hopeful the ants will stay away. read more

Banish Pest Control - This is the straw like tool Micheal uses to treat the interior of the home. No overspray! Big selling point for me to hire Banish! - Pest Control Near Me

Relatively happy at first with service, we have been using their quarterly bait upkeep service for ongoing rat prevention in our crawl space. However, when we discovered clear evidence of rodent activity in the crawlspace, we didn't feel they took it seriously. They threw a few pieces of bait in our crawlspace and said they were not chewed on, basically dismissing us. They didn't even go into the space. When we reached out to another company, they indicated some issues with the preventative handling approach that has been taken thus far, and took a much more active approach to the current issue that we are happier with. Overall, just not very happy with paying for preventative service all this time only for a lackadaisical approach once we experience another infestation....that we thought we were preventing in the first place. read more

i have used Banish at two different houses for everything from ants, to critters to bee ideas. They rock and are priced less then competitors. not to mention friendly and enjoyable/feel safe with them around the property. Brian read more

Taking a minute to publicly thank Banish. Working with Michael was our first experience with an exterminator and it was great! Our home was sprayed for ants and we have not seen one since. He's also been helpful when we needed advice. Recently, he encouraged and shared information on how to manage bees. He, of course, said he could remove them but offered to explain how we could save money by doing it on our own. He's honest, professional and highly recommended. read more

We had an excellent experience with Banish Pest Control. Michael called me back immediately and was able to set up a termite inspection super quickly. Chad did an amazing inspection for us; he is super thorough, knowledgable, and as friendly and professional as they come. It so refreshing when you find and are able to work with honest, reliable, and friendly people. Restores your faith in humanity a bit. We will be calling Michael and Chad for any pest control needs we have in the future, and you should do the same! They are excellent!! read more

I am so grateful to have found Michael and Banish Pest Control! Michael got rid of our pesky ants when nothing or nobody else could. Michael also treats our place quarterly for maintenance, and we are always bug-free! I really like how kind, honest, professional, reliable and knowledgeable Michael is. There are no hidden fees, no contracts. The products Banish uses are safe and non-toxic, which makes me feel so much more comfortable. We are transferring our service with Banish over to our new house and I highly recommend Banish to everyone! read more

There's a reason BPC gets perfect reviews - Michael provides EXCELLENT service! He is a great guy and very informed on all potential pests that may be trying to inhabit your home. We've never had any issues in the 8 years we've been in our current home but just had our first mice issue which Michael knocked out quickly. The price for the service he is providing is an awesome value - he came out for the initial visit and made sure our issue was resolved in the subsequent (included) follow-up visits. He was also very flexible in working around our schedule (we were out of town) to make sure we were handled while we were out of town. If you are looking for this type of service, stop wasting your time and give Michael a call - he will definitely take care of you. Thanks again Michael - 2 thumbs up! read more

Got rats? Call Banish. They will get 'er done pronto! Professional, timely, polite, friendly, and highly effective.

Professional, on time and available to help me with my carpenter ant problem. Had to come out twice and did so with no problems and no fuss. Very much recommend! read more

Chad came out today and did an inspection on my house. After inspecting the area of concern, it was his assessment that there weren't any problems after all and no service would be needed in the end. I really appreciate the integrity behind Banish Pest Control - it's a rare quality and will certainly go back to them for any future needs. read more

Little black ants surviving all I could throw at them. Although Banish completed treating our home about a half ago, Michael's excellent service began with my first contact. He found additional areas where the ants were active and treated them (included). NO UPSELLING, no push for monthly service, just polite no nonsense excellent service. A couple weeks ago I used the Yelp request a quote link to check with a few highly rated pest control companies. Michael responded within an hour or so, another took four days and a third has yet to respond. Excellent communication, fast and easy to schedule, shoes off at the front door and a detailed explanation of his work. Totally respected our home and our cat. He used only pet friendly products and included a list of same by quantity on the receipt. Feb 8, 2018 TC / West Linn, OR read more

Michael showed up on time, for the work done. Was polite, efficient and professional. I would absolutely call him next time without questions. His work was high quality and I'm very happy with the results. read more

Michael is very professional, arrives on time, very knowledgeable and courteous. I was very impressed with his services and would highly recommend him to anyone who has pest issues. We had issue with mice and Michael had no issue to go into crawl space, figure out how they were getting in the house, closed off the entry points and stopped multiple times to check on traps. He was successful and no we have no mice issue anymore. Michael is genuinely kind and great person. I wish him all the best in his business. read more

Michael came all the way down to Silverton, OR, where he has a lot of customers, apparently. I can understand why, because he was extremely polite, very informative, and we have not had any more ants in over a year. And when I had him come back for an annual treatment, he said it wasn't really necessary since I hadn't seen any new ants. He could have just as easily charged me another $200 for treating the house, but said it wasn't necessarily. He also let us know how to get rid of some other bugs ourselves free of charge. I highly recommend this excellent exterminator for his great work, generosity with his time, and terrific customer service. read more

Micheal came out today to take care of our post construction spider problem. We will definitely use him in the future and I would hands down recommend him!! I initially called him in a panic about swarming termites. I told him what I was seeing, and he assured me this wasn't a problem and that they'd move on soon. They did. He could have sold us a termite package, but instead be wanted to put our minds at ease. His honesty was refreshing. Instead of termites we had him come out to deal with an influx of spiders. He was prompt, kind, professional and clearly knowledgeable. He made sure that all of my questions were answered and he was never rushed. I will have him back when needed in the future. Not to mention that I butt dialed him off and in for a week+, MULTIPLE calls. He was just cool & really good humored. He is such a great find and I cannot recommend highly enough!! I wish there were more than 5 stars, he would get them! read more

100% recommend! I called over a weekend when we found termites doing some remodeling and Michael got back to me Monday morning. He came out promptly on Tuesday and quickly assessed our situation. He reassured us we did well taking care of most of the problem, but because the termites are subterranean there was a bit more treatment to be done. He explained how he would treat the issue and how much it would cost, but was also noticed our DIY experience and recommended a product if we would rather treat it ourselves. I was very impressed with his honesty. His inspection, recommendation and expertise were just what we needed. read more

Several of my neighbors and I were dealing with rat issues. Unfortunately, they were in the yard and crawl space of my home. I was able to get an appointment with Michael without delay. He is professional and straight forward. His communication is great, and he was on time for every visit. I felt completely comfortable with him in my home. I knew what my options were without a big sales pitch. My neighbors each used different companies and based on their feedback, I'm really happy I went with Banish. Very good price, great service and follow up. I will definitely use them again for any pest services. read more

Let's be honest. Having ants is not fun. But it's a little easier to deal with when you call the right people to help. I was incredibly happy with the service I got from Banish Pest Control. I first called in and spoke with Michael, who was very courteous and informative. Chad, who came out to deal with the problem was equally nice, helpful and professional. They aren't trying to rope you into a long contract and they are very upfront with the pros and cons to a 1x fix vs. a longer, ongoing service. While I hope the ants don't come back, I'd be happy to call Banish Pest Control again should the ants return. read more

We worked with Chad at Banish Pest Control for rats in our fireplace. Chad was responsive, informative and a pleasure to work with. He explained the treatment he planned to use, came to the house 4 times (more than the standard 3) and took care of our rodent issue for us. All this was done for a really fair price. I will definitely use Banish again if needed. read more

Call Michael for any pest problems! I'm very pleased with the results we've gotten in just the first stage of Banish's pet-safe rodent treatment. We live in a critter-rich environment, a neighborhood full of bird feeders and chicken yards, food everywhere. But Banish's system targets pests, not pets, and we've seen a definite improvement. Our motion lights no longer flash on every five minutes because of uninvited guests at night trying to get past the bird feeder baffles. Thanks, Banish Pest Control! read more

We were super frustrated by having to constantly keep the kitchen and house immaculate even while cooking. No matter how perfectly clean we were and how many ant traps we set out and how much borax and syrup we made, we couldn't stop the constant trickle of year round sugar ants. We felt harassed and stressed. Those things stink in so many ways. Micheal sent great instructions about how to prepare for his visit. Not a huge deal. He was on time, and super nice. He explained what he was doing and why, and he was thorough. He told us when he arrived, and again when he was finished- that he guaranteed we would be FREE of ants for a few months at least and probably longer, and if they returned within the next three months to call him and he would come out and redo the service- for free. I assumed that he was hoping it would last, but that we would probably be seeing him again soon because those ants were that relentless. Nope. He was here once and done. Nearly five months later we still marvel about how happy we are with what he accomplished. We haven't had a single ant. read more

Michael was great. I called about a hornet nest in our backyard near where our young children play. He was at our house within the hour and had the hive terminated and taken down within 30 minutes. Not only was he quick and efficient but he was personable, friendly, and just one of the best experiences I've had with a service company in many years. He was also priced very fairly. Would highly recommend to anyone! read more

We had Michael come in and help us out with an ant problem we were having. He did a really great job, and was very clear on instructions and follow up. He took care of the outside and several areas inside the house. It's now day 2 and we havent seen any more ants. Really liked his professional approach, he was on time, and very reasonably priced. I also like that we were supporting a local small business, and not a large group that is only interested in selling you a 2 year subscription. Michael never did the multi year hard sell. He took care of our needs. I worked strongly recommended Banish! read more

I've reviewed Banish Pest Control 9 months ago. Want to report back that we've had them come do quarterly ant service and we've added rodent service due to signs in the garage. Rodent service was at my asking, not theirs. No sugar ants have returned to the kitchen or elsewhere in the home. What a miracle. I always get a timely text the day prior, Chad always arrives on time and explains things thoroughly and answers questions any time I ask. Chad shows me the rodent traps if I ask, so I can see that mice are eating the poison. I'm very happy with the service. read more

Michael and Banish Pest Control are fantastic. They're reliable, honest, and provide "A-plus" customer service. Michael immediately found the source of ants outside and took care of them. I rescheduled twice (out of my control) but Micheal didn't give me any push back. He showed up on time, was personable ane appreciative of our preparation, thanked us for supporting his small local business, answered our questions and sprayed inside and out for sugar ants. Afterward he wrote a receipt with a list of the chemicals he had used and gave us instructions about how to maintain the barrier he had just applied. He reiterated that he guaranteed three months of freedom from those stinky little invaders but that it would take a few days before we would stop seeing them, and he nailed that timeframe perfectly. It's a breath of freedom to be totally free of ants and having him in our home was a pleasure. He's a genuinely nice guy with a great work ethic and we're happy to give him a perfect score as he provided us with a perfect service call. read more

We recently discovered we had mice in our pantry and after trying to get rid of them on our own, we decided professional help was necessary. I contacted three different pest companies. Two of them were very pushy/aggressive about signing a year contract for ongoing services. Banish Pest Control was the third. They were friendly, professional, and gave us all their options. No pushiness to sign a contract. Chad came out and was so nice and explained everything they were doing. Within the week there were no more signs of mice. And best of all, their service was the least expensive. I recommend using Banish Pest Control very highly. read more
