Our…read morehouse was so full of ants that we would find them on rugs, on ceilings, even in our bed at night. They were everywhere. We had Campbell out a couple of time, but it got worse instead of better. Then they sent Darryl, and he earned our eternal gratitude. He found ant trails we didn't even point out, or know we had, and figured out where they were going to and coming from. He went into rooms that we hadn't reported a problem in (with permission, of course...) and showed us where additional ant activity was. Then he baited incredibly carefully, to ensure our cats would not be at risk of exposure to the bait. (Our cats loved Darryl too!) He even followed up with a text a few days later, saying he was thinking about our job, and he wanted to know if the situation had improved! Who does that?! It had improved, by 85 - 90%, but we still saw ants. So he returned and spent an equal amount of time and patience identifying their sources. Darryl has made a tremendous difference in our ability to enjoy our home He is a treasure, and a super nice person, Thanks Darryl, and thanks to Campbell for sending him!!

The first technician, Peyton, was incredibly kind and reassuring -- he told me he'd seen way worse and instantly put me at ease. He was polite, professional, and efficient, and I only needed to be out of the house (along with my cat) for about an hour while he sprayed. You're guaranteed three sprays for one initial price, which I found to be very reasonable. When the second spray date came around, I was running behind -- my cat wasn't in her carrier, my stuff wasn't ready, and I was flustered. Peyton patiently waited for me to get everything together and even helped carry a few things to my car! That kind of kindness is rare and so appreciated. By the third spray, I had a new technician named Isaac, who was just as friendly and patient as Peyton (again, I wasn't quite ready -- when they say 11 to noon, expect 11 promptly! ). Both technicians were fantastic: professional, punctual, and genuinely kind people who made a stressful situation so much easier. I can't recommend Campbell Pest Control enough -- their customer service alone deserves five stars. Every time I called, a real person answered the phone - no robots whatsoever. I even spoke with the owner, Austin, who was extremely kind and is the reason I'm writing this review.

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW!!…read more I'm not sure how Harley got yelp to give him a good customer recommendation but I've only noticed it along with more pictures to look busy and authentic in the last 11 days. Since I stopped using him, he's posted multiple pictures and gotten in good with yelp. However, when he came to me, he said he didn't like yelp and it was bought and paid for and the reviews were fake?? He knew that I was a yelp poster. I strongly believe that Harley's yelp reviews and Google reviews are fake. If you read them, they all sound alike. They always use the word "knowledgeable". Maybe he'll change that now. Here is my experience. I was looking for a little bit cheaper Pest Control and also came upon a problem in my attic with mice and rats. However, it's not substantiated because I have not heard any noise and most of the droppings are old. Harley, who is the only person who owns the company just one person working out of an old SUV, no paperwork, no contracts and really no credentials was concerning when I met him, but he did have insurance so I took a chance. I paid him $109 for three months service which he never completed. He came out complaining constantly about my house, it was too big, too high, too close to the ocean, too next to a mountain etc. A lot of sour grapes when you live in a beautiful home and somebody wishes it was theirs. I live in a beautiful home overlooking the entire Pacific Ocean in a forest in a very coveted neighborhood. I'm not sure who he typically works for? He had all types of problems getting the right ladder to fix a couple of exclusion spots. He showed up four times with the wrong ladder, not knowing what to do and wasting time and money. I explained to him that's not the way to run a business. You need to know what you're doing. You need to be efficient or you're not only wasting your time and money but the customers time and money. It's funny how people who know nothing about a business. Think they can run a business. I own a business 30 years I know what's involved. He went into the attic and placed a total of four little plastic mouse traps the kind you buy in a hardware store, not professional like a company would use. Companies use a tunnel style that is much more sturdy. The ones he put up we're not even set when the next man came to check. They were just sitting there unset. There is nothing professional about him. He doesn't know what he's doing. He is not knowledgeable as all of his Yelp reviews say. The last time he came to my house, he attempted to get up on a ladder that he rented and was waving around like a flag up there because it was windy weather. He said he didn't understand the weather at the coast and never bothered to check the weather. Well, it's a good idea to check weather before getting on a ladder, especially at the coast. He took $109 and did not do his job. I have proof in my checkbook. Please do not use him. You will regret it. He does not know what he's doing and he's working out of his SUV. It's not even a real company. Yes he has the name of the company and some fake reviews and paid yelp to get assistance on the site. He ended up accomplishing absolutely nothing at my house, except wasting more time and leaving me with the problem to have to handle with the next person as as well as keeping the money and doing nothing. Luckily, I came across my old Handyman, who is going to get up on a big ladder and take care of these exclusion holes for me and he has no trouble with rain and has a proper ladder that stays in place. I will just go back to my original Pest Control company, which will begin doing checks on the attic twice a year as well as what they were doing and they've also offered me a very discounted price so I'm very happy to get back with a real company. Don't make the same mistake I made trying to save a few bucks go with a properly vetted company that has policies, contracts, paperwork and responsible workers and accountability! The last time he was supposed to show up a week ago I text him several times just to complete what we had started and he blew me off completely so not only did he take my money, but he blew me off after receiving all my calls. I saw that he was reading them and he refused to respond even to say hey I'm just not gonna come. That's totally unprofessional and passive aggressive. A responsible person would've said hey I'm not comfortable with this job or I've chosen not to come back. Aside from the money. Famous last words: "I just like to help people" and "You're my best customer!" If anyone ever uses these words, you know, they are a con artist. Please do yourself a favor and find one of the several companies we can use for Pest Control. They are out there and if you need help, write me and I'll tell you who I'm using. Well....today while kicked back resting after working hard in the yard, another sales guy who identifies himself as the manager, shows up. Now Im beyond pissed off. He calls me by the wrong name and starts in on his sales pitch. BTW, beware....they always start out by sharing a my neighbor uses their service and suggest he contacts you. I stopped him and c asked if he read the sign. He said he had but he wanted to talk with me as my neighbor thought I would want their service. This is such crap. They lie, lie lie! Never happened. After I cautioned him to stay off my property and to abide by no soliciting sign, he responded by accusing me of being stressed out. Yep I am I told him because you can't abide by the sign. I told him to leave and don't come back. He was incredibly cocky. In fact all the sales guys have been rude and cocky. This company has demonstrated itself to be disrespectful. I guessed as to the kind of bug our visitors are, but didn't know for sure. Two companies blindly assumed I was correct, one quoting many hundreds of dollars for the first treatment with a "necessary" round of additional treatments. Morgan trusted my identification, but presented a second possible candidate that was more likely given the time of year. And he noted that he'd be happy to come treat for the first type of bug, but with the latter they wouldn't need to treat at all. He said they'd go away on their own with a consistent temperature drop and wouldn't cause us any harm. He literally replied with honesty that would likely result in his not getting any business from us at all. That's the kind of integrity we don't see a lot of these days. Now Morgan's Pest Management is bookmarked for our go-to company. So, even though we've never used their services, they get five stars for integrity.
