This was definitely an unexpected find while on my hunt for a bubble tea place after dinner lol. I didn't even know there was a Google store location in Brooklyn, since I only knew there was one in Chelsea. Then the staff informed me that there's only 3 in the entire country; two in New York and one in California. The store has a spacious open floor plan, that's easy on the eyes and there's no gleaming lights. There are long couches hiding in the back of the store. It did seem kind of slow though, since the staff were mostly standing around; So, I got help right away :) Originally, I wanted to visit the Manthan store location so I can take a look at the Google Max Hub. I currently own the Google Hub and have been thinking about upgrading for a while now. However, I wanted to get a physical sense of their differences in comparison, and how it would sit next to my bed. Besides, I also wanted to check the sound system, since there is a decent subwoofer in it for something that size. Two surprises from this trip: Google doesn't offer employee discounts, which is awful. And I found a better deal than the staff during Black Friday lol.

I recently popped in to get a new phone. I had a $250 coupon for Google one customers that they sent out to defray the cost of getting a pixel 8. I was able to walk in see the different models and Brian was amazing and helped me pick a color for the models they had in 256 GB. Many of the colors were not available right away but I was able to get my phone on the same day with little to no wait and they were able to apply my discount. Discounts do not stack unfortunately. I always prefer buying my phones directly from Google.

The owner and the gentleman up front were very knowledgeable and assured me while walking through my every concern. They charged a reasonable price to have my set fixed, and its been working great! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who is concerned with keeping their retro technology alive today in good health and working as it should!

So I took back cover off and noticed the play belt slipped off the cam. This Tascam Porta 2 was serviced few years back by licensed Tascam company. Inside was clean as a whistle. So now I had no time to repair belt. Looked for repair shop and this store came up. Took unit to store and filled out on work order: Play belt slipped off cam. (See pic) Simple repair you think? Well let me tell you this place will pad the bill as high as possible. With frivolous work charges. When I went to pick up unit. I got a bill for $185 for 1 play belt. Ohh they charged me for Replaced Belts, Rebuilt Motor which was a lie etc. There was nothing wrong with anything except the play belt. On top of that they never called me to say this work needs to be done. Or provide any photos to show what they did. That's what I mean by padding the bill. So I show up to pick up unit and bring my own Tascam OEM power supply, that was original to unit. Plug it in and all is ok. Just wanted to pay and leave. There is one thing I learned in life. Never argue with a fool. Because that makes two fools. So low and behold I take unit to my job and less than an hour later the Tascam unit fails. All this work that was supposed done and it breaks done before I even get it home. Yea right! So now I take it back. And it takes another day. Funny thing is the guy working the counter is like. Hey bring that Tascam oem power supply back and he will trade it for a $3 Chinese power supply. I was born at nite. But it wasn't last nite. What a moron bad enough he is ripping me off for unapproved work. Now he wants me to trade a $30 Tascam oem power supply for a $3 one. What an idiot. Check it out if you enter this store. Enter at your own risk. And be specific about any repairs with the caveat if work goes beyond scope of original quote. That you need to approve it. And ask for proof like photos etc. And as of July 4 th after only using tape deck for two hours. Tape deck failed with same error as when taken into this shop for repair. Useless idiots who have no clue what they are doing.

It's such a time in this day and age when I want to build my own PC but have NO CLUE what I'm…read moredoing. Yes, YouTube tutorials are one thing but since I'm a hands on learner; sometimes I just can't get it. This 5 star is going to the wonderful Reinaldo! Who saw me looking clueless next to the available graphics cards. Micro center has such a wide variety of everything that it can get overwhelming but he helped me every step of the way and even took a look at the list I made. Constructive criticism may hurt my feelings but his advice wasn't to sway what I wanted but give me more perspective of how it will run in comparison to how it will look. With streaming and my art set up, he knew I'd need a better parts. At this point, I didn't mind paying a bit extra because he EXPLAINED why I would need them instead of just upselling me for the heck of it. 10/10 service and care. Also big 10/10 for micro center getting employees that are knowledgeable and love what they do. Along with having EVERYTHING. (If they don't, the employees can help you find it at a different micro or help you order it to home) Thank you!

Well, I just ended one of the absolute worst shopping experiences of my life. I left this review on…read moretheir other site too. I specifically came here after ordering a Web order of one of the two things they had - and then the following sequence of events happened. 1. My web order was not on the shelf, even though I had a confirmation email, they saw the confirmation email in their system, and then weren't able to find it after 10 minutes of searching. They then told me to go to the floor (no help, no direction on where to go) to go find what they lost 2. I am told to go to a sales representative on the floor. I tell him what I need, knowing that there is still one left in their inventory since I didn't buy them out with my Web order. He searches the generic name of the brother labels i'm looking for (literally "brother's label cartridge"), the results are very long, he doesn't go past the first page, and he tells me that they don't carry that here at all 3. I then show him the page on the website with the right name. He finally looks it up. he tells me it's an aisle seven and tells me to go there. 4. I go to aisle seven I search for another 10 minutes, no help from any staff at this point, and no cartridge to be found - neither the one I ordered online nor the one they had left in inventory. Look, I know mistakes happen, but there was a point of friction on every single step in this process. There was no accountability, no support when things went wrong, and no accommodation once the experience is wrapped up. I've had two negative and two neutral experiences. I've tried. I'm sorry. Never coming back, and I'll let my friends know my experiences when it comes to electronics

NEVER AGAIN! I ordered two in-wall AC units by phone from their online store--one in April 2026 and…read moreone in July to replace my 1400 BTU Friedrich Wallmasters in my living area and bedroom. I was initially told that I had to buy the new Wallmaster 1400 BTU units at way over a thousand dollars because only they would fit the in-wall sleeves in my apt. NOT TRUE! I had to speak to six different salespeople over a weeks' time, to find out there was another option; Friedrich makes a less expensive unit that will fit most any wall sleeve--it's called a Uni-fit. Now I was told THAT was my new only option. It was a thousand dollars plus installation and Haul-Away of my old unit which upped the price by $200.00. Then there was the sales tax. All told the unit cost me around $1400 installed. That made buying one for the bedroom unaffordable. But I took the plunge, convinced by that salesperson that this was my only option. The delivery was quick; the installation was professionally executed. But this unit is not as powerful as my other Friedrichs were. It does NOT cool as well as the Wallmasters did. After troubleshooting the problem, I found that the instruction manual said that this unit would not be as powerfully cooling as my last Friedrich. That would have good to know BEFORE buying the unit! I called P.C. Ricards again in July to see if I could get a 1200 BTU for the bedroom. To my surprise, the new rep told me that Frigidaire in-wall AC's also fit existing sleeves contradicting the six salespeople who told me only the Friedrich would fit. I bought the Frigidaire 1200 BTU (only $449. on sale) for my bedroom. it chilled the air like a dream and is much more powerful than the Friedrich Uni-Fit Now I wished that I had bought a 14000 BTU Frigidaire for the living room instead of the Friedrich Uni-Fit. But thanks to the salespeople, I am now stuck with this underperforming overpriced dud of a product. They basically oversold me. Now, here's the kicker: the Frigidaire unit did not arrive on the day I was promised-yes-promised. In fact, I had to wait another week during the hottest time of the summer! When I spoke to a PC Richards supervisor and told her that I was promised by two different reps that the unit would arrive on the agreed upon date, this what she said to me: "I can't promise you there won't be a delay. The only thing I can promise you is death." Having battled cancer three times in the past two years, this comment hurt me deeply. Why is this person in customer service let alone a supervisor? This was a nightmare! If the salespeople told me the Frigidaire AC would have fit the wall sleeve in my living room, I would have bought a 1400 BTU Frigidaire which would have been cheaper and much more efficient. NEVER WILL I EVER buy from P.C. Richards after this experience!
