I had four Goodyear WeatherReady tires installed here on my daughter's car in November 2022. I have used them in the past for new tires and have been satisfied for the most part. I recently noticed that the dates of manufacture for the tires were the 25th, 26th, 41st weeks of 2019, and the 1st week of 2020. So, the tires were anywhere from 3.5 to about 3 years old when installed!! Even Goodyear's own website recommends replacement after six years (no matter the mileage -- https://www.goodyear.com/en_US/learn/tire-basics/how-long-do-tires-last.html). So, Goodyear installed tires that were more than 50% past their useful life. To me, that is unacceptable; but apparently not illegal. I've lost confidence in Goodyear. Edit: After receiving the response below, I contacted Goodyear at the number given and was told by the representative that the dealers are able to install tires as old as five years. So, it was a no-go on the warranty claim. She told me that the recommended six years for replacement begins when the tires are installed (as opposed to manufactured), but everything I read says that the rubber weakens over time even if the tires are being stored. So, I think the lesson learned is to ask the age of the tires before installation. I like the WeatherReady tires and have installed them in my other three vehicles, but will probably look elsewhere in the future. read more

Scheduled my appointment online to get 4 new tires. I dropped my car off the afternoon before so they would have my truck for the early start time the following morning. About 5:15, I get a call saying they had finished my truck. I had even added an oil change and asked them to look at a rattling noise. They completed the oil change and fixed the rattle, all a day early! Great people and a great work ethic. As I was leaving, the young man who worked on my truck explained the cause of the rattle and how he fixed it. I will be coming back to this Goodyear for all my automotive needs! read more

Classic bait and switch. Picked tires online and made appointment for next morning. Go in to drop off vehicle and they "don't have the tires in stock" (could order them and install them next day as I already took off of work today for my appointment lol). I asked why did it let me make an appointment for those tires or why didn't it say not in stock at location selected???? I was only told "I don't know". So I asked how much more expensive would it be to get tires in stock and was quoted right there between $400 to $500 more than online quote was. This is 2023....not 1990. There is software out there that will remedy this easily.......I guess they aren't used to hearing forget it then and someone walking out saying their customer service sux. They tried to call me a half hour later but my decision was done. Do better Goodyear!! read more

They fixed my flat tire free of charge and I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes, even though I came at a busy time. Set up an appt for a standard tire rotation. Service provider failed to hold the appointment, seemed annoyed we had booked it online. Initially told us they could get us in 90 minutes. We called back at 3 hr mark, hadn't started yet. Several phone calls later and 5 hrs in, we finally got the car back from a routine 20min job. Hopefully it was one bad day but I will think twice before booking service with these guys again. read more

Fool that I am, the air in my tire continued to leak and I took it to Goodyear a third time. This time, they said the leak was due to a bad valve on the tire. They fixed it again at no cost, and sent me on my merry way. Alas, the air in my tire continued to leak. However, this time when I returned to Goodyear, I asked them for a refund, which they promptly gave me, no questions asked. No reason to argue since they realized their incompetence. However, the one star rating is not due to the fact that they could not fix the leak, but for the horrible customer service, and unapologetic attitude for the inconvenience they had caused. read more

2 of my tires were flat and a snowstorm was due the next day. I called and they were so kind to squeeze me in between appointments. One of my tires needed to be replaced and the other one had a ruined rim that they patched up. They were so kind and knowledgeable. Good year in peoria on Knoxville is the best place for car repairs. The staff is friendly and helpful, the prices are good, and the only time I had a problem with their work they quickly rectified it. Biggest fraud! Stay away from these thieves! After charging 600$ for a throttle body replacement, I continued to get the same error. After seeing the same error on getting the car fixed, when I said that the same error was coming up, Jimmy said that it wasn't due to the throttle body which was a BIG LIE .As I was moving between states and didn't have time to fight with them, I had to show the car at a different service centre in California. The other Goodyear service centre in California told me that I had been cheated as the throttle body error was never fixed. I ended up paying a good amount of money out of pocket (150$) but was saved somewhat by the Goodyear brand warranty as I didn't have to pay the whole 600$ again. The person named Jimmy who works there is the perhaps the worst example of customer service. He can lie with confidence . Jimmy - for reasons unknown to me, feels that a great way to help hide lies is by talking in condescending tone to customers who pay hundreds of dollars to keep such useless service centres running! read more

Clearly this place is in business to rip people off, be treated like a convict like most of the guys working there and overall crappy service. I had a flat tire only to be told by the behemuth manager I needed a new one. I said air it up and I'll go else where. WOW was that a mistake. The manager told me I was making a big mistake. The only mistake was taking it there. I had a bad valve stem fixed by Firestone right down the street. This place is top notch! At good year on Knoxville Well 1st off my friend came in Friday and they checked over the breaks and rotors and said they needed new brake pads and rotors... we came in today at 945 it's now 1:20 and it isn't complete no one is even working on it for the past 20 mins... they came in at 12:10 and said it needed new calipers that was a extra 220 why didn't they tell him in the get go when they checked it Friday any smart person would of been able to tell when they looked at it. now they want 220 on top of the 678!! Bad business practice we been here almost 4 hours. The lady in front of us they keep telling here it's going to be a another 20mins each time.! If you want a responsible quote and a legit business don't come here they will say one thing and then when everything is taking apart they will add more work that needs done regardless if it is true or not!! I needed four new tires. Called this shop and got a price quote for Goodyear Assurance tires. Price was what I expected and competitive with other tire quotes in the Peoria area. The tires were installed within an acceptable time for me. I dropped my vehicle off on Friday night and they called me at 9:42 am on Saturday morning stating the vehicle was ready. I was happy with the customer service and especially impressed with Don the manager. I recommend this shop. Give them a try. If you're not happy with the service let them know. I'm sure they are willing to make their customers happy. read more

Gave them my car for 3 hours to put on 1 tire. They called and said it was done. I paid my money and left. 1.5 hours later they called me and told me that they didn't even put the tire on. So I have to drive back 30 mins. My car needed other work so I asked since they screwed up and wasted 5 hours of my time would they give my 5 hours of labor. they said no.. so I got my money back and went down the street to firestone and they had a tire on in 30 mins. read more
