My cousin asked me if I could drive their Chevy Camaro over here to get the back tires replaced. The tires were a special order and he had been notified that they had just come in. So of course I was more than happy to help out (did I mention it's a Camaro SS, ha!). I arrived at 8:30. The employee who checked me in was friendly and professional. He took my information and the keys to my car. Within 10 minutes they had the car in one of their work bays starting on the tire replacements. The waiting area was clean, consisting of 8 chairs in a "U" arrangement facing an HDTV. The showroom displayed the various tires they carried which included Michelin, Yokohama, Firestone, Uniroyal, and BF Goodrich - a nice selection and great quality tires. 30 minutes later the car was done, paperwork complete, keys returned, and I was back on the road. The bald tires had been replaced and the new BF Goodrich 275/40R20's tires looked and rode great (not to mention the safety factor). Not only was my property stolen while my vehicle was in their care, but the business showed no willingness to accept accountability for the situation. As a customer, I understand that a business cannot prevent every crime. However, I do expect a professional repair facility to take reasonable precautions to protect customers' vehicles and belongings. I also expect management to show some level of concern when something like this happens. These were tools that I worked hard to purchase, and replacing them will come at a significant financial cost. Instead of receiving support or accountability, I was left dealing with the consequences myself. The lack of security is concerning, but the complete lack of accountability is even more disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle here. Before trusting this business with your property, ask yourself whether you're comfortable leaving your vehicle somewhere that has no camera coverage and where management refuses to take responsibility when something happens. This place is the best…read more I am a 24 year old female (which shouldn't matter, but unfortunately it does..) and I felt so so so comfortable and confident in the guys here. I took my car in after Midas told me something was wrong with my transmission. Don looked it over, and told me that he believed something was broken, but he didn't feel confident and didn't want to charge me for the part in case it was fine. He referred me to the dealership. My husband took it into the dealership and they quoted us about $3000 (12 hours of work). In desperation, we took it back to Don at AAMCO. He made time to look it over the next day, and fixed the part (FOR ONLY $500!). He shared that the dealership wanted to fix other things on the car that were not necessary, so he didn't do that. He kept the shop open 30 min later and waited around the office by himself for me to get off work and get over to pick it up.
