After three hours, they told me they were just pulling the truck in and it would be ready in another hour. I came back an hour later--four hours after my scheduled appointment--and the truck still hadn't even been touched. To make things worse, the staff gave me attitude instead of an apology or any real explanation. I rely on my truck to work and earn a living, and they completely wasted my day. Absolutely no respect for my time or business. I strongly suggest not trusting this place. If they can't honor a simple scheduled appointment or communicate honestly, I wouldn't trust them with anything else.

From that time is was 35 minutes to arrival, but shortly after the 20 - 50 minute estimate, the provider called me to give me a more precise time which exactly matched their actual arrival time. The provider was fast, efficient, friendly and the service call was free with the Subaru new car warranty coverage. So my cost was $0 plus the optional tip (which I was able to do seamlessly on Venmo). So, in total, this was an equal or better experience than any other service call I have previously utilized with other vehicles.

My tire had a leak and I initially brought it in to a different local discount tire place, who shall remain nameless. Due to the placement of the nail they wouldn't patch it. They offered to put on a new tire, which I was trying to avoid, so, I went to Firestone to see if they thought it was patchable. Jeff and the crew were a little busy and said it would be about an hour wait. I was hesitant to stick around, but after we talked some more and he asked the right questions, it was determined that it was leaking pretty fast and I should really get it taken care of. The waiting room was clean and comfortable, with a TV, a charging station (with all of charging cords), and free coffee and water. I had some issues with the charging station, but Marcello came over to help get it working for me without pause. While I was waiting I overheard Marcello helping an elderly regular customer and it was heartwarming. She was quite anxious about an issue her car was having but he handled the situation with patience, poise and professionalism. So often the elderly are talked down to, disrespected, or taken advantage of and that definitely wasn't the case here! Jeff, a service manager and the tech for my work, went above and beyond. He quickly noticed an issue with my key fob (it doesnt lock/unlock consistently, and I need to pair my fob to my start button in order to turn it on), and was able to fix it! A daily frustration, completely resolved! He also noticed that my inspection was due and was able to take care of that right then, too. I could have been out over $100 at the discount tire place and only had a new tire to show for it. At Firestone, I got the patch installed, my inspection done, fluids topped, fob fixed for roughly half that. The positive experience was worth the novel. Jeff and Marcello gained a customer. I talked to Jeff True, Service Manager, who very courteously assured me that would not be a problem. When I arrived, Mr. True met me. He was as professional in person as on the phone. He was courteous and listened when I told him what services I had scheduled and would he mind explaining the functions. He explained in detail what would be done and about how long it would take. I was extremely impressed that Mr. True spent the time explaining the services in detail and answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. After my interaction with Mr. True in the future, I will schedule services but only if he is there.
