I would like to take a moment to say that I highly recommend this location. I visited this location believing that I needed my brakes done. They were making noise from the front. A technician came out and told me that my brakes looked like they were new. He asked me if I had gotten them done recently. He suggested that I take the car back to where I had gotten them done because by the way they looked, they should still be under warranty. I called them and turns out the pads and rotors were done in Nov 2024 and they were still under warranty. I was so impressed with the pure honesty of the technicians at this Goodyear. They could have easily taken my money and I would never have known the difference. They literally saved me hundreds of dollars, which I appreciate so much. I thanked them all for their help. This shop is absolutely amazing. The customer service is exceptional and their patience was commendable. I worked primarily with Justin (the office manager I believe) and he answered all of my questions and did an amazing job helping me and my car pass the state inspection. As someone who doesn't know much about cars, I appreciated Justin's ability to explain the issues to me in a way that anyone would be able to understand. The management at this Goodyear Auto Service location has this place running like a well oiled machine. I booked a Saturday 8:30am appointment online for an alignment. I arrive a few minutes early, they get a bit of information from me and right at 8:30 my vehicle was being taken into the service bay. The manager and the other gentleman working at the front desk were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I asked a few questions about pricing, coupons and the process of the work to be completed, and they were able to answer quickly and confidently without a change in their attitude or demeanor. About 45 minutes later, upon completion of my alignment, I received a print out of my vehicle before and after alignment. Of course I didn't understand the illustrations, but the front desk attendant was able to explain it to me in terms that a non-mechanic like myself could understand. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS DESPICABLE PLACE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! This is the second deplorable experience we've had with this tire shop. The first time they would not honor their pricing quote for a set of new tires. They quoted a price, we left for ten minutes to go to the bank and came back to make the tire purchase and the service man claimed he had no knowledge of the price that they quoted!!! It was ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE! Now this experience today... We went because we had a flat tire. One would think that removing a nail from one tire would be nothing at all for a tire shop. First of all the demeanor of the gentleman at the front desk was one of disdain and disgust. Everything single thing about his body language, his facial expression, and his dismissive tone of voice said, "OH NO, NOT ANOTHER SUNDAY CUSTOMER!!!" And no, it was NOT close to their closing time and they were not that busy. There were employees in the work area laughing, talking, joking, and lounging outside... but this man said he could not fix the tire!!! Then he had the audacity to say "Bring it back tomorrow." When my husband told him that he needed the car for work in the morning he didn't say a word and he just stood there looking at him blankly. OMGOSH THIS PLACE IS INSUFFERABLE! HOW DARE THEY TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY!!! They are supported primarily by minority customers and every time we've tried to give them business they are rude, disingenuous, discourteous, and condescending. I am going to contact Good Year corporate offices about the horrific customer service at this business. They think they can repeatedly treat people like less than human beings without consequence? I have been visiting this establishment for the last 3 years and have received nothing but excellent service. The environment is always well kept and the front desk staff is very polite and accommodating. There is no need to worry about spending an entire day's the service is usually fast and quite reliable. In the event they are quite busy, you are always notified in advance in given the option to hang around or return when your vehicle is ready. The pricing is very consistent and their General manager is always friendly and professional. The lady at the desk even told me the person who was first working on my car stopped and left in the middle of the service. So I have to give props where it's due. This Goodyear recently changed over to new management and it was the best thing they could have ever done. I've been going to this Goodyear for over 10 years off and on; mostly for oil changes. Over the past three or so years I have to say quite frankly the service SUCKED and most of it was because of the manager. I won't mention his name because he's no longer there but he knows who he is. This guy was extremely rude, argumentative and unprofessional towards customers. And when he tried to up-sell you on a service or item you didn't want - like a warranty - he tried to make you feel like you were an idiot. About a year ago I was in the waiting area when he got a call on his cell phone and I heard him say, " {Female name} are you (expletive) stupid?" Now, if this was a conversation that was taking place away from the front desk and I just happened to overhear it, then I would say he was just being a jerk and leave it at that. But the fact that he was a) on a personal call in front of customers, and b) was being disrespectful to someone else let me know what he was all about. Then, when one of his co-workers came out he proceeded to tell them about the "f-ing stupid" thing his wife just asked him. The only compliment I could have given back then was that the technicians were generally friendly and would quickly accommodate my requests like putting air in my tires for free. Obviously enough people complained or upper management got wind of the antics because I was happy to walk in there one day recently to find a whole new crew of people who actually smiled, greeted me, told me they'd be with me shortly and were professional all the way. When I was leaving I let them know the improvements were very obvious. It's pretty rare that I can ever say I get good customer service in this county because most businesses in PG (except Bowie) have developed a reputation for being the absolute worst in that area. But I needed to share this story because I believe businesses should be recognized for trying to do better. Hopefully Goodyear keeps up the good work. read more

I offered to pay for the tires first but they refused. No cash deposit, no order. Perhaps it is because I'm black. I called this location on Friday to get a rough estimate to replace a high pressure power steering hose. I spoke with Anthony and he called me back in just minutes with an answer. He was very nice and and professional. When I walked in the following morning, Anthony was at the front desk. He greeted me warmly and remembered me calling the previous day. His customer service was on point. I dropped off my car to be repaired and it was ready in about 3 hours. My car has been running smoothly since the repair and I definitely intend to use this location for future services. read more

Came here for a tire repair for a screw in my tire. Wasn't able to make an appointment, so I was scared showing up at 5 pm as to how long it would take. I was pleasantly surprised as they were working on my vehicle in less than 10 minutes and had the repair done in about 30 minutes. Been here a few times for unscheduled maintenance, when "surprise" problems pop up. Staff is very courteous. Service is good. Amenities for patrons waiting are good, and wait area is clean. This service center is very busy so an appointment is best. A few times I had no appointment and was in and out at 2 hours or just under 2 hours. Work performed has fixed the issue. read more

The location was very clean. The staff was very courteous. Their waiting area was a little comfy room in the back that had a snack machine, coffee, several several seats and a nice size television. I came out of there spending way less money than I thought I was going to spend. I'm very pleased with the service I have received from Goodyear from the time I called until my car was complete. I called with concerns about having to constantly test out my air pressure. When I went to the location management advised me that they were extremely busy but call after a certain time and I could bring my car back to prevent long wait times. After they determined the issue they had to order my tire and I returned the next morning with no delays. Overall experience excellent, I hope to continue receiving this great service. read more

I was there for front brake services and master cylinder replacement. Upon leaving I noticed when I press the brake pedal it proceed down to the floor. I was told to drive the minivan around for a few days and the pedal will return to normal. This was very uncomfortable for me I took the minivan back they did a fix that was short lived so I took it back again and they were unable to resolve the issue. I was told by the manager to take it to the dealer it was nothing else they could do. Don't trust these guys they do not care about your safety. Very poor and unacceptable service. read more

This place is a joke. I took my car for oil change at first they were trying to reschedule my appointment cause the technician was having a little trouble getting the drain plug off, finally another technician was able to take it off. later the sales representative came back with the oil filter cover cause none of the technician were able to put it back on. he said it was safe to drive my car without it. I though it was not safe so I left my car at the shop, call the shop first thing in the morning and the service manager has a little attitude instead he should've apologize for the inconvenience and for having not well trained technicians. read more

The price for premium tires are on par or better than most of their competitors. This the only reason I give them 2 stars. I gave a low rating for the wheel alignment work. The steering was not on center and I realized this driving on the highway. When I took it back the next week a different alignment tech was working. The tech that originally performed the work was off. My vehicle was test driven by the on duty alignment tech, he reported that it "wasn't that bad!". I said to him "what did U say?". He responded again with the same dumb answer. Who pays for an alignment and accepts less than 100%? If I can visibly see my steering wheel cocked to one side when I'm driving a straight line, the problem is bad. I don't think this unreasonable when I paid my $ for the service. I asked for the manager, he agreed with me and offered to have his "best alignment man," FIX IT (the managers words). I was not about to let this guy near my vehicle after his expert analysis. I now see why my alignment was off, since it was originally performed by a tech that is considered less qualified by the manager. read more
