This is to anyone who wants to go there for oil change. please be aware that you will spend at least 3 hours just for oil change ONLY. don't expect any other services you usually received at the other places when doing oil change. they don't check your car's brake, they don't check your tire to see if your car has loose tire or loose lock nut. Brief they just do oil change and sell every thing about oil change. you will pay for oil, pay for filter, pay for shop supplies and waste disposal fee 5% of your total. Just 2 hours later, after spending 3 hours there for what they called oil change and engine flush, The tire of my car broke down on the High way at night because of loose lock nut of the tire. I could have avoid this incident if I were doing my oil change somewhere that does oil change and car's check up. I wish i knew before that they Only, ONLY, ONLY do oil change. I could have save some money and time; yes, they are not cheap either Please save your life, your money, your time and energy. I will not recommend their service. I swear I will never step foot in this place again! Bad experience ever!!! read more

So I took my car here today for a oil change when I got there I had no service lights on my dashboard. While there after the filter is removed the technician ask me to get out the car so he can show me the air filter housing was broken and says it had to be broken before today however he completed the oil change and guess what my check engine light was on so of course I complained saying it couldn't had been broken before today because my service light wasn't on until you bothered my car. This is unbelievable I feel the staff is incompetent please stay away do not take your car here I blame myself for trying to get a quick oil change and not going to the dealership. I did believe the prices are a little steep as I was lucky to get 50% off, however their service was so well I will definitely come back at full price. The staff here are EXTREMELY friendly!!! I absolutely love it. A technician came over as soon as I pulled up and examined my car to see which type of oil my car needed. The showed me the list of options and explained the difference. After I made my choice, I was greeted by the manager who put my info into the system. I typically go to the Lube Center's competitor for my oil changes, however I have a new car and three of their competitor's locations didn't have the correct filter in stock. I did a search, found the Lube Center, and called them to see if they had my filter. I went the next day and the man that greeted me told me he would check on the filter and if they didn't have it, they would run to the nearby auto parts store and get one. They did have it in stock. All of the employees were polite and professional; customer service was fantastic. They even offered us drinks. They changed the oil quickly and efficiently, checked all my fluids and lights, and got me on my way. Next time I need my oil changed, I'm headed to the Lube Center. read more

This was my first time coming here. I am new to the area and had been pushing off an oil change for WEEKS because the places I called and visited were giving me vague and run-around answers (probably bc i'm a young lady who clearly knows very little about cars). I used to go to a place similar to this and decided to give it a try. Immediately was greeted by the manager with a smile, explained different options of service for me, and I was in and out within 20 min (it really is a drive through oil change service so i never left the car). Everyone that passed by was super nice and friendly. I was serviced my Tim. He was very quick and patient when I asked questions (even showed me a few tricks about my car). After 3x of getting my car serviced at The Lube Center and being recommended the Synthetic oil change, I noticed that my oil change was being recommended to return every 3,000miles instead of 7,500 miles. I was also recommended a transmission flush when my real issue was to recharge my A/C unit. I was told that the transmission flush could contribute to my a/c working (incorrect) after getting the transmission flush, the issue was not resolved. Now spending over $500 at Lube Center when I was only needed to have 2 oil changes in that time and spending $80 unnecessarily, I called and spoke to Davon Dorsey and he offered a free car wash. He refused to provide me with any value for my inconvenience, I don't need a car wash I needed my recommended oil changes without misleading information. This was horrible service, they will rip you off and mislead you for sales. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST mechanics I've ever experienced. I went in for a simple oil change, which went fine, but I was also told that some of my brake lights went out and needed to be replaced. So they unhooked the brake light and one of the attendants tells me that it broke off and she didn't know if it was already broken or if she did it, so they had to beat it back in. Now my brake light keeps dangling in my trunk, I found a piece of the casing in my trunk and before it wasn't there or loose, so who is at fault. Finally, at this point I was getting angry and I knew this place couldn't do anything for me so I decided I would find a way to fix it myself and I let it go. Until today, my father was doing a simple check on my car and found out that the oil in my car was completely empty after paying for a 5 month oil change and only a little over 2 months has passed. After going to another mechanic I was told there weren't any leaks so basically I payed for a nonexistent oil change and for my car to be ruined at this place that isn't even remotely cheap. PLEASE save your money, time and energy. I swear I will never step foot in this place again! read more

The lube center on Annapolis Road provided me with perfect service. Devon and two other technicians (whose names I didn't get) worked hard to get me in and out as fast as possible. They even noticed that a piece of plastic was hanging from my engine and went above and beyond to get the tools necessary to replace it properly. I haven't even left yet and this is already the best oil change experience I've ever had. The supervisor, Tamara, is honest, attentive, and knowledgeable. The staff is efficient & thorough. Never once did they try to push anything on me that I didn't ask for. She wouldn't even let me change my wiper blades until she saw they left steaks. **update** on my way home, I was on the highway and noticed that the hood had not been locked securely down. I had to pull over and close it myself. However, the service was SO GOOD overall that this didn't even bother me. I am currently getting an oil change at this location on Annapolis Rd in Lanham MD and when I tell you that they EXEMPLIFY the epitome of CUSTOMER SERVICE... it's an understatement. I can not recommend this location enough for service. This is my second visit and while I was impressed with my first experience here, I was absolutely blown away by the superior, quality, exemplary customer service I received. I was greeted upon arrival and every thing was explained every step of the way. They let me know that some of my rear lights were out and other potential issues that if left unchecked, could potentially leave me sitting on the side of the road...sad, cold and crying. Today is 12/3/2019...approximately 10:30 am. Each and every staff member working here today deserves a shout out. Thank you for all that you did for me today. I visited this place twice. The first time I came to test it out and I worked with an excellent technician named Davon. This guy provided stellar service! It was quick and efficient; made me feel like I was missing out on a treasured location the whole time. They offered me water, juice, and/or coffee. I never received that type of treatment when getting my car serviced. It definitely left a grand first impression on me. Even though I came to spend a budgeted amount of cash, Davon educated me on some additional maintenance issues that I didn't consider. He made ideal recommendations that I couldn't turn down and showed me the proof. Typically I'd be upset about spending extra cash but Davon made it easy and seamless; I felt confident that the expense was necessary. Because of the great experience with my first car, I brought my wife's car there to be serviced as well! I worked with Davon again for the second time and he kept the same energy. This guy even remembered my name! Talking about grade A service! With both these experiences I now consider myself a permanent customer. read more
