I had heard good things about the Goodwood Brewery. So my wife and I went there for a mid week dinner. The facility was very nice with a lot of TVs and indoor or outdoor seating. When we arrived, we were informed that they were backed up and that it would be a little while before they got to us. We sat in a booth indoors and it was very loud. It wasn't that long before we were able to order a flight of 4 beers and they were all very good. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower and it came with pickled celery bits and blue cheese. The flavors were excellent! However it was soggy and way undercooked. We then split the Goodwood Burger and fries. The waitress told us that all of their burgers are smash burgers. So the burger was well done, we did not see and couldn't taste the pimento cheese that was in the description. The fried jalapeños were very good and not that hot. The fries were hot and very good. The waitress was very nice and checked on us a couple of times. The bill wasn't that bad either. In summary, I feel this place has a lot of excellent potential. Terrific service and food today, Will!! Our lunch group of 17 (all single checks) didn't phase you or the kitchen at all. We ordered a wide variety of things and yet everyone got their food at about the same time. And it was great! So was the Key Lime pie. I am glad that Mcgurks was repurposed. I was sad to see it go. However, Goodwood is a great replacement. I had an Irish red draft called Red 4 Man. Very full flavored beer, my wife had the fish and chips. The fries were very good, they were battered and the seseasoning was tasty. She is very picky when it comes to tartar sauce, she said they didn't give her enough, so that's saying something. I had the pulled pork bbq sandwich. It was one of the best I've had!!! Would definitely recommend. This is a Kentucky operation, so they have their own brand of bourbon and draft beers. My husband and I went to dinner on a Saturday night around 530pm. 10 min wait which wasn't bad, however, they do not have a designated waiting area and the restaurant was getting busier. We were seated at a high top table, by the bar, in the walking path to and from the kitchen. Personally the two high top tables on the left side of the bar near the kitchen need to be eliminated. People kept bumping into me and my husband and it was extremely crowded for that small space. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese which was ok. Nothing special. My husband ordered the pork tacos... which were very runny and spicy. He ordered a side of house chips which came out cold. Totaling to $40. Not too bad. Going back to no waiting area, an elderly couple paced around the bar for seating while they waited for their table... they of course couldn't find a spot at the bar, therefore, they asked to join our table! We were kind and said they could join us but a waiting area needs to become a thing! The waitress was very nice and we had no complaints about her. read more

Decided to try this new spot on Main St. Ofallon Mo ( old Mcgurks spot) We asked to be sorted at a table there were two of us. We were seated near the back bar near the entrance to the Patio. Quite chilly with folks coming in the back door thru patio. Door did not close all the way. Drafty. Food got cold faster my husband got southern Blt with fries I originally asked for chicken sliders but was later told kitcjen was out opted for cheeseburger sliders with tator tots service and as good atmosphere sporty with lots of TV's we were there Saturday @430. Walked in for an early dinner-after 15 minutes had to ask for a server. There was only 1 other table with customers-the staff were all standing around. The food was terrible. We each had the cod sandwich with fries. Extremely greasy and taste was blah. There were alternative flies/gnats at the table the entire meal. This is a hard no for us. read more

Food was very good. Pretzel was large and good but a tad overpriced at 13$. Wasn't thrilled with the beer I tried. The black cherry was the best. Wanted to try their 4 dollar beer but of course it was sold out. Our waitress was good for food service but needs alot of work on her beer knowledge of their products. read more

I had high hopes for this restaurant when they opened very close to my neighborhood because I had visited their locations in Kentucky and really enjoyed my experience. O'Fallon, MO location falls short. The selection of bourbons and craft beers has decreased since when they originally opened. In the past the salads were very good but tonight the Caesar dressing tasted like sugar had been added to it and the lettuce was warm and wilted. They have a loyalty rewards program that is difficult at best to use. We usually eat at the bar up in front but no seats were available there when we arrived so we were seated by the hostess at a table near the bar that wasn't open. Drink and food service took longer than expected. Our waitress probably wasn't old enough to deliver the beers to the table, which I understand, but we weren't so far from the open bar that the bartender couldn't have brought them to us. read more

Great atmosphere, looks beautiful. Terrible service, understaffed, and very clear they only care about their regulars. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and she said "so sorry I'll be with you soon". Then after another 10 minutes she came over to take our drink orders, didn't bring waters or do any apologizing. Proceeded to help others who sat down after us and didn't start on our drinks. A manager came out and said, "hope you like football, cause I'm changing the tvs" we said that's great and we also love cocktails, he said "sorry I'm not a bartender, I'm in charge of tvs, so I can't help, but I'll make sure she works on her craft". Asked her if she was doing alright and needed help; and she said no. After another 20 minutes of her still not making our drinks, we headed out. As we were leaving bartender made eye contact with us, didn't say anything, and the regulars at the bar laughed. We miss McGurks. You can skip this place! read more

The manager came by our table to personally tell us how busy he was and how many issues he was dealing with. He was extremely rude and sarcastic. Service is horrible and the food isn't far behind. Avoid this place if you are trying to enjoy a meal. read more

Very unhappy with the meal. Buffalo Chicken wrap it no Buffalo sauce at all. Dirty birds and Buffalo wraps chicken was as cold as ice. Talked to a gentleman and ask if he was a manager.
