First of all, Two Plumbers is a great name for a Barcade (or Arcade Bar). If you don't get it, think back to your childhood. If you like drinking beer, playing arcade games, sitting around with your friends with fun board games, or just hanging out at a place that is different from your typical trendy bar or sports bar, Two Plumbers is for you. There are many beer options on tap (my favorite is their Nitro Stout, named Have Sword, Will Travel) and plenty of arcade machines and board games to keep you entertained. You can order food to be delivered (although the delivery person may have trouble finding the place) or pick up some food before you arrive. My favorite time to visit is on Thursday nights when they host the Whiskey and Records event, where you can bring your own records or enjoy other people's record music while trying out a selection of whiskey/scotch. read more

We have been back to Two Plumbers a couple of times and I definitely like this place!! The cool part of it is the simplicity of it. Their beer is really good and seems pretty strong to me. They have a menu of their own beer offerings and they change it up often but still keep some of the main go to selections. So. Not a fair review; we were there for a party. It was the entire, second floor! Plenty of tables, many games to play; PAC-Man, other electronic games, skee-ball, pinball machines, etc. however, of the five pinball machines, only one worked. The scoring on one of two skee-ball machines did not work. It felt like the land of broken games up there. Downstairs, everything seems to function well. read more

Let's just start this review off with the major point, I WILL BE BACK POST COVID. Two Plumbers offers one of the most mind blowing arcade experiences I've seen in quite a long time. However, I wasn't quite ready to be touching communal games just yet. So major kudos on such an incredible selection of games. Excited to journey back to the county to play the Wheel of Fortune arcade game. Who even knew that was a thing?? I was definitely familiar with Two Plumbers from various St. Louis area brew festivals. They have a presence on the scene for sure. It's always fun to see their creativity on display during the Halloween brewers party in Lafayette Square Park. I happened to be out in St. Charles, so it was easy to stop by for my first brewery experience. The space is in an unassuming strip mall type plaza. Very easy to find right off the highway. There's also ample parking. We went home with three crowlers. The first was the American IPA called Rowsdower. It was pretty hoppy and smooth. The second we got was the Braunem Mantel which is an American Brown Ale. This beer was fine, not enough flavor to really set it apart from other brown ales in the area. We enjoyed the Ol'42 the most. This beer was a pretty classic hefeweizen with great flavors. The beers were enjoyable on a weekend afternoon. Easy to drink and also pretty accessible to folx who might not be as into craft beers. read more

So it's a Friday night and I'm in the mood for pinball. I realize I never got around to checking this place out. I suggest to the wife that we head over and take a look. She's hesitant until I check the website, see that it says 'No Smoking' and open till midnight, then we're on our way. Found the place despite Google navigation...it's in the strip mall between the QuikTrip and Mobil stations. Turn in anywhere other than the gas stations and LendNation and you should be good. Nice pinball machines in good shape. ATM next to the change machine. No idea what the ATM fees are, if any. Change machine takes ones, fives, tens and twenties. Friendly, helpful staff. We left after blowing through handfuls of quarters. We'll be back, I want to go several more rounds with these machines. read more

I really want to like this place. It's close to hone its on my way home from work. I used to run an arcade and I love beer. What could be better? I tried a flight of what the bartender claimed were the favorites and one IPA and a cider. The flight beers tasted exactly the same. The IPA was average at best and the cider was like drinking a glass of liquid toothpaste. Pass but maybe the others are better. The decor is mismatched the butcher block communal tables are great but the grade school cafeteria plastic chairs need to go. Also not a big fan of the stools in front of the games for people to sit on. People should be standing and playing games. Just my POV as a former arcade manager. Also I was just reading some of the questions posted earlier which say the establishment is 21+ but there must have been 6-8 teens there today and at least one baby. read more

Met a couple of friends on a Saturday at Two Plumbers Brewery + Arcade. I appreciate older arcade games and all pinball machines but had never been. The main draw on this day was we knew Guerrilla Street Food had opened inside. The bartenders were friendly and there were plenty of games for entertainment. I played Ms. PAC-MAN several times and it was a bargain at only 25₵. My favorite though is pinball and I really liked the Aerosmith machine. I chose that one because it was the only one there I had never played before. I beat it twice! I'd definitely return. Good place. read more

Two Plumbers wins major points on creativity; it's a brewery and an old-school arcade all in one! Bringing those two things together seems like a great combination, well at least in theory. First off let me just say that I love the idea of an old-school arcade for adults. Two Plumbers has this part down; they offer a wide variety of classic video games and pinball games. Be sure to bring some quarters! Seating is available at the bar or the tables, but come on we all know you are here for the games! Now the beer selection here is decent; they had about four of their locally brewed beers available along with about six other guest taps. I hate being critical however I wasn't a huge fan of their beers. However, the guest taps were a bit more appealing. Two Plumbers is a great place to grab a beer and play some classic games, but be warned it can get loud at peak times when people are trying to beat your high score! read more

Wow! Blown away by this establishment! I had their beer while at Hot Summer Nights last year in St. Charles so it was nice to be able to visit their brewery and see the familiar hearse out front when pulling in. We were the first customers of the day coming in just after noon on a Sunday. This made an excellent place to stop a muggy weekend day for my father and teenager and I. We really enjoyed talking with the bartender Dave. He was so fun and personable! He let us try a few different drafts before deciding and I ended up with the fruited sour followed by the pumpkin. They were both delicious! I didn't try one thing I didn't like! To top off the whole visit and experience, I smoked my son back to back in three racing games before he showed me up in a collaborative shooting one. This this microbrewery has just a handful of beers they make. It looks more like a bar where they serve local beers. They even had Sculpin on tap which is from California. They also have beers from Santa Fe which I think it was co. I was a good player and I had what they had to offer. I tried the Ermac which is a IPA red. It was ok. It tasted like they roasted barley. I also had Paulina which was a blonde ale. It was ok too. They have Long way to go with the beers. However, they have it right when it comes to atmosphere. There are a lot of games which I believe is mostly their focus. You can play Time Crisis, X-Men, GIJoe, Marvels vrs Capcom, Mortal Combat II, and many more. Definitely, check it out when in St. Charles. Well, I am changing my opinion about this microbrewery. You might wonder why. Rob the owner was attentive enough to read my review after I posted it, by no means he tried to change my mind. He shared his dreams and his goals in this industry. He is a very passionate person and believe on what he and his business partner are doing, and I respect that. With all the experience I have with beer, I don't believe I can do what they are doing. They want normal people like you and I to explore Beer and they are the under dog fighting the big monster in st Louis. Therefore, Rob and his company deserve the best. Been here a few times and it is always a good time. Fantastic date idea! You can have a lot of fun for a decent price. Nice that they now have some food as well. Good beer and nice atmosphere. Two Plumbers got a bouncer so now do an ID check at the door and you can't play games and drink beer as the bouncer rudely proclaims you must have your mask on while playing. The GIANT shower curtain around the bar makes it difficult to order and paying is another process as that is on another side of the bar where the coin machine is also at. Impossible to keep 6 feet of distance but the shower curtain "protects the staff" from you spending more money so that is nice. Bought one beer and spent $3 on games before deciding there are much better places in St. Charles. Oh, and just buy a NEW bubble hockey the first you had was junk and this one is no better as was broken, what a surprise. Can't believe you opened a new event space in 2021 how about improving your core location business first. read more

Found this close-by brewery while my wife was in meetings. Their location is a bit deceiving because it's tucked away in a trashy little strip center. Once inside, I was reminded of some of my old college hangouts. I asked the bartender for something dark and creamy. He recommended the Shipwreck with a warning that it was strong. The taste was perfect for my expectations and it was a bit strong. I wouldn't want more than one as I was driving after. The place is filled with old school video games and pinball machines. It was cool to play some of the games I'd grown up with. Highly recommend trying this place, if only for the beer alone. Good times! read more

This place is fun! Great staff, good beer, and they (at least the last time i was here a few months ago) let you bring in outside food. Hus-Ben likes arcade games so we come here sometimes to hang out with friends. It's also a great place to go if the indian place in the same area isn't doing sit-down meals anymore. We ran into that problem when we went out for a late dinner during a convention. We took take-out only from the indian place as a sign to get some quarters, play some pinball, and drink some beers to go with our indian food. They even do flights for those of us who can't make up our minds (i.e. me). This is definitely a really cool space. I highly recommend checking it out if you like old video games at all. read more

Best thing about Two Plumbers is their arcade and game selection. They have dozens of quarter operated machines from pinball to classics. They also have a shelf full of board games that you can play while there. I am a board game nerd and I was decently impressed with their selection. Why only 3 stars tho? I was disappointed that of the 7 beers available, only 3 were their own beers. And of those 3 beers, they were just average beers, nothing special. read more

The wife and I have been here a few time and can't get enough. Only downfall is that it's in the east part of St. Charles County. When will Wentzville or a western city in the county get a location? After seeing a post before mine upset about the bar doing their best to keep business going during the midst of a pandemic, I decided to finally add my two cents. I've been going for years and it has quickly become my favorite cozy spot for beer and games. They have curbside pick up for a lot of their beer, the fact they're even open should be praised. They do not have a "bouncer" they have a gentleman asking for your ID as they are a 21+ establishment. I have never been spoken to rudely there by anyone. The staff is incredible. You can't have your mask off while you're playing a video game? Tough luck. Get over yourself. It's a pandemic. It's a small space. Between levels, pull your mask down and take a sip. Or better yet as you don't want to be bothered, get a 4 pack from them on curbside, sit in your car playing arcade games on your phone. Games and beer without a mask and with no "bouncer." Problem solved. Seriously, stop being such a whiner. Buy a new hockey table? Ever think possibly the pandemic made that a lower priority as business got tough? If it's so simple, buy your own bubble hockey table. They're doing their best as a small business during an unexpected pandemic. Have some decency and give them support. The staff have been nothing less than extraordinary and shaming them online because someone had the nerve to tell you to wear a mask, (something you knew you'd need to do going in) is pathetic. We were looking for a place to kill some time before our flight, and this place popped up in our search. It was a lucky find. It has a good variety of games along with plenty of tables. Most of the games were a quarter to play and operated without issue. There was a Cardinals game on, so the bar was busy. They were quick while still being friendly while serving. 3.5 stars This arcade bar concept is really taking off and Two Plumbers is a welcome addition to that scene. The space is fairly small (and loud, and warm... ) but it certainly doesn't attract the bro-y crowd these arcade bars can sometimes attract. They also have a large selection of board games, which is a nice bonus. Two Plumbers offers a few of their own beers on tap as well as a few local guest taps. Neither their beer nor that tap list was particularly impressive to me (I tried the IPA, which was just okay but nothing to write home about), but you're really here for the games. No food but you're welcome to bring stuff in. Also, you need quarters to play so either bring your own or get some at the change machine (at the end of the row of pinball machines). Overall a fun place to chill and play some games if you're in the area. Rounding up to 4 stars if only because of the arcade bar concept and clever name :-). read more
