This is the only Goodwill in Springfield so it's pretty big and busy, but they don't seem to have great selection somehow. The book section is super small and the general household section isn't as extensive as it initially appears. The employees are nice but just kind of there and zoned out sometimes. The prices are higher than they should be and you can probably find everything cheaper at a Vinnie's. The parking lot is big but can be very full and people don't seem to understand how to drive in it. It's easy to get out of if you're turning right onto Main, but good luck turning left. read more

Short: Very spacious, lots of clothes and other items, pretty organized, and a handful of bells to reach an employee. Current hours are 10am - 7pm. Visited week of Sept 24th 2022. I haven't visited in a long time, I used to come often when I first moved to Eug-Springfield area. It is located next to the Springfield DMV and there is a bus stop [Bus 11] next to it. It is pretty accessible transportation wise. The entrance is a bit crammed however, since there's a line rope in between the entrance/exit doors and carts. On the right hand side, there are lockers for large bags. I found these super helpful since I had a big bag from a previous store. [Price]: The prices here are relatively reasonable prices for most items. The sale is really great here, 75% off and 50% off on two selected colors. I seriously[!!] love that! I found some nice pieces of clothes being like $2-4/piece. (Sadly, they weren't my particular taste/not what I was looking for. I decided to leave them for someone who could better appreciate them). Most shoes were around $7-12, from what I saw. Unless it was speciality or brand new from a store donation. I scored some blue jeans for $3, since they were 75% off! [Organization]: The layout of the store is very spacious and pretty organized. There are definitely lots of racks! The staff was helpful in directing me in which aisles I needed to be. The books at any Goodwill are barely organized, at least these had nice clear labels of which books were fiction or literature/arts. The clothing racks had clear signs, such as "Women's coats, Women's short sleeve jerseys". The lines to pay when busy, could get a little chaotic, but staff are pretty good in directing which line is open for scanning and paying. Also the rack for Oregon Duck/ similar sports apparel is pretty small. I would suggest going to ones in Eugene for more selection on that [Fitting rooms & Bathroom]: The fitting rooms clothes about 30 mins before closing. There is a bell all the way on the right hand side to call an employee to help assist you into a fitting room. There were small arrow signs pointing to the bell. I found this really funny. The bathroom has a more clear sign and location of the bell to call an employee to unlock the bathroom for customers to use. Overall, I definitely had some good finds from this Goodwill on my most recent visit. Staff were helpful and there were definitely a lot of items to browse through. This Goodwill location is definitely worth at least an hour to browse around. I can't wait to visit again! read more

For an update... first, the positive... This store still has a good selection when shopping. Lots of items, full nice shelves, clothing racks, etc. Now the negative.. I always hear other customers complaining to each other about priced items. (I couldnt agree more. Or telling each other to guess the outrageous price the item is marked for. Most expensive store (in my opinion) for All Of Lane County. (I visit all frequently) Overall, all items are overpriced. Items that are damaged are overpriced.. When they should be cheap or even thrown out. The most common used price amount I saw in store during my last visit was 9.99. read more

BEWARE: This Store has NO respect for Shoppers. They absolutely will not discount an item, even if it is damaged. AND BE ADVISED...This Store takes NO RETURNS !! This stuff has been Donated to them and they are very GREADY ! Then they ask if you will round up your $$ purchase to donate to something !! Who is pocketing that $$ ?? This is a bit outrageous. They get used item, to be sold under value for charity, or at Least that's what they repeat to get you to give them stuff for free. Here's a beat up bike at x4 the price at Walmart new. read more

I bought a couch and a TV stand I told the lady I wouldn't have away to come and get it until. Today so I went to pick it up tonight the guy working in the back of the store said he couldn't find it that they must have resold it to someone else if that ant a way to run a business they told me they would give me store credit but I don't think I will be doing any business with them again I no someone in the store got that couch because they have a ticket two peace ticket you take half of the ticket when you buy it and show it to them when you come to pick it up so you tell me how did this happen and nobody knows anything somebody knows were my couch went I would like for a Manger to wreck out to me I am very un happy with them read more

I found lots of good deals here, but it's more expensive than St. Vinnie's. My husband and I went in here and were looking for clothes. Of course, we had to wander the entire store, in case there was something we couldn't live without. I found a bowl that matches some I have at home and love. They've got handles and are perfect for microwaving soup in. My husband found several nice pairs of shorts, both for everyday and work. Needless to say, he was pretty excited. He rarely finds clothes in these stores. It's usually me. I found several pairs of Nike workout pants in my size, which is what I had been looking for. They were $1-2 more expensive than St. Vinnie's, but still cheap and in great shape. They'll serve me well. All together, we spent around $45 here total. It's not a store we go to often, and probably won't go back to for a while. We just happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. read more

Not a lot of quality stuff. There are no LCD monitors or good electronics sold at this store. Every game disc or movie I checked was scratched beyond belief. read more

I overhead the staff talking about pricing products as close to what the retail price as they can get on a product. I found a pair of candle stick pillars priced at $20 a piece and they were chipped and not in good condition. I just don't understand how they can make money for the nonprofit if everything is priced so high and not being purchased in the store. That's probably why they have 30 bikes sitting outside that nobody can afford. I will never donate to this store! read more

Ok you guys need a different system for the dressing room, I stood there for 15 minutes and finally someone came to help me, and told me about the button, which I did not see, no signs on the button at all the days what it's for. I would have rated this store much better until book prices changed. I'm very disappointed that book prices have gone up. Pricing changed from $0.49 per book to individual pricing. Some books seem quite expensive. I still shop for books (paperback only) because most are priced at $0.99 each. I've started using my library instead. I only shop for books so I can't speak for other items. However sometimes the store smells like well worn shoes. read more

I don't really like Goodwill because they're usually pretty overpriced (in my opinion, a used pair of jeans shouldn't cost even 50% of what they would be new). I've found quite a few books there though, and at $0.49 a piece (hardcovers included), you can't really lose. Otherwise, this store is like most other Goodwills--somewhat clean, normal compared to other Goodwill stores. read more

They do a good job keeping things in order here. Everything is sorted by size, which is very useful! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Goodwill is Goodwill. You can't expect to find something good every time. This location tends to price things a bit more than the ones in the Portland metro area. The store is always filthy, clutter everywhere and things literally falling off the shelves. The layout is also cramped. If you wanna shop and not be annoyed with the amount of people I suggest you don't go on a weekend. read more
